Hi is there a way to overcome the 32GB SD card limit? If so, how do you do it?
Thanks.
I was using sandisk class10 64GB msd, which was formatted to fat32, and was running on my redmi note 3G, redmi note 4G, redmi 2 prime and redmi note 2 prime without any problems.

Hello. Have you encountered a read/write speed limitation using your SD card in your Redmi Note 2? I can't get speeds above 10MB/s read and 11MB/s write. Someone on a MIUI forum said Xiaomi had started limiting speeds via kernel settings. Any idea about all this?
I had a 64gb card in exFAT format, the stock miui ROM didn't recognize it and I had to format it to ext4 using the RedMi Note 2 Tool from the Playstore, now I have no problem with it.

change out your SD card for a class 4 or faster card and your problems should go away.
change out your SD card for a class 4 or faster card and your problems should go away. You can contact tmobile for a new SD card
So I bought 2 sd cards, 16GB class 4 sandisk and a 16GB class 10 transcend.
SD tools shows 5mbps write/13mbps read for the sandisk & 14mbps write/ 20mbps read for transcend.
Now on mounting the phone sd card on pc & transferring large file (for best possible xfer speed) , for both cards, the max speed I am getting is near around 5MBps.
If I connect the same sd cards via adaptor to pc , the xfer speeds are similar to what is shown in SD Tools.
Is this normal and all phone usb connectors are this poor quality? Or is it just me and I should change something / get phone to a service center?
im getting the same problem. i just did a nandroid backup to my 16 gb SD card and it took 40 mins!
I have been using a 32GB Class 4 SD card since I got the HAM2 which had a write speed of about 6MB/s. Today, I got a new 64GB U3 SD card with 90MB/s read speed and 60MB/s write speed, as verified by CrystalDiskMark. However, I noticed that the read/write speeds of the SD card when used in the phone was not as fast as I was expecting. I did a benchmark test with A1 SD Bench and got about 20MB/s for both read and write. I tried the same sd card on my mum's 2014 cheap samsung phone and got the advertised speed. Has anyone noticed this ? Can anyone here do a SD benchmark test to check if the HAM2 has a max read/write speed of about 20MB/s.
Good Day !
I have bought a Redmi Note 4 X - 4 GB RAM & 64 GB Internal Memory on end of July 2017.
My issue is when I put two SIM cards on slots I am not getting VOLTE facility on phone, but if I put one SIM card VOLTE facility is available too. I tried to change SIM card on both slots and result was same. VOLTE enabled and disabled Switch of and switch on tried that way also but not getting facility. Please advise

VoLTE is supported in both the slots however only 1 can be active at any time. Generally SIM 1 supports VoLTE. However, in your case it seems like a MIUI software switch issue. Make a backup of the data and perform a factory data reset. If the problem persist, reach out to your nearest Mi Service as i believe you still in your warranty.
almost all the Redmi Note 4X got issue about not getting VoLTE when used both sim slots, tried clean flashing but the problem persist. Any idea on how to set it work?
Hello I have a question. Is it true that you can not simultaneously insert 2 SIM cards and an SD card?
Yes, it is true. Pocophone could use either two nano SIM cards or one nano SIM card and one SD card.
You could use two SIM cards and a SD card in Xiaomi A2 Lite, for example.
Though sachiru raises the idea of using a SIM extender to combine 2 SIMs with an SD card here . Personally I'd say just get a 128mb Poco to start with - the price difference compares well with external SD memory
