i have an error on my mobile Samsung S2 it happened recently today
when i try to enable the portable wifi or USB tethering i got this error message ( security policy restricts use of internet sharing )
I have many friends more than 5 in my work which also face same problem by today all of us is working on the official room 2.3.5 from Samsung
Kindly any one can help me in this how to disable this security policy also i tried to rest my phone to factory default i didn't work
you need to talk to the computer system administrator to change router settings to allow the phones to contain to the router.
Policy comes from the router not the phone.
You mean the GSM provider or what becuase i use this with the 3G network
No, i am system admin at work as he controls access the router, at home you would have to adjust the settings on your router.
provider has nothing to do with using wifi or usb tethering as data comes through network settings on your phone which is not restricted.
what do you mean by router , as i am using GPRS from my network operator
when i try to turn my mobile to access point i got this message , kindly advise what the relation between this and router , because i am not connected to any router as a network in my company

I think, you may fix this problem already. But I will answer for someone else who may have the same problem.
"Security policy restricts use of internet sharing" error happens because you use Exchange Active Sync mailbox. The Exchange Active Sync will use and pull the Security Policies from your Microsoft Exchange Server. And on your Exchange Server has set some Client Access policy - Exchange Active Sync Mailbox Policies to block the internet sharing.
So, you have to ask your Exchange Admin to remove the block policies.
Hello,in my school there is a wi-fi with password and I know that password , but when I connect on that wi-fi and enter the browser , I have to sign in hotspot,but I don't know the username and password of that hotspot. So I want to ask you,is there any app or trick or something to bypass that hotspot.

Just got a new phone, a Samsung S5 Neo and I have a problem.
When I share my mobile connection ( wifi hotspot ) with other devices I can't use the internet on my device, no page is loading.
The devices I share the connection with have all a normal internet connection.
Never noticed this happening before. Is this normal or there is a problem with my phone or the operator?

I did a Hard reset on my Samsung SM-S337TL Luna phone, when I am configuring the phone it asks me to connect to a WIFI network and it does not detect any Wifi network.
The phone is also blocked by google.
I have put several ROMs in the hope that it can detect the WIFI but so far nothing.
I would appreciate a little help.
