S6 Edge Brightness - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So the Galaxy S6 Edge can get up to 600 nits of brightness on auto mode but only around 300 on manual mode. I would like to know if there is any way to get the manual mode to get that high and yes I know it would not be good for my battery. Thanks in advance for your help.

[Q] how to increase maximum brightness more tha factory standard?

Hello! Is there a mode to increase maximum brightness more then factory max (apk. or something for rooted phones). Once I had "neo turbo" installed: great luminosity (hurt the eyes on max)- great speedy rom (i had to change it because the pictures i took were fake coloured) so i changed it with Atomic 3.0 rom- great rom also, great camera quality, ram, space, etc; but i've returned to that standard low brightness. On "neo turbo" rom I didn't even have to max it (used only half the light to be happy). It didnt damaged my phone and the light, contrast seemed almost like an amoled. Thank you in advance!

True Maximum Brightness on Auto-Brightness (higher than 100% manual)

For a lot of phones, auto-brightness can maximally output a higher brightness than the 100% brightness setting available to the user. Auto-brightness can sometimes output 600 nits vs. only 400 nits at 100% manual brightness.
I know this is the case for some phones (samsung Galaxy S5 for sure), but is LG G2 one of them? If so, is it possible to mod the LG G2 so that manual brightness does output the true maximum amount at 100%?
It could be risky and cause overheating, although the G2 already limits the maximum manual brightness when it overheats.

Question Sunlight mode still works after disabling

When I disable sunlight mode, the brightness still increase when in direct sunlight...
Fix?
Edit: It seems sunlight mode is activated when I manual turn brightness up to 100%. If I adjust to lower manual brightness sunlight mode don't work.
For me it is the opposite, my Sunlight mode does not work at all. My Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is from 2021.10 and I cannot read the screen at all in direct sunlight.
Plus it overheats like hell also, the phone is for me not usable outdoors.

Samsung a 52s 90hz ?

hello, is it possible to set the screen refresh for samsung and 52s to 90hz to save the battery a bit and not to 60hz. I tried the Galaxy max hz program, but it probably only works on a 52. Does anyone know if it is possible? greetings. Below is a Screen when I wanted to do galaxy max hz.

Question Does S23U not have processing speed option like S21U did?

Hi, just recently upgraded my S21U to S23U, one setting that was on S21U seems missing from S23U it was called processing speed and could be set to optimised, high or max.
Is this an option that's just not in this new phone, or not needed etc?
Regards
James
In battery you can choose light mode instead. So on stock you have performance and with the light mode (not theme) you can downclock the SoC a bit to save some battery.
You have a setting in the battery section that lower the speed of the processor if you want to save some battery, that's the only thing I've seen so far that meets your request.
