Hello Guys!
I have managed to upgrade my phone from ICS 4.0.4 to JB 4.1.2, but without noticing the Baseband version and Build number. My Baseband version is E160SKSMJH1 while my Build number is JZO54K.E160SKSJMH2. I don't have any problem upgrading, rooting and using the phone except the Menu Button and Back Button doesn't work anymore. My culprit is the difference between the two.
Do you guys think it is because of the difference of baseband and build # as to why my Menu and Back button does not work anymore? Which one should be used to make the buttons work again? Should I upgrade my firmware to JB 4.1.2 MH1? Or change the baseband to MH2?
Your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

First boot into recovery (turn phone off, then press volume down + power button) and a white screen with text will come up. Check the line where it says HBOOT-X.XX.XXXX. If that number is anything bigger than 0.57.0000 then you're NOT good to go. (you'll have to wait till that version is supported)
If it's 0.57, you're good to go and follow attn1's guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=819715
Hi guys, I decided to try the 2.1 modaco custom rom. I am currently on baseband: GAUSB1A135100-EU Build 15609.
I tried the Rom but couldnt get network to come up and FC's all over the place. Then realised I had not changed the baseband
to the recomended one.
I have now sucessfully installed rom 8105 to get the correct baseband but I still have no network and the baseband shows as Unknown
(Im guessing it hasnt changed). Have I missed something?
Any help would be great, And yes I have searched all night for the clues I need but all I could find were guides to change back the other way.
Thanks a million in advance!

Hi everyone,
I just bought an X10 device, and the market I got in it is version 2.09. I've tried to let it opened for up to half an hour but when I shut it down and re-opened, the market was still version 2.09 (the wifi I got was very good, so I think it was not a matter of signals)
I also tried some apk files of Market version 2.3.6 but I cannot install it (got the problem of Parse error)
Is there anyone being able to help me with this weird matter?
Thanks a lot in advance

I just can't figure it out ... I can surf the web just fine but can't make or receive calls at all. I could use a little bit of help with this. I know my SIM works because I also own a Bionic ... I experience no problems at all with calls and sms. The latest update did not resolve, and I experienced this problem prior to rooting. Here are the details:
Android version 2.3.4
Sense version 2.1
Software number 2.11.605.5 (rolled back from update to root)
PRI version 1.41_002, 1.64_002
Baseband version 1.48.00.0906w_1, 0.01.78.0906w_2
Build number 2.11.605.5 CL178661 release-keys
I can provide a logcat if it helps any ... I just want to use my phone again
Thanks in advance!

Because once you upgrade your firmware you can no longer downgrade. So when you flashed 5CPI4 you can only flash firmware that is 5xxxx. You can not downgrade to 4xxxx firmware. They have different modems and bootloaders.
