I just updated my phone T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 to the new LG v10
Love this phone, really sleek and beautiful.
Problem is I cannot get my Moto 360 1st gen to connect.
Ive paired the two devices and no problems there, but the two will not connect. The blu-tooth shows the watch on my phone, but will never connect. Ive gone thru several sites that give you the basics to troubleshoot, including reset the Moto 360 to factory specs which I have done several times.
The two pair perfectly, but will not connect. If I go to the blu-tooth settings on the watch, I don't see my LG v10 anymore, it just searches and never finds. I have to completely un-pair and reset to pair again and again no connection.
I have paired the Moto 360 with several devices and I know its working perfectly, the only change is this phone.
The phone is connected to my Car Stereo and it works perfectly there, so I know the blu-tooth does work there.
Anybody else having issues with Android Wear, or similar?
Thanks
I have the T-Mobile V10 and I paired my 360. I had issues after the initial pairing like you described but after rebooting the phone it has been working constantly.
I had to factory reset my watch twice
It connect fine here with my Moto 360 first gen (and my Jabra Rox headphones).
Same here...before I upgraded to the v10...my note 5 and gold moto360 out of nowhere just stopped connecting...I had to reset a few times to get it together.maybe after a certain while all Android wears have to be factory reset at some point...hopefully an update will fix what's going on
Have tried resetting several times and nothing. It's as if the phone only sees the watch long enough to pair, but won't connect.
Thank you all, I finally figured it out. I was trying to sync thru the Bluetooth option. You have to sync thru the android wear app.
What I did was reset the watch, this time I had my wear app open and waiting. When the watch asks to sync, the app kicks in. I've had my watch so long, I forgot how the proper way of doing it.
Speaking of which...has anybody had issues replying or sending messages and or asking ok Google with the moto 360

I haven't had any issues yet, but one thing I do notice is the messages app doesn't turn on the Moto 360 like my Note 4 did

How's the 360 holding up for you guys? Is on sale on the play store and I'm tempted to get it
Anyone figure this out yet? I just picked up the v10 and have the same issues
Like others have said, I had to reset my watch to be able to get it to connect. Just like starting over.
I've had to factory reset my watch every time I wanted to pair with a new device.

Its good and all, battery life is absolutely horrid though.
I have an LGv20 and a moto 360 sport and had the same issue everyone has described. I reset the watch endless times. The way you need to do this is as follows. Unpair the watch from the phone. This will do the factory reset. On your phone, open the Android wear APP. Have the APP set to discover your watch. It's the very first step you have when opening the app. The watch is now ready to connect to your phone. Essentially you are pairing your phone and watch through the Android Wear app. The mistake I was making was pairing the watch and phone from the phones Bluetooth area. Big mistake. I am happily paired to my phone now. It took 2 days of frustration to finally find this posting.

Anyone run into this? I'm setting up my brand new watch with my moto x.
It pairs, and then does the initial setup (app installs, sync, I assume... Where it says "just a sec"... It does that for 3 minutes or so, then I get the" can't connect to the Internet "error.
I've tried a factory reset, I team through the list on the Google website, etc... Nothing fixes it! Any clue?

Did you pair via BT Settings or via Android Wear APP? You should NOT pair via settings. It needs to be done via the Android Wear APP.....
Can you see the Watch in the Android Wear APP?
Did you perform a Factory Reset on the Watch or on the Phone - or both?
If it says there is no internet connection -> Does Internet work on the Phone?
Using WLAN or GSM for Internet on the phone?
Any Blocker / Firewall etc installed on the Network/Phone?
Google NOW works on the phone?
I also have the same issue.
I had the same issue and tried following the usual advice from LG and Google abut making sure the apps were up to date etc. Then I hit upon the idea of turning off my wifi and using the phone network to download the firmware update - this worked. I can only assume this is something to do with my broadband supplier (possibly BT's Parental Controls). Give it a shot - it might work for you.
I have the same problem pairing with my LG G2, It was succesfull the first time I associated the devices but after a watch reset I always have the 'no internet access' problem.
I tried with a factory reset of the phone without results, but the watch is able to pair with the old Samsung S3 I used for a test.
I found nothing worked to pair the LG G watch to my Nexus 7/2013. Because I had been using the Nexus 7/2013 with a Moto 360 and I had a bunch of wear applications installed on the Nexus 7.
So, instead I found another device running 4.3+ (actually 4.4.4) and used it to setup the LG G watch. The steps were:
(1) Find device with no previous wear apps, and Bluetooth settings not paired with LG G watch.
(2) Install android wear app from play store.
(3) Turn on blue tooth.
(4) Pair LG G with android wear app (but not using device bluetooth settings).
(5) Do not get ahead with the android wear app. After pairing just wait at the "Turn on watch notifications" screen until the LG G watch finishes "Downloading*, Install, and auto restarting.
(6) Complete the steps in android wear app.
(7) Complete the steps on the LG G watch.
Unsure why this works, but it did for me.
This was preferred method rather than uninstall all wear apps from original Nexus 7/2013.
Oh, and if you decide to re-pair it with the original device, e.g. my Nexus 7/2013, you have to be very patient until all the original apps are re-installed. You can check on your Nexus device in Wear Mini Launcher, Behavior, Launcher exclusion apps to see how many apps you installed.
If some are missing you can reinstall from Play store. I had to reinstall Wear Mini Launcher and Calculator For Android Wear (Wearable Software) app for whatever reason.
Good luck.

Clear Bluetooth pairing
The way I was able to resolve the "can't connect to the Internet" issue was by going to my phone's bluetooth settings and found the existing LG G Watch device and removing the existing bluetooth registration by clicking 'Unpair'. That was the only method that worked for me after trying to "Reset device' on the LG G watch didn't work and uninstalling and reinstalling the 'Google Wear for Android' app didn't work. Once I removed the existing pairing and did a device reset everything behaved normally and stopped getting the "can't connect to the Internet" error. Hope this helps.
Android wear can not find LG G Watch
After a factory reset my android wear can not find my watch. I have already reinstalled the app, cleared catch and data. Toggled airplane mode and bluetooth. I have unpaired the watch from the phone pre factory reset on the LG G watch.
When I get to the starting screen on my LG G watch it says lets get started so I pair it my phone it gives me a 6-9 digit number I hit pair, then it goes into updating then after that syncing. Once all that is done I get to the main page on the LG G Watch. From that point on the phone android wear can not find me watch. Also on the bluetooth settings on the watch its self it cna not find my phone. HTC one M8/ I have also tried it on a samsung galaxy S6 and S6Edge. Software is update on both devices and all apps ( Goolge play, services and wear are up to date)
Can anyone think of anything I have not tried? I have it scheduled for repair but I do not want to send it off for 14 days if I can fix it myself.
Thanks in advance
Ben
Hey, I just got the LG G5 today. I've been using the Gear S for less than a year with my S6 Edge with no problems at all (after changing from the LG G Watch R, Samsung seemed to lock out the old watch with a software update).
I've been trying for the past few hours to set up my Gear S with the LG, but nothing's working. I've tried what seems to be the 2 most popular methods and neither worked. The closest I got was pairing the 2 via bluetooth in the Gear app, the watch said it needed to reboot and factory reset. But then nothing. Just stuck in an unending connecting loop.
The G5 is running Android 6, I've heard that the Gear S has some problems with that.
I don't need full functionality for the Gear S, just call and text notifications (it will do the calls via a normal BT connection but not texts). I use it as a music player as well, but since that isn't tied to the phone, I know I'll have that no matter what.
I've also heard about possibly being able to install Android Wear on the Gear S. Is that possible?
Can someone please help?
same problem with LG V10 Marshmallow appreciate the help plz. thank you
I've been dealing with connection issue on my Asus Zenwatch 2 since updating it 2.0. Sometimes when I try to use Google Assistant it comes up with error saying "Can't reach Google at the moment." When this happens the watch will show Bluetooth is disconnected in the connectivity settings, however my phone shows it's still connected and I still receive notifications as usually. The only thing I can't do is use voice features. Now when I'm connected to Wifi works perfectly fine, it just happens mainly on a mobile data/Bluetooth connection. If I reboot my phone and watch the issue will correct itself for a while.
Things I've tried:
-Factory resetting at least 5 times.
-Wiping the cache through recovery mode.
-Factory resetting my phone.
My devices and builds
Phone - ZTE Blade X Max (Z983) - Android 7.1.1
Build Z983V1.5.19
Watch - Asus Zenwatch 2 - Android 7.1.1
Build NWD1.170706.001
I apologized if this isn't the place to post this here. I'm new here!
Just not sure if it's man issue on the watch or phone side. Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
I've had similar issues when music is playing. If I use my watch to pause the music, then voice commands start working again. Try playing/pausing music with your watch, then try using voice commands again.
I don't mean to revive a dead thread, but I too am having the exact same problem as OP
/me too.
Me too, Ticwatch E, so recent watch.
Hi all,
maybe this will help you. I have had the same issue. But it's solved now:

Hi all,
Thanks for taking the time to read.
I bought my Bip back in February and it has been a joy to use. About 3 weeks ago I opened the MiFit app and it said as it often did that there was a new firmware and proceeded to run an update. It had done this many times before without a problem. This time however when returning to the watch it said "Connect to APP to update". I tried connecting it to the app but each time I pressed tick on the watch the phone gave an error that the connection was refused. I checked the Amazfit support pages and followed the suggestions of rebooting the phone, forgetting the watch in the app and then in the bluetooth settings on the phone but the problem still persists. I tried it on the wife's iphone to rule out my handset but got the same error. The watch is not visible in the bluetooth settings of the phone.
Video of problem: /drive.google.com/file/d/11ftktWFmqf4dFrWyyg9fMEOrCNhr3kEn/view?usp=sharing
Since then I have tried on an Android phone and got a bit further. With Android I can pair through bluetooth but when running the MiFit app I get an error that the connection fails when trying to pair up the watch. I then installed the "Notify and Fitness" app which does see the watch however on attempting to update the firmware or resources it fails at 98-99%. When using the tests in the app I can get the watch to run a heart rate test and vibrate. Also if I flash with a chinese res file then the language of the error also changes.
I have tried using the two alternative methods of update, new and old firmware but to no avail. I have also tried doing this without the MiFit ap installed and firmware updates through gadget bridge.
One last thing to try is for the battery to run down and restart the thing but I am still a week at least away from 0% and Have been trying to fix it for a fortnight
Do any of teh gurus of XDA have any tips or suggestions of what else I could try?
Thanks in advance!
Any solution in 2019 using iphone?
Hello.
Did you solve this problem?
I found solutions but they were wrote more than a year ago...
And all of them used android phones to install new (now old) firmwares, but I only can use my iphone...

I let it run down helped along by repeated vibration tests but eventually after about 3 weeks the thing ran out of juice. Charged it and started it back up and it booted up fine, it has been fine since! great little watch but really needs a hard reset button.
Good luck
