Hello everyone, today I'm going to teach you how to install this incredible rom created by @JASONRR thank you for your effort, The steps were performed in the OF1 version and (Flashfire v.0.53) version 0.55.1 has problems.
FLASHFIRE INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (OF1 BOOTLOADER USERS):
REQUIRED FILES:

INSTALLATION:
1)Install flashfire v.0.53
2)Open Flashfire and hit the "+" button and select Wipe (Select System Data, 3rd Party Apps, Dalvik and Cache)
3)Hit the "+" button and select "Flash ZIP or OTA"
4)Add Rom WizCyan S6/S7
5)Add WiFi Fix
6)Add WizCyan ADDS S6/S7
7)Hit the "+" button and select "Flash Firmware Pack" and Add "Kernel OF1"
8)Press thunder icon and start installation
TIPS FOR THE INSTALLATION
Leave "Auto-Mount" leave it marked not uncheck.
Set the screen time in 10 minutes so it will not turn off when installing.
In WizCyan Adds try to place what you need do not put things over.
the order of the files can't change position doing so it can be moved only held down the file and colocándole in the order presented below
WIPES
ROM
WIFI FIX
KERNEL
ADDS

Testing this out right now! I'm so happy people are still doing roms for this phone! Even with the stupid bootloader locked. I'll let you know how it works!
This is HANDS DOWN the BEST Touchwiz based rom EVER! Everything is so smooth, and fast. And the ONLY rom for the S4 where Viper4Android works! The only thing I didn't do was check "Auto Mount". I left that unchecked. Everything took about 10 minutes. My S4 feels like a brand new phone. @JASONRR

it should be noted that the addons package is entirely optional you don't need to flash it and I don't recommend using very large aroma installers with flashfire(too much memory consumption for the s4 can lead to crashes and possbile soft bricking),the s4 can't handle the bloat of all the extra samsung garbage anyway

you do not need to download or flash the addons on pack it is optional just beware that the themes settings menu will FC without it but at a little over 1GB of ram free keeping it minimal its worth it
remember the flash order should always be

FIRMWARE (OC1/OF1)
WIFIFIX
KERNEL
Can we confirm that data connects? How would this work on an MDK bootloader? I tried with AIO kernel (since not flashing kernel resulted in yellow triangle.) I got it to boot, but got no data. Appreciate any help, thanks.

Yes working data connect what I do not know if the mdk bootloader works
I see working wifi, but don't see working 3g/LTE. That's what I'm wondering. Any other thoughts on getting it working on mdk bootloader from anyone?

Yes data mobile work very good and not know how do work in bootloader mdk as few have the bootloader

I could not tell you but I think if you use OC1 firmware and OC1 flashable kernel for safestrep would work
It's a theory I would not know if it would work but you can test

Hi OP. Thanks for making available the best rom for my vz s4 without question. BUT, after about an hour's usage, mobile data stops working and I can't get it back. Using OF1. So weird because voice/data/texting works perfectly until mobile data crashes. Even after toggling airplane mode and rebooting I can't get it back. Might it be an APN problem? I'd love to keep using this rom but can't w/o 4g.

May be it's APN problems since I'm not presented with that error
I'm thinking that the method of install should work with any snapdragon S4 Touchwiz 5.0.2 rom from the international S4 forums.
I haven't tried it, has anyone done deep exploring with FlashFire? Or see A reason to object?

Yes it works in all variants of S4 snapdragon my model is i337 and working a the perfection utility this method for mi variant

Yes you are correct, and you can use this alternate method to install that very ROM,
Nevertells2 and I worked hard on the documentation for this method, and there is even

Thanks DoubleStuff! Since I went back from EV to an older TP ROM (JC Sullins 4.4.4) I will "start over" and try your method. I am guessing I will need to find and install the latest TWRP (I went back to an older TWRP 2.7.1.0) ?
Also very curious how you like the DU ROM? Thanks again!!

Yes if you want to install Dirty Unicorn 8.1 all the links are in the link above for ALT METHOD the TWRP, Gapps and ROM...
I have installed the DU ROM 8.1, and took it for a nice test drive, I like it and so far not much lag. I pretty much only watch YouTube videos, I listen to PodCasts and look at Weather Apps. It has a nice clean look, and so far so good.
P.S. Bluetooth does not pair yet, and no camera yet, and the Open Camera app does not work either....
So if your happy with KitKat 4.4 and don't have another TP, then I would stick with 4.4 because like Nevertells2 always says, "...I always end up back to KitKat...", but maybe once Dirty Unicorns gets bluetooth and camera working this 8.1 ROM might have potential because its it the low Ram "GO" version....

excellent work I have three days with the rom and all good, the bar wifi does not indicate intensity but I improve and it is very stable the camera remains the same as far as the use in streaming to improved is impeccable in you tube if I observe that it is necessary to optimize the kernel and manage an internal cleaner of the ram just that excellent job
excelente trabajo tengo tres dias con la rom y todo bien, la barra wifi no indica intensidad pero mejoro y es muy estable la cmara sigue igual en cuanto al uso en streaming a mejorado es impecable en you tube si observo que hay que optimizar el kernel y gestionar un limpiador interno de la ram solo eso excelente trabajo

DU ROM 8.1 has an address for the download file of agradesco updates, it is excellent for your first job, but I do not know if we already have an update in March

I'm using the 8.1 daily 8.1 Dirty Unicorn 8.1 and is the most stable in 8.1 or 8 is the best I can only say that this is missing blueto, camera and the wifi icon, I would like to optimize the kernel and take the nuclei to options Optimal equilibrium and have the latest default video codex is a great job I am very happy and congratulate Dirty Unicorn is impeccable excelnete can improve at the moment load the version with several opengap options 8.1 even full digue package being the best nano option but fucniona with another given more space in system I think if you give the double cache in space instead of 200 goes better

Flash it as usual, right after the ROM. If you've already flashed the ROM, just flash the kernel over it.

I have found this through an experiment...When I use the below clean install alternate method to install the 8.1 ROM....

It seems to work but when doing the Android initialization setup, putting in Internet password, then gmail password...then after the last step I get the error posted below. This has happened to me on 2 Touchpads, but when I leave out
SKZ-tenderloin-kernel-DU-o8x-caf_03_17_2018.zip then it flashes fine, and it seems like I can then flash this after everything is setup.
Any comments on this ShumashG ?

Camera (in clear port work, but i broke them if port to be final condition i'll fix)
Sound (Fix, but sound work with some bugs, idk how to describe, it needs to be heard)

It's test build, and idk how to fix that bugs, i have already tried almost everything...
First loading take a 5mins or more

Awesome ??
OK so I tried it twice, it does work with the aforementioned bugs. However, after going back to stock it doesn't reboot properly. It will go into twrp every time and I have to go into "reboot" then "bootloader" for it to actually boot my f3213. This is after a full reflash, boot.img, recovery.img factory reset etc...

Need a have a full twrp backup, with additional files: cache,boot,data,protect_s,protect_f and others.. Full backup of system. After a full restore i not have any problems with my telephone

The phone works fine otherwise, I almost never reboot so it's really not a problem, just another bug to point out

I'm now have a CM13 (Port from Xperia XA) If u want i upload him, but bug same on XA, SIM and other. I'll try port lineage 14.1 but not try 13 14.1 not working for me
I'll give it a go for sure. I'm more familiar with porting vanilla android so if ya share what ya got hopefully I can find time by the weekend to try and help get it running

Developement has been stoped, because idk how fix the ril, and no one help with this. Anyway i'm bought a new device

Port the vermee mars rom I was the first one to have a working custom rom on it. You can find the topic yourself. I ditches that phone so never continued to work on it. Vermee mars worked.

Tahsin merhaba. Senin dediğin Romu indirdim ama nasıl kullanılacağı ile ilgili en ufak bir bilgim yok. Kitaplarımın arasında bulduğum bu cihazı kullanılabilir yapmak istiyorum ama hiç birsey bilmiyorum. Root ve twrp kısmı tamam ama rom fly dedigimiz romu yükledim ve imei ses sorunu var. Hala buralardaysan yardım bekliyorum.

I saw in this forum https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/xiaomi-mi-9-se-eu-rom.49654/ that this Rom has some problem, in your opinion it is goog or did you find the same problems?

I'm waiting the bootloader unlock countdown to expire and then I will try xiaomi.eu rom. I read that global rom is less optimized than china rom respect to battery duration and I'm worried that with all bugs actually present in global rom (for example notifications text in dark mode) they didn't realeased yet any official update

How it works the xiaomi.eu firmware? Tomorrow my countdown expire and I will unlock bootloader, I'm thinking to flash xiaomi.eu fw in order to have miui always updated.

True. It is totally insane. For what reason? If it will void the warranty, we dont care. Coz we unlock it by our choice.
Mi 9 SE twrp is out?
Yes, TWRP for Mi9 SE is available since End of March it's by MiuiItalia and can be found here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397926854 .. Sadly, Backup & Restore isn't working, yet. But format, flash etc is working without problems.
There is another TWRP going around, but that didn't even started for me at all.
I have installed this Xiaomi.EU v9.4.18 Rom on my Mi9 SE (Global Version) yesterday and played/tested a while. I'm very happy, everything is working flewlessly. As well, I've installed Magisk 19.0 (Beta) for Root - what a dream to have a Phone without Ads again and with some tricks, Google Pay is still available!
At least, one little Bug I've found in this Rom: the Auto-Brightness is going crazy, but only sometimes..? Weird..

Is possible to flash the ROM using fastboot twrp boot or flash twrp is needed?

Seeing the horrible job Xiaomi is doing lately with other phones (horribly buggy updates), you just scared the sh*** out of me. Disabling auto-update right away!

You can simply debloat of all unwanted apps by adb disabling packages, no root requited
I don't use Netflix and I don't see any difference in battery compared to previous QFJEUXM 11.0.5
After using it for 3 days, I found this update an improvement for me. MiBand notifications now work. Nova badges now work. No more random "error" messages popping up. I have no issues with battery life and Netflix looks fine.

Unfortunately for me, mi band issue still present and battery drain still present too
Nothing changes for android system battery consumption.

Well... I finally took the plunge and... All great!
A few bugs fixed, no problems with battery, and a specific updated file that's just what I needed (specific to Movistar/O2 Spain).

I'm currently having issues with the latest update, youtube starts freezing up. Clearing the cache fixed the issue but it came back after a day.

I did when updating from 11.0.4 to 11.0.5 QFJEUXM (must be the same for QFJMIXM).
I had Magisk Canary but with Stable must be the same, too
Differential OTA update (0.57 GB or so) failed (probably because the zip does not contain boot.img and the Boot was patched by Magisk), so I forced full OTA (2.24 GB).
That way you loose TWRP (if you had) and root but when you patch and flash the new boot.img (available in 11.0.5 2.24 GB full OTA recovery/zip package), you have Magisk back with all its modules and settings
But you can also flash the full OTA (2.24 GB) recovery/zip package from TWRP. In that case you will maybe keep TWRP (or Orange Fox), although it's not a deal to flash it again upon updating to 11.0.5.
About the Magisk will be the same (patch your new boot image and flash it through Fastboot or TWRP to regain Magisk)
Of course, your apps, settings and data will be preserved by updating to 11.0.5 (even if taking full 2.24 GB OTA package instead of the small 0.57 GB blockota/differential OTA package as OTA offers by default)
