Hey guys I love my GS2 but want to get the best out of the camera, can anyone tell me the best settings to use to get the best out of it ?
Cheers
Depends on situation dude. I just make sure that Anti shake is On always, and image quality is Superfine with Full res 8 MP.
Use the Scene modes properly to get the best effect. Beside all that you gotta have steady hand
I have other non China android phones that records video pretty impressively under bad or average lighting conditions. According to MT6573's specification, it has support for advanced 3D graphics; multi-format video capture and playback up to FWVGA 30fps; high-resolution camera support to 8MP.
An irritating thing is that the camera is TOTALLY USELESS under average or poor lighting conditions when recording. I have tried with different apps and they all gave me disappointing video recordings (almost total darkness clips).
Just wondering if I'm the only one facing this problem. Is there anyway to rectify the problem?

In such un branded devices its common...
Its like in Nokia or Samsung phone 1.3 mega pixel camera gives the same result as 5mp of that micromax or karbon...
So in such cheap phones its not necessary that if they write 8mp than it will like 8mp of that Samsung innov8...
we all should be polite enough to press thanks for anyone who helped US.
Yeah, thanks but is there a way to 'reduce' the pixel count? I don't need large recordings, just bright ones
You can change resolution of video in setting
Higher the resolution better the clarity

Did that but it didn't improve the brightness level when recording. Is that a problem with 6573 platform in the first place? In that case, is the 6575 and 6577 also the same?
Sorry no idea about that two devices..

Hey guys,
I just saw some nice stuff that was did on the nexus7, like enabling 720p video recording with front cam.
Well, our beloved phone can do this without problems.
But the crap is, that the s3 has only 3 or 4 choosable resolutions, one is 1280x960, other 2 are more like squares, and the standart 640x480.
But actually I want to take picutures in 720p or 768p, what would be below the 2MP range. I know the phone is able to do it, since it does video recording i the same resolution.
Maybe someone can tell me, what file need to be modded to enable this?
I would try it.
with regards
alex
Hi all,
I've got a tablet running Android 4.0.3.
Now what's bothering me is, it's a 7" tablet but with a resolution of 800 x 480. It displays circles into ovals... images are stretched in the 800-px direction.
Can I do anything to fix it? Thanks!
Hi,
First I would like to thank the developpers of this ROM as it really gave my tf201 a new life. Working really great so far. My only problem would be the font rendering, all fonts look really blurry. I have used iFonts to change the default font and it is now a lot better but still fonts are not crystal clear. I have searched the forum for quite some time but haven't found anything on the matter. Has someone experienced the problem as well ? Is there a workaround ?
Thank you
It's not possible to make it crystal clear because prime's resolution is 1280*800 on 10.1 inch screen.
Nowadays phones have 1920*1080 on 5 inch screens and it's equal to 441 ppi pixel density. Asus prime's pixel density is only 149.
I was under the impression that fonts were not that bad with stock ROM (but I only just got the tablet and almost directly put KatKiss on it, so I might be mistaken). Changing the default font with iFonts made quite a difference already.
