I don't understand what is it that I might be doing wrong, I root the tablet, have bootloader unlocked, and install Dualrecovery. From TWRP recovery I wipe Dalvik cache, Cache, System, and Data. Install PAC Rom Castor and GApps using TWRP, all seems to go well, no errors present themselves. Then I reflash "TabZ2-lockeddualrecovery2.8.21-RELEASE.flashable" to keep the recovery intact before I attempt to boot into system per their instructions after installing a custom ROM. I wiped Dalvik and Cache before I reboot and once it goes away from recovery nothing occurs just my tablet remaining in flash boot which is a good thing so I can start all over again since obviously something went wrong and just use flashtools to get back to an old stock firmware. I have a SGP512. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Edit: Even tried it w/o wiping system and same results just doesn't boot.

Your device will never Boot if you flash pac with nuts recovery. It causes to much Problems with cm based roms. So to rescue your tab you need Boot into fastboot and write "fastboot erase recovery" then flash this kernel http://doomlord.xperia-files.com/do...2U3RrS2VybmVsX1dJRkktdjAzXzE3LjEuMS5BLjAuNDAy
Do not reboot to system. Power of the device and then Boot into recovery (when you see the Sony logo and the LED light turns pink/amber/orange keep tapping/pressing VOLUME UP key). Then you will See cwm recovery. There first do a factory reset and Format system. Format system is in mounts and storage options) now flash PAC Rom and gapps and reboot to system now the device should Boot correctly. After the first boot do all settings then go to developer options and you will find expand reboot menu or something Luke this. Tick it and than hold the power button for some second tap reboot than bootloader (before connect the device with your PC) than use fastboot to flash the New recovery. Use one of these http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...wrp-cwm-philz-recovery-collection-z2-t3052676
For instructions to flash recovery look in the thread there are a step "Installation" if you need more help write me

Thanks! I used Flashtools to flash over the recovery via fastboot and accessed the recovery to do the rest. I had no idea CM based ROMS don't work well that recovery or any other I haven't tried yet. Any suggestion on what recovery to use? So far CWM got me this far not sure if I should try others. Philz Touch seems to be more appealing and the same as CWM.

So... I got my HTC One today and it's been a very difficult experiance. I am quite a newbie when it comes to rooting and such but I managed to unlock my bootloader (with the exception that it shows TAMPERED at the top) then proceded to flash TWRP through fastboot. TWRP wouldn't mount /data, /sdcard, etc... it wouldn't work. A little bit of searching led me to flash CWM instead and that seemed to work.
In CWM I wiped data/factory reset, then flashed SuperSU, then flashed CleanROM, then flashed BulletKernel, and finally reboot. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop and when I go to my bootloader and try to enter recovery it reboots, shows the CWM logo then reboots my phone. I tried re-flashing CWM via fastboot to no avail.
TL;DR: Phone is in bootloop and won't even boot into recovery
Any help would be much appreciated,
Thank you!
EDIT: Had a feeling it was due to the fact I didn't clear cache/dalvik cache before rebooting. I erased my cache via fastboot and voila it booted into recovery!

Boot into bootloader. Then do fastboot erase cache. Then try rebooting. If you can get into recovery but not ROM, reflash the ROM. If you can't even get into recovery still, try reflashing recovery. Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. Then try getting into recovery and reflashing.

Hello guys, so previously I was on nameless rom 4.4, and i wanted to change my recovery from cwm recovery to twrp recovery. So I used this app from the playstore to do it TWRP Manager app. Anyways this app seemed pretty buggy to me, and it was requesting me to install busybox, so i just followed the instructions. Anyways, after it had finished installing twrp, I wanted to test it out. So, when i tried to reboot in recovery, the phone is now stuck on the samsung logo. Cant even boot normally. What should i do now?

Try and reboot into recovery holding up power and home keys then wait galaxy s3 to be displayed then the phone should boot into recovery. From there do a wipe data factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache. I would recommended using the latest Clockworkmod recovery as it seems reliable. You can install it using Rom Manager from Play Store, as long as you have root follow the necessary instructions to flash the recovery.

You may need to flash back to stock using Odin then re rooting again.
so i should flash the latest stock rom (4.3) for my region using odin? like this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/restore-to-stock-rom-galaxy-s3-i9300-t2187081
fixed using odin, though rather sad that my internal sd got wiped as well

Glad it's fixed I would recommend not to use apps from playstore to flash recoveries or roms seen nothing but trouble from them.Either use Odin or custom recovery to flash to avoid trouble in the future.
hi everybody.
my phone is booting every time. with odin i installed already twrp and cwm. with twrp I can just see the logo and then the phone is booting again. with cwm, i am able to see the menu but when i try to wipe the phone, the phone starts to boot again.
i installed cyanogenmod via adb but the phone is not starting android.
the last chance i have is to hope that someone of you have a solution.
i uploaded a video to show you what i mean.

Have you tried flashing a stock ROM?
yes. but it is still in the loop.
Flashing in Odin was successful?
After flashing the stock ROM, did you perform a factory wipe before booting for the first time?
thats not possible. i can boot to the clockworkmod recovery but if i choose the option "wipe data/factory reset" the recovery will be closed and the smartphone boots again and open the recovery.
1, download mode and flash an official stock rom (one package) via odin. Make sure it is for your device specifically.
2, Boot to official stock recovery and wipe data/factory reset. If the phone reboots after this you need to be prepared to key combo to download mode BEFORE it boots android.
3, Flash the official stock rom again.
All remnants of any previous roms will be gone and you should have a booting phone.
Beamed in by telepathy.
It worked with the stock recovery. Now I was able to install cyanogenmod. Thank you very much!!!
Maby this post help you when you get bootlop to recovery each time after installing twrp and custom rom.
Problem is exsdcard uses on old phone:
1. Disable phone
2. Remove sdcard
3. Run phone.
4. After system is run put sdcard again and delete twrp folder in file manager.
5. Reboot phone.
End.
Didn't work for me.

Bootloop Never gets past LG screen now, and all computer software thinks my phone is a Pixel.
Fixed it, phone starts up just fine. Back to stock.
Hi
Got a GT-P5110.
- boots to stock recovery (or other recovery) insted to system
- buttons are not stuck
- Original GT-P5110ZWAXEO (from file in efs), on case, on box
- Can flash CWM, philz, twrp recovery, it will boot the recovery
- After installing any custom rom (lineageos13, cm10, cm12, cm13, omni etc) it will boot to the recovery
- Choosing reboot in the recovery will power off the device, not reboot
- flashing factory rom (P5110XXDNH2 and some other) with odin works, after reboot it shows "Installing system update..", the blue bar goes to about half, after it will show "Erasing..." and power off after a second. Power on again it will boot to facotry recovery, in this place wipe data will work, wipe cache will give error.
- wiping the partitions work with custom recovery, chcecked from shell, partitions are writable, no errors
- flashed new PITfile with repartitioning, still no change.
- if i install a custom ROM, the battery charge screen will come from the custom rom.
So i can not get any OS working on this tab. Any ideas?
The 4-file ROM for odin i only found for GT-P5100, should i try to flash it?
I found the bootloader for P5110, should i flash it?
Thx
So i found my problem.
It was the like here, i missed this thread before. The dock/charge connector was faulty (looks like new) and prevents the tab from booting.
