Experimented with copies from \data\data\com.sonymobile.irremote\ without succes so far.
There must be a way, does anybody know?
No solution available, I guess.

After upgrading to CM10.2 nightlies, I noticed that neither of my purchased back-up apps function as intended anymore.
ROM Toolbox Pro fails to backup phone data (such as SMS, accounts, dialer info... etc.), and Titanium Backup gives me an "insufficient free storage space" error any time I try to back up my apps. Now, I've already tried pretty much everything with Titanium Backup outside of installing SuperSU. I've changed the backup directory to every combination of emulated/legacy and sdcard0/legacy... etc. that people have suggested to no avail. The only thing I can think of is that it doesn't play well with Koush's SuperUser app, but I don't want to bother removing it for SuperSU because it's integrated into the ROM nicely.
So is there any way to get Titanium Backup working properly with 4.3 ROMs? I'd like to use it ideally because the update.zip function really makes it the best backup option out there when it's working right.
Otherwise, are there any other backup apps that can backup apps/data/accounts/SMS with 4.3 ROMs without problems?
Did you enable USB debugging and Install from known sources?

Can't restore my backupped app-data by ES-Explorer or AppMonster. No matter whether I use LP-data or fresh MM-data. No matter whether CM or Haxynox.
Anybody succeeds?
The backup apps have to update to MM in order to work. At the moment the only Backup/Restore app that works is Titanium Backup (as far as I know). I tested it by restoring Lollipop apps with data on a Marshmallow ROM.
Sorry for choosing this Q&A-format inadvertently.
@Darkened_Sky: you build ROMs - can you give me or ES-people tip how to solve it?
@rp158 no idea. the app develeopers have to update it
I found a work-around for ES:
- install app only, without settings
- start the app one time & close
- install app with settings
ready
In Tesla-AOSP-MM for the 1st time restoring of settings works fine. With ES 4.023, surely not a revised version. So it has obviously to be solved by ROM
I searched for an alternative for ES, due to its annoying development, and found EasyBackup (+TotalCommander).
EasyBackup succeeds in restoring settings for MM, AOSP and CM-based, when ES and Titanium failed.
I don't know why but suddenly I can't find any manufacturers in quick remote, I've tried to clear data/cache of it and quickset sdk, can anybody help me please?
And is there any solution without rooting the phone?
Quick remote fix
STOCK - make backups with LG Bridge, attempt to factory reset and restore backup.
ROOT - I had this similar issue and was able to fix it using the following method. Make a backups via twrp & titanium, clean reflash the rom, and restore the backup.
Hi,
I used BackupAllApps module to be able to backup some app data from my rooted S5 (after installing Xposed).
I see after installing it that the data is created (before .ab was almost empty, now contains some data)
but then when I try to restore it on my new S10e (that is unrooted) I see that the restore works well (no error on screen) but then the app start like if I had not restored any data.
Do you know if to restore the app data on a new phone then you need also there the Xposed framework with same module, otherwise it will skip restoring app data if the allowBackup flag is not set for that app ?
I have the suspect that if the app does not allow the backup, then this will not allow also the restore of user data... is this right ?
Would be possible that with Android 11, this may work ? (I heard that Android 11 will disregard the allowBackup value for local backups/restore ut not sure if it will do also for old app and not only newer related to latest android version)
