Hey guys sorry about the thread but new here. Back on android after 3 years on iPhone and I must say loving the phone. Tried all the usual tricks but still find the battery to drain pretty quick. I know I should give few charges for it to settle but can you guys recommend anything.
Many thanks guys

hi guys i wuold like to ask you if you know an apk or a website or something that somehow shows me the exact milliamperage of the battery and not only the duration in calls, internet etc. why? because i bought a battery claimed to be 3250 mh so i wanted to know if it's actually the real amperage
i don't like to compare the stress test of the 2 batteries, because i don't like doing the stress test in general on the phone
thanks bros
p.s. if there is a post already open with the answer my apologies, i wasn't able to find it, so please give me the link
Hi guys,
Can someone tell me what i need to be looking for exactly on this program. I updated to JB yesterday OTA and my s3 has been hemorrhaging battery power since like 3% per hour in standby with location and google now turned off. If someone could point out exactly what I need to look for in exactly what section I would be most grateful. I don't see deep sleep mentioned anywhere
Thanks
Head over to the official better battery stats thread here on XDA.
There is plenty of helpful tips, and helpful people
Sorry I don't have link, just search here on xda, or Google it.

Hi you all
I'm running the latest version of [ROM][GT-I9100][JB][4.2.2] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies
31.03.2013
details are at the screenshot.. please take a look.
my battery always finished after 4-5 hours of using...
My questions are:
1. Could it be??
2. Do I run the properly Baseband Version (I9100UHLPH) ?? + Kernel version? (I'm living in Israel by the way).
3. Do I need to change one of the above if i'm running this rom?
if yes please tell me to what file?? attachment will be well received
if not.. does someone encountered this problems too? the battery is killing me,,,
note: the battery is brand original new... I ordered X2 ,to check it.
please answer my questions..
tnx to all of you... MeirT
Hi dude, first of all I don't think this is in the right place to make a thread about this sort of issue, next time post on the cyanogenmod thread OR the Troubeshooting section.
Anyway, you haven't provided enough information. One could use his phone playing games for 4-5hours endlessly and it would run out of battery, that would be reasonable, as constant use will surely drain battery alot faster. There are many ways of improving batt, first screenshot your 'screen' usage' and post it here.

2nd- attached screenshot
3rd - tnx.. any more answers please??
The screenshots you have provided tell us nothing useful whatsoever, I.E the screenshot you provided in your last post shows you lost 3% with ~15 minutes of uptime. This is meaningless.
In order to get help with this you should:-
1) Install BetterBatteryStats (search for it on here/Google Play)
2) Find the BetterBatteryStats thread on XDA & read it.
3) Ask for help in that thread. People there will most likely ask you to post BBS logs in order to help you.
Edit - 4) There are literally hundreds of threads on here about battery life/how to improve it. I suggest you search for them & read them. They contain lots of things people have tried in order to maximise battery life. You seem to be looking for a simple/formulaic way to magically fix your current battery situation, there probably isn't one.
Here are my questions. Has anyone tried both? Which is better for a heavy user? Also can you run both at once or should I disable one? I tried Googling these things but im having trouble finding any info. Sorry if this is a total noob question. Any help is much appreciated.
I've just gone back to juice defender 3.9.6beta after having nothing and I'm getting great battery life. Not sure about snapdragon

Wasn't trying to get anyone to be my monkey. And I thought I was posting in the Apps thread. Sorry if I've offended you. Geez

Thanks. I use juice too. Snapdragon seemed to be draining more than it was saving so I uninstalled.
Moved to Q&A
I understand why you put it in Themes and Apps, but it boils down to being a Question.
Hey guys, I wanted to open up a discussion about what apps or tools you do use to get the best out of your battery juice.
I hope it also can help people
Happy writing!
