while installing cm 12/custom ROM using twrp i wiped Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache and mistakenly wiped sdcard also in wipe system. so while installing cm12/rom i cant find any files . the problem is i reboot it to system and cant enter into recovery mode and phone is dead.what could be the solution for this (need help)?
Flash it again, With flashtool, Datacable and Computer. And reinstall twrp.

Then I went to recovery and wipe/format everything for the new rom, but the rom wasn't on the SD.
Then I reboot my phone, but I couldn't step in again into the recovery.
What is the problem?
Why can't I go into recovery?
Pls, help!

That's because maybe you click in the option format sd card. When you install a new rom, just wipe cache, wipe dalvik & if in the thread rom said that you need to wipe data, you must wipe it. Not format anything.

So, in the mount and storage menu doesn't have to format, okay.
Woth flashtool, i put on my phone a 4.0.2.A.0.58 rom.
So, i think, i'm fine
THX!
I think You have locked bootloader, so when You wipe everything, doesn't install new ROM and reboot device - You have also wiped recovery That's why You wasn't able to boot into it : )

That's right. If you haven't flashed a kernel with a recovery mode installing a recovery by any other method installs it to the system partition.
you can find a flashable zip for cwm recovery in themes and apps section. remember to flash it whenever you change your rom before exiting recovery mode.
Hello,
I have rooted my device and have CM10.1 installed (already months ago).
My kids did something and now the device is stuck on the CM boot screen.
I can boot into the CWM recovery (unfortunately there is no backup present).
I did a factory reset/wipe cache/wipe david cache.
This did not solve the problem.
I wanted to use Odin1.85 to flash a new rom, but Odin can not connect to my device.
I downloaded the Samsung mobile drivers and tried the version 1.3.15 and version 1.3.25 drivers.
When I go to the "Download Mode" and connect the cable to the device (with Odin already started), I get the message on my laptop that the "device is not recognized". On the device the message "waiting USB cable" keeps showing.
I tried to connect with ADB but then when I try to see my device "ADB devices" the list shows nothing.
So I think it is a driver problem, not sure.
My laptop is running Windows 7.
Anyone got any idea what to do??
Any help is much appreciated!!
Do you have any ROM zips in your SD card? If so, wipe system, data, cache and dalvik in recovery and flash that ROM.

No I don't have any roms on the device.
Wished it was so easy.
Well I can't help much since I don't know what your kids did. All I can say is just try to get Odin to be able to recognize your tab, but you already know that.
BTW, here's the driver that I use. http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/GT-P7510MAYXAB

Thanks for the link.
Did try the drivers you are using, but that also is not working.
I will try to get another laptop and see if it is working on there.
I reinstalled all drivers of my laptop, but to no avail!
I (un/)installed several Samsung USB drivers but all I tried did not help.
So my next step will be first try it on another laptop (I did not get hold of another laptop yet)..
Stupid, stupid.
I had a nightly in the cmupdater folder.
I did wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache.
Then I installed the nightly from the cmupdater folder.
Rebooted the device but it still hangs on the startup screen of Cyanogenmod.
Any other ideas or is it now really bricked!

There should be boot.img within the cm's zip file.
Check it
or
reflash the rom again and perform the full wipe.

Did u read my problem?
I know there is a boot.img inside the cm rom. But I can not extract it from the rom since my tablet is stuck at the boot screen with the cm logo.
And it is not possible to flash a img from CWM recovery, only zip files.
Again do I miss something?
Can CWM extract files?
Can CWM flash img files?

A full wipe means formating system, data, dalvik cache and cache. You can find in under mounts.

Format data
Format cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Wipe cache
Wipe system/factory reset
Flashed rom.
Same problem.
But thanks anyway!
Much appreciated!
Well I guess you just have to figure out how to get your tab to connect to PC then. Good luck!

put the stock rom on it if u want and flash it.
and i asked u for the tab details
use this
Hold down the power button and make sure it turns off. There might be a battery charging symbol on the screen once it’s off.
Hold down Volume Down, and then Power buttons. The tablet should power up. Wait till there are two icons.
Press the Volume Down button to toggle between which icon is selected. Make sure the LEFT (USB) icon is selected.
Press the Volume Up button to actually select. Now you are in “Fastboot” mode.
Plug the tablet into your computer’s USB port

i know this problem and it is easy to fix.
the problem: your recovery does not work fine, it does not wipe completely
you need to flash PhilZ Touch Recovery from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617901
after flashing reboot into recovery:
then
1. delete all userdata, wipe data/ factory reset
2. "..." wiping cache partition
3."..." wiping dalvik cache
4. and finally wipe to install a new custom rom
so... after that you only have to flash your "old" recovery of previously, then flash again the boot.img of your rom using fastboot (don`t forget erasing cache after flashing) or using venom flasher to flash the boot.img
..
reboot into recovery
..
last step: install the rom-zip from your sdcard or with adb sideload ....... and everything will work perfectly. :victory:
have fun

ive recently flashed stock recovery and stock rom (i was using twrp and cm13). everything went fine, the phone did boot and everything worked, except factory reset.
whenever i chose to reset to factory settings, the phone did reboot into recovery mode with error flash system again. thats what i did.
but now it wont start again, its stuck at the huawei logo.
ive downloaded b121, b330 and b370. flashed boot, system, recovery, cust, cache but its all the same.
does anyone have a idea?
btw, whats with "RECOVERY2.IMG' do i have to flash this one too? (ive tried with and without it, but no difference either)
thanks in advance

ive tried this order: boot, system, recovery.img, cust, cache, userdata
boot, system, recovery.img, recovery2.img, cust, cache, userdata
and finally: boot,system,recovery2.img, cust, cache, userdata
but neither did work. right now ive flashed back to twrp and created a flashable zip file (stock rom) with multi tool and see how that goes.
stock rom is running fine now. how do i go back to stock recovery from here on?
Just flash it.

As a last resort you could try formating your phone from twrp. Once you format, reboot to recovery, connect your phone to the laptop and try copying the build and flash again. Mind you, this will remove all data, so use this method only if needed.

What do you mean with format? format from Wipe option in TRWP or from File manager? I try with Wipe option Formar Data, factory reset, ,cache, system, storage. etc.
BTW : Curiously when i flash with TRWP i can see the process and it says "Target: mido/mido_images_V8.4" whatever rom i try to flash

Once you go to the wipe option on twrp, don't go to advanced wip, go to format data. There it will ask you to enter yes. Do that.
Please note, doing this will wipe everything on your phone, but altleast for me, it fixed a similar issue.
I have many bad experiences flashing miui with custom recovery, it will often lead to errors. Best way to flash miui is using fastboot method
Download attachments -> flash it
http://en.miui.com/thread-310923-1-1.html
Try Red Wolf Custom Recovery.. I don't need Lazy Flasher zip..
I hope fix ur problem
