Hı Guys
I've tried almost all ROMs for Xperia ray on the phone. But none except cm12 legaxyxperi to 480p video on YouTube could follow .
I watched the other ROM max 360p .
The problem stems from what you think .
Gapps , Kernel, data storage
Many thanks for yours ideas

Hi developers ,
i m unable to troubleshoot a bug i m facing very often !
In every custom roms, in youtube app official or ogyoutube both, my qualtiy option is locked on 144p only, i have to manually set it to 720p every single time i use the app.
on stock rom Auto quality option works flawlessly.
how to fix this ? also in stock rom i get 480p too but it is also missing on custom roms.
Additional- most of custom roms i use are of clone of my device but i dont think it made so much difference .
Thanks in Advance.
Hi guys, first thanks for helping. :good:
Well,I've installed the Omni ROM 5.1 of Teamwin, all is working well, less the videos, than that don't run video on the Browser, and the self video player of the mobile. I've tried to install an other video player, but don't work anyway.
The model of the phone is : GT-i1900

Are you using the latest version of omni rom? I'm afraid that the developer stopped giving updates for our phone, so it would be best to move to different rom like cm12.1 if possible.
The problem is with the hardware decoder not working on our device, it is falling back to software but even the fallback is failing. Cm12.1 has this fixed and so videos work fine.

I had the same issue too. I read it on the PE page on XDA in the replies section that all we have to do is flash to ROM again. Nothing else, don't even wipe anything, just flash the zip again from TWRP. Also, make sure you have the latest Android Q firmware.
Did you try it?
And how to download the latest Android Q firmware!
If your problem is gone let me know.
Thank you:good:
