Hey all,
Last week I pre-ordered the Asus Zenwatch 2 for 170 euro's. I recently found out that Vodafone has a big sale; the LG watch R is now available for just 125 euro's. The specs are about the same so I'm in doubt. Wich one should I go for? The only thing I'm afraid of is that the support for the LG G watch R will end sooner than the support for the new Asus Zenwatch 2. What are your thoughts on this?

Lg g watch is same hardware than
lg g watch r
lg g watch urban ....
except wifi and screen résolution, so what ever run on lg watch urban (the last one) will run on lg g watch
So yes, you can buy it

Good question. supposed to be early Nov. but who knows. I was in a Telstra store yesterday and they had no ideas (which is not uncommon )
I'm waiting for it (V30+ H930DS Dual Sim)in the Gulf region...Not a peep from them,they keep tweeting "in the coming weeks". Poor management on LG side.

I too live in the UAE, the sad thing is any dual flagship from LG never gets bootloader unlocked! Still rocking the dual sim LG G4 (LG H818P) will be a massive upgrade to LG V30! Instead of buying locally dual sim LG V30 (LG H930DS) I'll order online an LG H930 (single SIM international version) I'll enjoy root as well as an custom kernel

Yesterday went to various shops, one of them said that it'll be arriving around 10th or 15th of November to Dubai! Why is LG so slow in releasing the best phone in the world!
Still no news in Europe either

Well the release date has been up on LG website since 2/11/17 stating availability at JB Hi-Fi from November 16th onwards. I've contacted my local store several times and finally today they were able to tell me that I can preorder it as of yesterday, even though there's nothing yet on their website. Happy Ordering!

Placed my preorder at local JB-HiFi today for $1199AUD. They're still not sure if it comes with anything else like a Google Home Mini or the rumoured Beoplay H3 earphones.
After checking the press release it seems they earphones are obtained via redemption from LG after purchase.

Well it's been 7 days since I preordered it and 5 days since its release and I still don't have it yet. Has anyone else got one from JB hi-fi yet? My local store seem to be having a very difficult time getting it in stock.

Mine arrived Thursday. 4 days and loving it so far.
So i decided to say quiet long ago. i was always on the g3 forums asking if anyone could make a g5 systemui for me, so on july 12 i bought the honor 6x but on September 20 my honor 6x's wifi was not working. 2 days later i got an lg g4 from my brother. since he got an lg g6 and let's be honest i was super jealous, and just 2 days ago i cracked my lg g4 really bad so i was gonna get the lg q6 the cheap g6 but it didn't support 5ghz wifi which is how i got rid of my honor 6x and our 2.4ghz wifi doesn't work. so then i decided when December hits i'll get the lg g5 and a glass screen protector to top it off. sooooo what else should i get for my lg g5. tell me.

Hi. I have lg g6 now for 2 weeks. Before i have huawei P10. P10 its good but Lg g6 its mutch better display(18:9), waterproof and better battery life. Wide angle its super.
No led notification but it have AOD.

I came from the G4, which refused to turn on after a software update, and all of my attempts to fix it failed. Getting this phone was cheaper (with a contract) than getting my G4 repaired. I also had to use my S3 for some time before I decided to purchase my G6.
I came from P10. In my opinion G6 is better.

Coming from Xperia Z3 Compact, I decided to try something bigger than 4,6 inch and G6 is very cheap in Poland nowadays. It was definitely worth it!

Im thinking about getting one these 2 phones. Ive owned an G5 before, but found it quite uninspiring when it was on android 7.0, but now only the SE is available in UK ..
I dont play games on phones.. apart from maybe Candy Crush or angry birds once a month or so.. and I use a phone for Music, Media, Camera and reading News..
Im in UK.. The G5 SE is £300 BNIB and comes with the LG Cam FREE... and the G6 is £430 and has No extras (IM in UK, so No extras as in Chi Charging, No DAC, only 32GB).
Is the UK G6 worth the Extra £130, and if not, is much noticable difference between the G5 SE SD 655/3GB or standard G5 SD 820 / 4GB and is G5 SE still getting updates?

the g5 se probably going to be obsolete in 1 year and riddled with issues(weak cellular,wifi performance,GPS dropping,image retention) so go for the G6. LG screens are prone to image retention so my best advice is to buy from another brand except from LG
