so back again
recently had a post about my galaxy s2 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1502801 ) having network connection problems
so since the galaxy was bought second hand, i unblocked it with helroz application. The point is - it doesn't recognize my sim card in the country where i am now (Orange - France -only emergency calls), but accpets my foreign sim card (Roaming of course - but connected to one of the operators (SFR)).
Does this suppose to mean it's barred?
Does not accept a sim card
Sim Card faulty
Sim Card blocked .
And what do you mean by not accept have you set the Orange network connections ??
jje
both 2 cards work perfectly on other phones, so i don't think it's sim card problem
for each card the gsm ask for pin code - correctly input
but only for the orange card shows - emergency calls only
by settings you mean the APN?
aren't they supposed to be automatic when you insert the sim?

Nope, sometime you need to configure yourself, send message by you network operator or manual install, just give them a call
APN are fine
they were correct, deleted anyway and input again, same situation....
other suggestions?
still don't get if phone is barred why is my foreign sim card working since it uses the roaming netowrk?
Hi,
I've been frustrated by having two sim cards in two different nations that both need to be on and active at the same time. My phone obviously only supports one card, but I thought it might be possible to remedy this with software.
I'm not necessarily asking if it exists, but if it is at all possible to use a number without its sim card, ie. by importing all the data into the phone and using some software to fill the sim card's place.
Thanks!
Hi Folks,
Any idea on how to get rid of the encircled icon? Or at least, what is the name of this icon to help me search more. I don't have a second SIM card and I really didn't want to get a dual SIM handset but in my region only the dual SIM model is offered. So I've got this dual SIM phone with a single SIM card and the now none-sense icon.
Thanks in advance.
Since I could not figure out how to send a picture, I will explain. I have inserted a single SIM card in a dual SIM handset. Fortunately the phone is not showing any icons pertaining to the absent SIM card 2. But still it shows a SIM card icon with "1" in it designating that SIM card 1 is present. This is none-sense to me and I would like it to go. I want directions for doing this. I searched, but found nothing and even have no idea what this icon may be called to do some further search.
I'm using Marshmallow.
Thanks.
Hi. I received a Leeco le max 2 just today and although i spend a lot of time i didn't manage to find out how to:
1) Turn only the one of the two sim cards in to flying mode (or disable it anyway) and
2)Exchange the mobile data connection sim card (By default the sim card for data conection is the one that is placed at the sim card slot no1. Can i choose the sim card that i'll use for data connection without having to put out the sim cards tray everytime) ?
Thank you all in advnce
I have a strange issue with dual SIM.
I use a Telekom SIM in Slot 1 and a Vodafone SIM in slot 2.
Both Sims are correctly registered in their network and I can use data with either Sim card.
I settings I I did not preset any SIM for outgoing calls, so I can choose in the dialer which SIM I want to use for the call. However, no matter which SIM I use, always SIM 1 (Telekom) does the outgoing call.
if I deactivate SIM 1 and do a call, SIM 2 should automatically be used. But then I get an error "mobile network not available". Although data via the mobile network is working.
If I completely remove the Telekom SIM from the phone, everything works fine with the Vodafone SIM. So it is not a problem of the SIM card itself.
If I swap SIM cards and put Telekom in SIM2 and Vodafone in SIM1, also always the Telekom SIM is used. (SIM2 now).
I appreciate any help or ideas.
Same problem
I have the same problem and it is very strange why not people have noticed, I almost didn't find it in any reviews
I use 2 Sims as well be it 2 Swiss Providers but for me everything works as it should. I can choose to Use either Sim1 or Sim2 which works as it should. I can also set to use Data from either Sim1 or Sim 2 or even combined.
So it might not be that noone has noticed this problem - which could be provider specific - perhaps its just working fine for them, like it is for me

How Can you use combined data for sim1&sim2
Envoyé de mon LYA-L29 en utilisant Tapatalk
Hi Guys,
Just realized a quick fix for myself.
Settings-> Apps -> Apps -> Tap on Settings (3 Vertical Dots on right hand top corner) - > Show system Processes -> Type Search for "Phone"
Clear Cache and Data for:
1. Phone Services
2. Phone/Messaging Storage
Reboot. the calling function on both the sims should get functional.
Cheers!
