Lets Find LTE Solution! Sprint Only - Cyanogenmod Based Roms - E 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Lets find a lte fix for the sprint version of the moto e 2015 lte! Any ideas are welcome. I would love to see a solution for this, with sprint. As of now, lte doesn't work on the xt1526, on any custom rom i have tried, (cyanogen based roms). Seems they all share the same lte bug for the xt1526 sprint version. Any solutions or help would be appreciated!

Um...I don't believe this belongs here, this isn't development... This should be in general I believe

I apologize for posting in the wrong spot. You said there were roms that had this issue sorted? Which ones? All due respect.

NONE of the ROMs have the LTE issue sorted. Sprint,Boost and Virgin all are affected. I've written to dev after dev about this, they never answer me or just say it will be sorted out...its aggravating to say the least!

Sorry for the wait. Here is the post I wrote in Cricket forum. Let me know how it goes.
I didn't use QPST. I used DFS CDMA Tool, the demo works fine for writing the Cricket settings. I wasn't able to find where to write the min in that program so I used CDMA Tools 2.7 for that. Hope that helps guys. Ill be making a tutorial soon if somebody doesn't beat me to it. If you guys need more help let me know.

New T-Mobile radio pulled from galaxy note.(needed)

We are at&t galaxy note users that are on Tmobiles network and we need the new Tmobile radio to make the at&t note work better and maybe fully on the HSDPA network at 42 Mbps and not 24 Mbps that we currently are using. Please devs if you can post it. A lot of us can use our phones without the unstable radios we are currently on. Thank you

He reports that the tmobile radio did not fix the problem. He'll try something else tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Rotohammer? Did he start a thread? did he tried whole whole rom or only the radio?
You are a near neighbor to Rotohammer. He hails from NJ.
I have a Rotohammer. It makes drilling concrete fun!
Modem is actually a contraction of words. . . or is it an acronym? I forget. Modular something or other.
Ok, get the drift? None of this also has anything to do with rom development.

He is continuing this thread-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30019455#post30019455
And I did notice he hails from NJ!
He has a tmo note. Not sure exactly what he did. He said something about swapping antennas tomorrow to see if that does the trick. So he must have a tmo and an att note.
this shouldnt be in development section unless you were posting the actual radio for users.

FYI: MODEM = MOdulator - DEMoulator...

[Stock Kernel-1/11/13] - L7 Base - Fixes Exynos exploit! With / Without Boot Anim!

This is the kernel from the L7 stock international base.
Its rooted with init.d support.
This is fixes the Exnyos exploit.
Should be flashable on all variants.
Updated 1/11/13 - Add option for boot animation support
bootanimation.zip goes in /system/media
Download HERE
Hit Thanks!
thanks
Thanks appreciate it.
No Problem!
Let me know how it goes. I have not tested it on VZW yet but it should work with any of my ROMS and Beans ROM. Basically any stock based ROM.
Is this the same kernel inside the latest ace rom (4.05)?

The one without boot animation in the name.
OK....here I go......
Edit: OK....got it installed. Seems all is well. Just ran quadrant and got 100 points less than average.....but that could be a number of factors and isn't noticeable anyway.
PS: something new.....for quite awhile now when I would tap into a thread or post to a thread then exit, xda would totally shut down as would others forums with the same format.
It didn't do that when I just posted here. Weird?????

Its pretty much the bridge between hardware and software. Software/Kernel/Hardware. As simple as I can make it.

Thanks for this. I just flashed the Unsecure Boot Image - L7 Base - Anim Support.zip in TWRP. I still have Chainfire's app installed and it's showing the Exploit is still exploitable, is that normal?
I do have a new Nexus looking boot animation. My Kernel Version shows as:
3.0.31-679347
[email protected] #1
SMP PREEMPT Wed Dec 26 10:26:24 KST 2012
Do I have the updated kernel with the exploit patched?

L4 stock kernel?

I've searched high and low but I can't seem to find a flashable zip of the stock L4 kernel. Anyone know where I can find it?
Thanks in advance!

The only kernel on the thread is the L7 one by Scott.. International version.. I've used it a few times not on Eclipse.. Perseus kernel is a winner in my book.. I recently flashed latest version and left it with no tweaks.. Drain is slow.. Haha

[Q] Droid Razr xt912 w/ t-mobile?

Hello Everyone,
Is possible to use the Razr xt912 with T-mobie USA? If is possible, what Rom should I use? I was reading about GSM patch but I'm not 100% clear. Can someone help?
Thanks
I think it is not possible to use with t-mobile carrier because xt912 released only with VZW and that patch is for converting gsm ROM into the cdma .
That patch will not work to unlock the phone for any network
Thanks!!
Please hit the thanks button if i helped ya in anyways !!!

No, You cannot AFAIK. You can use XT912 on any GSM carrier outside US. But in the US, you can only use it on Verizon.
The only way I see it possible is getting your phone unlocked by VZW itself.
