As i mentioned from the title my recovery menu appearing and disappearing every 3-4 second. Menu shows him self 3-4 second and blinking and showing again.
The problem was maybe virus. Because when i plug the phone for charge, sometimes it was discharging. And next boot-up told me your phone encrypted and need to be factory reset. And there was a button to reset phone from system. I clicked and now recovery menu even not opening. Seems i need some help :crying:
Edit: I was using Resurrection rom 5.4.9 Android 5.1.1
I'd suggest finding your original service provider rom and flash it using odin. This should wipe it and put it back to factory. Then re-install from there.
Thank you for answer, i will do it today.

My phone was running at about 60% battery last night, and working fine. It was in my pocket and it vibrated. I was unable to turn it on or reboot it, even after removing the battery. I tried using the battery from my wife's S2 but still no luck. I tried connecting the power supply but it still wouldn't boot so I left it charging overnight.
This morning it alternately flashed a fully green battery and a fully black battery. If I press and hold the power button it starts the boot process - I get past the Samsung splash screen and see the first "Resurrection Remix" splash screen, but then it reverts to displaying the green battery.
Any ideas for how I can revive the phone??

Ok We cant say its bricked!! Because its booting up but not coming to homescreen rite? Are u able to get into recovery or download mode?? If ur able o then wipe the data cache and dalvik cache, reinstall the ROM again.. If Recovery doesnt shw up.. Then Use ODIN to flash original fw!! Even if u still couldn get it.. Order a USB JIG from Ebay and try getting into DOWNLOAD MODE!! Even after this its still working means ITS BRICKED !!
Start download mode and the flash a new stock firmware . And your phone isnt bricked .!
This is why I always make a backup.
If you can get into download mode you can fix it, if you can't it's a service centre job. Pretty simple really.
Try cleaning charging port..

Uh oh...I managed to get into Recovery mode, did a factory reset and kicked off a re-install of the Resurrection Remix ROM from the external SD and it's hung at 50% (for 10 mins now) - at the "Extracting /system..." stage. I daren't interrupt it.
Any ideas???
Yes stop messing
1: If you dint have to save anything, wipe better to full wipe
Flash a stock Rom using Odin, than start again with custom roms.
OR
2: download your custom Rom again and flash, might be corrupt download.

So it's OK to interrupt this ROM flash, even though it's stuck at 50%? Should I just hold the power button or remove the battery??
pull the battery
But I say flash stock Rom first, lengthy procedure I know, but safer
OK I decided to reflash RR 2.3, which had been running fine for a couple of weeks previously. Immediately after flashing (which worked OK) the boot process wouldn't complete - it got as far as the RR splash screen then died (screen blank, and needed a long press on the power button to restart).
This happened several times. Eventually I removed and replaced the battery and it finally booted.
Does this sound like a hardware problem? I've noticed that the phone often runs quite warm, but I don't know if that's normal.
You have to flash stock rom, only way to know if there is something wrong with your phone, run it for couple days.
Now to the heat issue, it is due to
1: modem
2: kernel
3: both
Hi All,
I woke up in the morning to check the time and found the screen off. (Which was ok just ten min before when alarm was buzzing.). I was confused why the device power button was not responding which was ok ten mins ago.
I tried restart it by long pressing power button. And was happy to see the normal boot and lock screen. I opened the lock screen and in the notification appeared "Preparing USB, checking for errors.", and then in about 10 seconds, the phone got frozen. I restarted many times by removing external SD, sim , etc but no use. Tried even connecting to PC, but didnt even detect.
Frustrated and then went to recovery mode (vol up+power+home) and "deleted cache data" . And checked , but no use. Now I have tried to factory reset from recovery mode (vol up+power+home). Now the android symbol appeared and then on the " Installing applications " screen, the device gets struck.
I went to Samsung service center, those guys informed it might be software prob and installed afresh, but no use the same happens. the service guy says software loading passed successfully but bo use. Screen stops at the same point " Installing applications " .
The service center guy says that my motherboard is gone...
Unfortunately just completed by warranty period also...
Any help anybody....:crying:
(Its was having ICS 4.0.4 of middle east version before this damage. I have not done any sort of tampering in terms of software or any external damages or drop down...)..pls guide...never even tried rooting stuff.. It was quite strange for me, with such a baby care, its gone forever...:crying:

Thank you for your reply. Informed your suggestions to service center also.
The service center guy has informed that by doing some experiments, he could recover the phone, except one problem. That is the media scanning never ends and the galary doesnt open.
Any suggestions.
Hey guys,
I just upgraded to Revolution HD 32.0 (coming from 31.0).
Here's what i did.
Boot into recovery.
Clear cache+dalvic-cache.
Install zip from sd-card (select revolution hd 32.0)
Started Aroma installer, left everything pretty much default, just removed some of the samsung junk.
After the install was finished i cleared the cache again and rebooted the device.
It started with the start up logo and after a minute or so "Android upgrading..." with the applications counting.
After that it shows "Finishing boot"
Then nothing, it stays at that for like 5 minutes, then reboots and stays stuck at the samsung logo.
So i decided to boot into recovery, whipe caches and fix permissions and reboot again.
Same thing happened as before.
So i wanted to do a full clean install of the rom, wiping all userdata.
Surprise! Can't get into recovery or download mode anymore.
Took out battery for a few minutes and put it back in.
Still can't access download mode or recovery with vol+menu+pwr...
Does anyone know what's going on, or better, how i can possibly fix this?
I have no idea how to access my device now to make changes...
Thanks a lot!
If you can't get into bootloader with vol down, home and power button then you have a brick, service centre repair required.
Worth trying a USB repair jig to get download before paying for a repair .

My device details: SGS3 T999, rooted, running Jellybean 4.3 on a liquid smooth ROM. Its a year old and has been a solid performer up until now.
My device is stuck in a cycle where it gives a quick vibrate, then SGS3 splash screen with white letters, then black screen, then tiny blue "Recovery booting..." words in upper left of screen, then black screen with couple vibrations, and around and around it goes in the same repeating cycle.
Just before it started I had taken the following actions: Dumped the following 2 files onto my EXTSD card (cm-11-20131217-NIGHTLY-d2tmo.zip, gapps-kk-20131119.zip) from my PC, booted phone into recovery mode using TWRP, did a factory reset wipe (success), cache wipe (success), dalvik cache wipe (success), flashed the NIGHTLY file (failed), flashed the gapps file (failed). At this point I should have sought some support. Fool! I next did a reboot step still in recovery mode. Without the reboot happening a message came up stating Superuser permission had been broken (the best I can remember) and the option to have TWRP repair the permission. I opted "yes" to repair. Then the loop started that I can't escape.
I have pulled the battery multiple times, tried a regular boot up, tried a recovery boot up (up volume+power+home) dropping the home button after a few seconds. Nothing is working. Prior to the above steps I backed up everything on the device. So I have backups to use if it can be done. My best guess is that I failed to update my CyanogenMod or TWRP to the very latest versions and it caused this hang up. Otherwise, I don't know what to do and need any help I can get.
Has anyone had this issue or heard of anyone who has and have any helpful suggestions, tips, ideas, etc..?
Thank you in advance. This is my first XDA post. Please forgive and offer tips if this thread needs any scrubbing.
I've had a few similar events for a few different reasons.
I would suggest booting into recovery but it seems you have tried that already.
If the device is plugged into a wall or pc, unplugg it, that has seemed to cause and fix boot issues for me before.
Other than that, I dunno, if you can't get to recovery or fastboot, I dunno...
Hi,
i'll try to explain the problem.
I use the Galaxy s6 SM-G925T and wanted to reset to factory defaults. The phone is in original state. So no custom rom, not rooted or any other modifications. The Battery has been replaced because the old battery had to be charged every 4 hours. Because the new battery does not lives much longer (maybe 6 hours) i wanted the factory reset.
First using the volume-up home and power button, i've choosen wipe cache / factory reset
Down the bottom of the screen was a text : No Support SINGLE-SKU - Supported API: 3 - dm-verify error
I continued and wiped the data
The system returned "Data wipe complete"
After the phone rebooted the system restarted, only to show the blinking SAMSUNG text.
I left the phone blinking for about 1 hour, nothing happened.
So i loaded the official systemfile : CF-Auto-Root-zerolte-zeroltexx-smg925f.tar
using Odin3_v3.14.1 i was able to flash it onto the phone.
After rebooting now the red android puppet showed up and the cf-auto-root program fnished without errors but the phone still wont start
Is the phone bricked or is it still possible to restore factory defaults and get the phone back to work ?
Thanx for all the helpfull answers !!
