HI all i have rooted my phone XPERIA Z3 COMPACT lollipop 5.1.1 by downgrading it to kitkat 4.4.4 23.0.A.2.93 and all is work fine but i nned an answer as soon as ppossible ((( they told me to update to 23.0.1.A.5.77 ))
MY QUESTION IS ---- IF I UPDATE IT TO 23.0.1.A.5.77 can i root it again ?? can this version be rooted ?? ))

Flash a Pre-rooted stock rom is currently the only way
Search before post and open a new thread with this kind of questions and i start to think some of you dont do that and just are lazy !
Check the Xperia Z2 Android Developement and flash a 4.4.4 pre-rooted zip in Recovery !!

When I update I had enabled survival mode in supersu... Root still working after upgrade.. so you could downgrade and then root, survival mode and upgrade

Question i have a new z2 with the 580 Firmware, and now i look for Solutions how i can install root/costum Rom.
is possible to root 580 Firmware ? or downgrade ? when YES How?
after root can i install a costum Firmware over CWM or somthing (Bootloader LOCKED) ?
pls help me (expirience 5 Years Samsung, but first time with sony)

If its android 5.1.1 then you will need to downgarde to 5.0.2 or better 4.4.2 by downloading ftf firmwaire files and then flashing it by using flashtool then you can easily root, install NUT dual recovery and then can flash any pre rooted 5.1.1 ROM from development section
