As the title states, one of my application does not show up in the application list after installation. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling them again but the problem remains. I could just flash my phone again and it might solve the problem since i was working fine before.
SO is this problem random or does anyone have this issue as well?
The application in question is Note Everything Pro 1.20.
Cheers~
Hi all, I have a real strange problem I cannot underststand.
Since two or three days, my S3 has been freezing every few minutes.
I restored factory settings and installed latest italian original firmware without root or anything.
I powered it up and, after having logged in to Google during the initial setup, my Phone freezes.
I thought it was a hardware problem, but, after trying and trying, I discovered that if I toggle off Syncing, everything works fine.
Any idea?
I am going to try a custom rom, because I cannot really understand the problem.
My stock is: I9300XXEMA2_I9300ITVEMA1_ITV
TIA

did you try to switch off certain parts that are synced (e.g. contacts, calendar etc.) to isolate the problem?
Yes, it could be caused by Picasa... but not sure at all

well try to deactivate only Picasa and see, maybe it tries to sync all pictures and you got too many to bear?
I tried, no success
Try clearing Google services framework data, and all Google app data, or remove Google account and wipe cache/dalvik then add account again

I've got the exact problem, but since I turned sync off (by the pulling-down menu) my SGS3 has managed to stay on for an hour without freezing. The very minute I turn sync on, it freezes again, and it does'nt matter what I'm doing at that moment, if I'm browsing the internet och just flipping around in the settings or using the Play store.
Samsung says they havn't heard of this before..
Have you tried the custom ROM?
Here is how solved.
I added the google account. I pressed "cancel" while it was syncing.
Then I deactivated Sync with Picasa and Google+ Photo.
Moreover I clicked "Settings -> Apps -> All Apps -> Gallery -> Clear Data".
In my gallery, now, I only see Camera Photos... everything is working fine.
Let me know if it works for you.
P.S. Custom ROMS I tried did not have this problem.

Hey guys, weird issue: my "My Apps" tab in the Google Play store won't show up. It just loads and loads and never appears. I also can't download new apps (they just "download" forever with zero progress), and I can't install them remotely from my desktop either.
I've tried wiping caches (all of em, many times, in many combinations), and factory restores -- those help for a while but the issue always returns. I've tried deleting my account and readding it, the works.
I upgraded to 4.3 by flashing the Nordic build, and then rooting that (unlocked bootloader). That's (as best as I can recall) when the issue arose.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Is there a best way to just completely zero out the tablet, and then flash fresh clean firmware (preferably that is rootable)?
Thanks a ton for any help, I'm really at a loss here.
Hi everyone.
Since sunday, my GS5 (SM-G900T) keeps crashing all the apps and services, like google play services, touchwiz, whatsapp (i've had to restore it inumerous times), calendar, keyboard and others.
I downgraded to 4.4 kitkat and the problem is still there. I upgraded back to lollipop 5.0, and even when i was about the begin the initial setup, appeared the message, "unfortunatelly, setup has stopped". This message appears to various apps that keep crashing.
I think it's some kind of virus, but it's not in my SD Card (i formatted), it's not in my device storage. Is there any possibility of a virus in the batterry or any other part of the GS5?
I'm kinda desperate here, does anyone know what is this and how to solve it?
Thanks.
Have you cleared your user data using stock recovery?

Do you mean the wipe/factory reset via recovery? I did that and wiped the cache partition either. Another issue i just noticed is that my device is overheating. Since I started typing this, touchwiz crashed 3x, Samsung keyboard once, and rebooted 2x.
Hi;
Problem is related to the Google search (both Widget and the one in the browser inside Android).
Recently, attempting do search anything in Google search Widget resulted in strange exit from it to the main Android screen. It just closes itself without any error message.
Android version is 5.1.
Later, few steps were done to fix the issue. First, data and cache deleted at application management. It did not fix the issue. Then, software factory reset, did not fix it. And attempt with hardware factory reset did not fix it. Google search Widget just disappears every time anything is being entered there (again, both Widget and in Browser).
More precise, after factory reset, Google search (initial, factory version) works, then immediately after autoupdate (connection to Internet to new version it stops working again.
It is happening on Meizu, OS Flyme, Android 5.1.
There may be some conflict related to Google Search, newer version and OS, that version.
Have to ask if anybody experienced similar issues - is there a possibility to resolve it? Thank you.
