Changing the mode to MTP + ADB should fix the problem of not being able to connect it to the computer. If you can't remember how to change the mode, the dialer code should be *#0808# or something like that
Thanks for replying but I solved this problem, its 5.0.1 Android Problem, when I downgrade cellphone to 4.4.2 then it recognized and installed the driver in same DM + Modem + ADB mode, I wanted to use this mode because I want to network unlock that cellphone and the software wont allow me do it without that mode.

I can vouch for the problem being 5.0+. The security permissions regarding usb-switching in the new firmware are strict, and there are way more hoops to jump through now. I am working on a fix, but it might be more complicated than it's worth given how easy it is to downgrade our phone. I've already downgraded and upgraded twice over (don't ask why, long story).
What kind of modem work are you trying to do?

I'm working on it.
You're gonna have to build a kernel. The options are there just set to off by default in the configs.

I have purchased a CarPC much like this one from China:
http://www.parkly.com.cn/Simplified/ProductView.asp?ID=148&SortID=146
All the "normal" functions (radio, calling, bluetooth, tv) are not android, but the GPS has been replaced with a Android 2.3 installation..
The problem here is that the Android installation is very minimal and does not include android market...
I would try to fix it myself, but i'm missing adb access.. Also, I can get into an update mode (recovery mode) but there are no physical buttons connected to the android system.. so I can't select anything, just getting the android icon with the triangle because no update exist..
There is a usb plug on the back of the radio, which is normally use for a WIFI stick.. I have tried to connect a usb keyboard, which works fine in normal mode, but no effect in recovery mode..
There is a small 10-pin plug in the lower right corner of the unit (see pictures), I suspect this to be a adb connection, but have no idea on howto create a cable for it...
The unit is based on the TCC8900-series.. So maybe someone out there has some ideas???
Hope someone can help me get ADB connection to this carpc...

Does it has superuser permissions? If yes, you can try to install it recovery via Rom manager.
I think you can install android market without adb. Just grab android market and install it. (Not sure)
Maybe you can just make a story like tell them your android system won't boot up. Asked them how to fix it yourself. And just act like stupid, ask how to do this and that and I think they will tell you how to connect to pc.
Accidentally sent from my Nexus S using XDA Premium App
No root..
and I have already tried to contact them.. no go...
ADB does not require a special cable
Does the unit have WIFI on Android?
If so check what IP it is getting and connect to it via ADB, through another host connected to the same WIFI network (Like a PC/Laptop...):
> ADB CONNECT 192.168.X.Y
Thanks for the IP ADB suggestion, I will try it out.. But I still haven't got root..
Hello MrMEEE!!!
Any new with your device? I have the same one and the same problems! Plus, the 3G does not work with modem i provide (and I dont know which other I should). I turn the Wifi on, it keeps On for about 1 minute and then turns off by itself.
I have installed SuperUser.apk through the sdcard but ths SYSTEM partition where I should put the su binnaries is READONLY. When I try to use my "su" I receive the message "the uid 10039 is not allowed to su"
So, if you have any news, please let me know.
Regards
Hi all,
When I was on ICS, my USB connection is okay, after flashed to JB 4.1.1 (i9300XXDLH7) is not recognized anymore. Please refer to the print screen pic. I cannot go back to ICS via Odin.
I've try to another computer but still the same issues. Also, I've try to install Samsung's USB driver here (https://androidfirmwares.net/Tools/Download/9)

If you have Kies uninstall it and re install if you dont have it install it, then plug in your phone and see if the drivers install correctly it worked for me last time I had a problem similar to this
I just install Kies and try as you advised, still not working, here are the exact error here. Any more ideas?
Some suggestions here:
-Try different usb cables and port.
-Turn off your phone and take out battery for a few minutes.
-Hope you have nandroid backup your ICS rom, restore back your backup.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Uninstall the devices manually in device manager, don't forget to tick the "delete the driver ' option, now restart your pc and install the drivers either from online or through kies
《tapatalked from galaxy s3》
Problem solved!
I try few thing here:
1. Uninstall Kies, turn off my laptop
2. Install Kies.
3. Restart my SGS3
4. Use new USB cable (old connection still recognized by HTC sensation)
I'm not sure which one if the right problem but I try the above steps and it's working now.
Thanks for the suggestions and advised.
Cheers,
imkr
Just install the s3 root kit ith drivers onto your computer, you not have to root your hone, just use the drivers to get it to recognise your phone

and I tried that, but for some reason, after turning on the usb tethering, it disconnects as it was and the device manager gives me a notification of new hardware named Xperia and can't install them. Tried to install it manually with the drivers from the PC Companion, but they didn't work.
Here is what I get for it on the Device Manager.

Did you try this??
I tried it and got it working on MIUI based on CM.....
I was hoping to use native tethering, because I'm still a little skeptic about these kind of apps. Still thank you, if there isnt any other way, will try yours.

You CAN use native tethering. I ran into the same problem. I just did forced install of RNDIS driver on my Win7 x64 to "Xperia" device.
Hello there!
So I sold my S3 Mini and the buyer asked me to fix his phone. The first problem was that it was stuck in a bootloop and the EFS couldnt be mounted. I got that working and it now boots up normally. Now the problem is that I cant connect to my wifi and it says no service on my cellular. It detects my sim because when I booted it up it asked for the sim lock password.
Another problem is that my Windows wont detect the phone. But it's charging normally. It detected my previous S3 Mini before with no problem. I've even flashed CM11 on it then flash the stock firmware without any problems.
To clarify here are my problems :
1. Cant connect to wifi
2. No service
3. Windows wont detect the phone
The main reason I want it to detect to my phone is to use Odin to flash the stock firmware again. I've tried Mobile Odin but it kept saying to download and install the addons when I've already installed them. Mobile Odin v4.2 if you're wondering. I've also installed the drivers for everything and it wont detect. Thanks for your help.
Sounds like efs is corrupt, try another usb lead to connect to pc, shorter is better.

Any way to fix it? I got the wifi to work by flashing the stock firmware with Mobile Odin. My IMEI is also not correct.
Restore your efs backup.

Anyone know how to fix a boot loop issue? Looks like my smartphone decided to go into a boot loop. My Realme GT2 Pro isn't seen by my PC in this state.
Soft-brick or hard-brick? Can you access the bootloader? Do you have ABD drivers on your PC?
I don't know the difference between a soft brick and hard brick. It starts to boot and recycles. I can manage only to get into this strange recovery mode. I tried all 3 options you see on the screen and there is no difference.

It's soft-bricked... it's easy to fix... But do you flashed the phone or just started bootlooping all of nothing?
It just started this yesterday for no reason. I was deleting some apps I don't use when it started.
How can I fix this when the device can't be seen by the PC?
Since you said that tried all three options from Recovery mode means that there's no more data to recover... So, just re-flash the phone... You'll need the ADB drivers for the PC to recognize the phone on bootloader...
I managed to get the phone into a condition where it is recognized by a qualcomm QDLoader. Where do I go from here?
This is EDL mode... This is for severe cases, which is not yours, for now... Is your phone unlocked?
I think the phone is unlocked right now
No fastboot available so how do I flash an image in EDL mode?
Are you sure you doesn't have access to bootloader? Start the phone with the power button + volume down...
Anyway, in EDL mode you can flash your phone with QFIL, but it's very buggy... Or with MSM Download Tool, which is flawless, but the problem is getting access to this software... That was my problem until today as you can see here...
MSM Downloaf Tool for realme GT 2 Pro
Does anyone know how to access this tool? This is ridiculous, realme has no useful tool to flash their phones and the one that is useful are impossible to access... The only one that I have access was one patched for some especific Oppo phone...
