Stock Recovery - LG G Watch

I'm on stock, non-rooted LCA43 with TWRP installed. I'd like to fastboot stock recovery, and relock boatload so I can sell this device and upgrade. Problem, I'm struggling to find stock recovery.
Anyone have it handy?
Thanks in advance!

Files I needed were found HERE. I have fastbooted and now ready to go.

Can't get them to work. Side load in TWRP won't recognize my watch. ADB works fine when booted into the OS, and fastboot recognizes the device. It would be so much simpler to just fastboot the files, then fight with TWRP and ABD. I have a copy of the OTA, not sure what files to pull from it to flash. I know that commands, just need the right files. Thanks though!

Need help, no os on Nexus, only TWRP

As mentioned I stupidly wiped everything on my nexus 4 and now only have Team win recovery project left. No os. I tried to adb push, but it gave me a protocol failure and I saw a solution with fastboot, but I don't seem to have that either.
I have tried a lot of things I found on similar threads, but none worked for me. I don't have the knowledge to try anymore. Your help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you very much.
I'm not familiar with your phone. But can you flash it to stock using odin?

What is Odin? Sorry I know very little about this
So basically the problem is I have no rom on my phone so I cannot flash anything. I would need to get the files onto my phone.

How did you get TWRP on it without odin?
Odin is for Samsung, don't bother trying on your n4
Right now you need to sideload a ROM (+gapps usually)
Boot to recovery, choose sideload
Then use adb to sideload the ROM from your pc
Or you can always use fastboot to flash the ROM as well

Thanks I just tried sideload. And I get a protocol fault somewehere between 0 and 40% of de procces. I looked around but I cannot seem to get to recognize my phone with "adb fastboot" how exactly should I do that?
after trying every setting and driver sideload somehow worked. Thanks sooooo much:
You made me a happy man!

if your s-on you forgot to take the boot.img from the rom and flash it via fastboot
Edit: Only use boot.img from the rom your gonna install....make sure you read proper method in first few posts from developer as there is instructions to make your phone work properly
Yes, you need to flash the boot image if you are S-ON...
But save the headaches and don't even bother flashing a ROM from your installed recovery (you really don't even need to install a custom recovery at all), all you need is the "recovery.img" from the recovery ZIP file of choice, although I currently recommend TWRP, in your adb directory and the ROM on your SD card then...
1) Reboot into Hboot and start Fastboot, connect PC
2) Type "fastboot boot recovery.img" and wait a minute for the Recovery to start on the phone
3) Wipe as per normal for installing a ROM
4) Install/Flash ROM zip as per normal
5) Reboot and enjoy!

It's worth going S-Off if you are going to flash very often at all... makes it so much easier to just flash one file and done.
It seems scary, but if you follow the instructions, it's not bad at all. I've done it twice now.
Also, you will have to flash a stock rom first (it's been done on other rom's, but ymmv... its safest to go stock before s-off).
I am stock newest ics

You can do it from custom roms too, from what I've seen, but since you are stock, that is perfect

Did you have to pay for the app. The Release version is giving me Parse Error when I try to install it.

I just used the release version the other day to update my CWM. Try downloading the APK again, usually parse error means a bad file. Try a different browser to download it.
Flashify also works well...

Easiest and most stable/reliable way for.me is to use the terminal emulator to flash the recovery image. If you want directions tell me. Its super easy

1) move the recover image to the root of your internal sd card (use es file manager preferably)
2) rename the recovery image recovery.img
3) open terminal emulator
4) type su then hit enter
5) type flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img and hit enter
6) youre all done.
Thanks bro learned something new

WiFi stuck at "Turning On"

Today my DNA said the Wi-Fi was "turning on" and it just hangs there. It never actually turns on or connects to a wireless network. I have tried rebooting the phone, shutdown, using airplane mode, etc. Even did a factory reset and it's still doing the same thing.
I tried "WiFi fixer" from the Play Store, that didn't help either.
Phone has always been stock, no root.
Any suggestions?
Turn off fastboot and reboot. Then see if it works. If not only option might be to restore to factory settings.

I tried turning off fast boot but I will try it again.
Already did a factory reset. I'm on the stock Android version as we speak.

No I have not. I've yet to dive into Rooting and different ROMs on smartphones.
Got a link?

The ruu won't root or put a custom rom on your phone. The ruu will erase your phone completely and put it back to the way it came out of the box on the stock rom. In your case it will be the newest update that's the ruu I suggest using. It's very easy to do just follow the instructions on the computer screen. Hopefully it can fix the issue if it doesn't it probably hardware related and if that's the case and your within your one year warranty try and get a replacement. But we can cross that bridge when we get there. For now get the newest ruu which is 3.0.6 I believe from here.

That is the direct download link. The ruu needs to be run on a Windows computer I recommend Windows 7 and have the phones drivers installed for it to work properly.
This is the thread where it's located on xda.

I can't get the CLI commands to run. I installed the Android SDK. Is there something else I need to do? I'm in "Fastboot USB" mode.

Is there a specific error that the ruu gives. I'm not familiar with what your referring to. Did you follow instructions in the thread I linked? Are your drivers installed for your phone?

Hey guys, after flashing the firmware and the RUU twice using the link provided the Wi Fi is working but it's still acting a little funky here and there. Earlier this morning, the phone rebooted when I tried to turn on Wi Fi. After it booted up, I was able to turn Wi Fi on/off several times and it worked perfectly.
Any chance that putting cyanogenmod or something on there would fix these intermittent glitches?
What would I do for a bootloader and root?
Newbie here, did some reading last night but there's so much.
If you look in the original development thread you will find it. Go to the website download the one for the DNA and then follow the guide. Once you achieve soff you need to flash a custom recovery. I recommend the twrp 2.6 beta it seems to work when flashing all the kit Kat roms I haven't tried 2.7 yet but if your feeling adventurous you can try that to. To flash a recovery you need to put your phone in fastboot and then use the command fastboot flash recovery and then you have your recovery on your phone. Then you can flash what you want. If you want to do this and need any help direct message me and I can help you out.

Installing TWRP Over CWM

Does anyone have a quick write up of how to do this? I have an HTC one and I have been running the Insert Coin roms, but now the new roms require TWRP and I dont want to end up with a bricked phone.

Easiest way is to install GooManager > Grant SuperUser access > Menu > Install OpenRecovery Script > Confirm > Wait for it to download & finish.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.s0up.goomanager
http://teamw.in/project/twrp2 > It's explained here, along with the other methods. Just click on the Get TWRP for Your Device box at the top right and put in HTC One, then make sure to pick the right one. The recoveries are different between manufacturers and the M7/M8, obviously.
Pretty hard to brick install recovery on these things.
I would suggest just using fastboot, fastest and safest method
fastboot flash recovery nameofrecovery.img

That's my preferred way to do it too, but TWRP themselves have the app install as their preferred way on their site.
So does clockwork and 4ext but I prefer fastboot. Choice is for the user I guess

Indeed. Another reason to suggest the app as it is more friendly to the timid ones.
It really does pay to get familiar with both fastboot commands and adb though, if you plan to mod your phone. At least to make sure that the drivers are loaded in worst case scenarios.
As far as I understand it, CWM or TWRP run in temporary partitions and in the RAM, much like boot tools on a PC such as Pmagic.
I started off with CWM via Odin on the PC and have since managed everything from there. I tried out TWRP by using a flashable zip in CWM, rebooted the usual way via the gui, tried out TWRP, then flashed CWM back and everything is fine.
It seems to me there is no danger and you just flash it the way you would a custom firmware. Plus you can back up and restore your recovery using either CWM or TWRP. In my short experience with it so far, you don't need an app, just flash and be happy. But always remember to have a backup or the original zip in case you wish to go back.
And if somehow you do mess something up (I guess it happens sometimes), make sure you have the right md5 to reflash in Odin. Simple. Just never delete anything you could need again.
