I have bought a Redmi Note 4 X - 4 GB RAM & 64 GB Internal Memory on end of July 2017.
My issue is when I put two SIM cards on slots I am not getting VOLTE facility on phone, but if I put one SIM card VOLTE facility is available too. I tried to change SIM card on both slots and result was same. VOLTE enabled and disabled Switch of and switch on tried that way also but not getting facility. Please advise

VoLTE is supported in both the slots however only 1 can be active at any time. Generally SIM 1 supports VoLTE. However, in your case it seems like a MIUI software switch issue. Make a backup of the data and perform a factory data reset. If the problem persist, reach out to your nearest Mi Service as i believe you still in your warranty.
almost all the Redmi Note 4X got issue about not getting VoLTE when used both sim slots, tried clean flashing but the problem persist. Any idea on how to set it work?

Hi, I have a question to all users that are familiar with android devices with two slots for SIM cards. Currently there is a very interesting HTC One version as well as Google Nexus 5 that can be ordered with that option. How does this work in real life, is it easy to use two cards simultaneously, how system indicates from with SIM card connection is coming, is it a problem to use a secondary card that belongs to abroad operator without worrying about accidental roaming calls?
OKay, I have now tried using my Tata Indicom CDMA sim (UIM) and the sim card works fine with the Phone.
I can make and recieve calls using the sim card. The only problem is, the Data won't work.
Things I have tried,
Keeping the APN blank,
Trying different APNs from Google results,
Copying the APN settings from my HTC one (which works with tata Indicom and data works fine)
I have also tried to check the hardware differences between the two phones and I found out that Redmi note 3 dsnt have ESN/MEID. And as per my knowledge, Tata Indicom uses MEID to authenticate data connection .
So is there any way to INSERT an MEID into the phone? Or trying some different ROM/Radio can be profitable for this subject?
P.S. I have read on different forums people claiming that their Relicance CDMA Sim data works fine.

Go to settings/about phone
Click on internal storage 5 Times
Choose Phone Info 1
Go down and choose cell type
GSM/CDMA(auto)
I hope it works
It doesn't work
But I noticed one thing -
When I go to About phone -> 5 taps on Internal Memory -> Phone Information (of the slot where CDMA SIM is inserted)
I see that IMEI is 00000000 and
Phone number is 19869372 . . . . . . (1986 is pre-fixed to the mobile number. So the Phone number becomes 14 digit long)
Is there something wrong ? Because when I look at the same information on the GSM SIM, the phone number is regular 10 digit long.
Just buy it another CDMA phone. Because this GSM supported phone I think ?

Hey guys I'm miui lover and want to use miui
Now a days many devs like epic ,turk and etc have patch miui for 7.0 and all say volte is fixed but for it volte is the only problem that stopping me for using them
I have sticked my sd card to volte sim so I'm force to use volte on second sim now when i tried all of them week ago none of them work volte on second sim
My problem is that
1-when i put only one sim in second volte work
2- when i put 2 sim volte on one and normal on second volte work (my brother sim)
3 but when i put normal sim on 1 and volte on second it doesn't work
4 but if i put 2 sim only volte and switch phone volte work then add 1 sim with phone on volte work perfectly on second sim for days even but after i restrt it stops working

I have recently changed mobile operator. During the transition I briefly needed to use two SIMs while my number was ported.
After some struggles, I managed to switch the 4g over to SIM 2 but I can't remember exactly how I achieved this. Now that the number is ported I only want to use one SIM in slot 1, so that I can use an sd card. However I am struggling to activate the data connection in this slot. APN settings are identical.
In summary, data connection is only active when the SIM is in slot 2 (nano/hybrid slot) but not active in slot 1 (micro SIM). How do I fix this?
The magic sim circuit that I bought recently does not work. I've bought it because I wanted to enable two different mobile phone accounts with two different SIM cards on my samsung galaxy note 3. Problem is that only the SIM card placed on the first slot of the phone is detected. The second one is not recognized. When I turn the phone on and I click on the DUAL sim app created by the magic-sim,the error message is always "no service available". I can give you more details...

I have a lot of sim cards. The first one has been bought on 2003,the newest ones one week ago. I tried to use different combinations of sim cards,but the circuit only worked the first time and then never worked anymore

WIND sim 1,bought on 2003 and stored in another mobile phone : this is my primary phone number. On this number I have activated the transfer call...All the phone calls that I get here should be forwarded to SIM 5.

TIM,bought on 2018
ILIAD,bought on 2018
Ho.MOBILE bought on 2018 : this is the sim card I prefer,because it has the most convenient plan.
what I want to do is : to place the SIM 5 on the slot 1 and the SIM 1 on the slot 2 of the note 3 or vicecersa...
