When i download for example the new jellybean package in the sdk manager I can run it in my emulator wich means that i got the complete ROM. So my question is how to extract that ROM and flash it. Btw I got a Xperia mini st15i with official ics so can I get jellybean on it?
Hi,
theoretical, yes. But nothing will work. The ROM is optimized for the virtual Android phone and not for the Xperia mini st15i.
This means:
1. The drivers are wrong -> lots of things won't work.
2. It's not optimized for your display size -> widgets won't work until they are resized.
But you can build your own rom with taking this rom and add the sony ericsson stuff. But something still won't work, so you have to modify them.
I hope I could help you,
Hardy
Can you give me a link for a tutorial for optimizing roms. I already googled but didn't find anything.
Excuse me, I just want to request full working Backup-wizard from Xperia S ICS. Can you share me Xperia S ICS Backup-wizard with required libs and etc ?
im just amazed about that app, it runs like titanium backup without root and it is official release by sony...
just want to port it to other 2011 lineup thats why im asking also for the libs etc files cuz the app crashes after normal installation, and i think somethins missing thats why its not working....
thanks a lot...
Requirements:
1. A rooted Samsung Galaxy Star.
2. CWM version 6.
Steps:
1. Install Xperia Pirates ROM. For help go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748747. 80% of job done. Now its time to do small things that really matter.
2. You can install stock Sony Apps (like a Normal apk). Unfortunately I could not make stock phone and messaging app on our phone. Apps are included in attachments.
3. Although the ROM themes the elements, the progress bar is not that Xperia like, so install Smooth system progressbar (Xposed Module).
4. The Lockscreen Remains unchanged, install Xperia lockscreen from this post, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687654.
5. What's still missing is the bootanimation, unfortunately I could not find Xperia bootanimation, if you find it, please comment with the link
Some instructions to make the ROM more meaningful and beautiful
1. Change android version to 4.4, because by default it comes with 4.4.2 xperia pirates, but on launching the easter egg, you find 4.4. You can change it by editing build.prop.
2. Keep the font size of the home screen and app drawer at 13.9. you can change it in launcher settings.
3. You can use seeder to reduce lag.
If I have helped, click thanks

if a AOSP rom is avaliable then there you go, install that
AOSP= Android Open Source Project, a AOSP rom is just base android aka the base version of the firmware of all android devices but it does t have oem stuff so it should look like a nexus
so in short stock android=aosp rom, if avaliable for z2
cant delete photos
another issue I have. I cant delete the photos taken from the camera. When I delete them and restart de phone, they are back again. But screenshots, WhatsApp images, those I am able to delete them, and they dont come back again. Why is this happening? Is the OS or maybe MicroSD?

Are you using File Commander to delete them? With KitKat firmware, 3rd party apps can't be used to delete files from SD card. You need to use system apps like File Commander.
Hey everyone,
at the moment im switching between AOSP Android L and FlymeOS 4.
I really love some flyme apps especially the camera (because of filters), the calculator, sms app and file explorer.
But i don't want to miss the smooth, battery friendly experience of android l.
so my idea was to port the apps i want from flyme to android l. i found some tutorials, but the necessary pictures aren't available anymore.
anyone have an idea how to do the easiest way? i stuck at finding the correct libs and jar files. and if its possible to use flyme apps with the original framework-res.apk of android l or if i have to combine these?
i don't think that anybody portet these apps, so probably you could help me or give me the needed informations
thanks
nobody any ideas?
