I have seen dozens of posts about various defects and such. i want to know who has gotten one that has been in proper working order?
Mine has a very slight pink hue but i dont really notice it.
Mine makes me feel giddy like a school girl, should I RMA?

Honestly though I don't think I have any issues with my phone. I've checked it over and over. I'm really impressed with the reception. I can't remember the last phone I had that got this good of reception.

This is almost the perfect phone. While many things can be better (e.g. smaller bezels, an even better camera, this that and the other), i am not as picky as some users are. I think the camera is very nice. The speakers are great. The audio jack is good to slightly better than good. The screen is beautiful. The device is amazingly beautiful. Battery has been close to very good. Lots of great things.
The only issue i have with my phone and its barely that, is the screen shifts to a greyish blue when not viewed within 10 degrees horizontal/vertical. Not a deal breaker in the slightest.
and totally agree with the above post. Reception has been very nice. Data, too.
No problems with mine. Tested everything that others complained about and no issues.
No defects here.
None here yet
Perfect 6P here. The best phone I've ever had....
Works as I expected. Honestly, reading all of these defect posts here and on Reddit made me a bit paranoid. Like I'm looking to see if there's even the slightest discrepancy in flushness of the bottom back plastic plate and the rest of the aluminium body. Or exaggerating the volume difference between the top and bottom speakers when I run a stereo audio test. It's nothing worth getting worked up about!
I'm happy with it as long as I can keep it scratch-free until my case arrives!
The only issue I have had with mine is that the back access port isn't completely levels. It's raised on one side. Though the phone is going to spend the rest of its life in a case so it doesn't matter. Apart from that and the paranoia that my phone will never be updated its the best phone ive owned.
Honestly, the best phone I've ever had. I switched from iPhone 6 to a used LG G3 earlier this year. My Nexus 6P is perfection. Utter bliss. I'm actually in a state of continuous geekgasm.

Mines fantastic, man i love this thing, its an excellent phone, i'm actually worried for the next round of Nexus devices , can they keep up with this standard of build ?
Adore it like as if it were my child. I missed having chamfered edges like with my old m7. I just like looking at it from different angles and seeing the light shine around it.
Not a single problem with it whatsoever :victory::victory:

Hey guys, so I waited forever for my nexus and now that I have it...its somewhat disappointing. Bad signal, things close randomly, and it also has cheap build quality.
Honestly, how do you guys like your rezounds? How's the battery on those things? How's the build quality?
My entire android experience to this point has been with HTC (Inc and Inc 2) and I wanted something new, but I may come back.
Appreciate all the replies. Thanks.

I, personally, love this phone. The build quality is very solid and doesn't feel like a cheap piece of plastic in your hand. I get great signal from it. Phone calls are clear and don't drop. I also rarely lose 4g unless I'm just in a horrible area. Plus, the GPS on this phone is absolutely amazing.
The battery life could be better stock, but you can't really expect much with such a big and bright screen. I was getting around 6 hours of heavy use out of it until I tried this little trick by nosympathy. Now I'm getting a strong 12-15 hours with fairly heavy use. I'm more than happy with everything about this phone. We don't have S-Off or perm root right now, but I could really care less. Just stock this thing whips the hell out of any phone I've ever touched. When we do get the update to ICS and Sense 4.0 (probably early next year according to HTC), this thing will be even better. I love this phone and will probably never touch anything but HTC in the future. I would suggest going to Verizon and playing around with one. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. Good luck!
Edit: Also, with any phone I've had before (mostly Motorola or LG), I've been dying for root right away to make the phone better. This one doesn't need root to be amazing. It just is straight from the box.
I've tried numerous phones and carriers. Most recently I had the Bionic and the RAZR. I would say this phone is the best I've had in the last year or so. After going through 3 RAZRs due to screen problems, random rebooting and reception issues, the first Rezound I got is just perfect. The screen is much clearer, 4G radio is consistently 5-10 Mbps higher than the RAZR/Bionic were. I will stick with this phone for sure.
Awesome replies so far, thanks guys. So there's no creaking around the back or sides of the phone when you press them? That was a problem on both generations of my Incredible

form factor alone, the rezound kills the nexus. that things feels so damn cheap its disgusting. as for battery, you'll get a standard work day. the highest i've gotten so far was 17 hours. not bad!
creaking, yeah. mines starting to develop it. However, I use a case so I never noticed it.

The Rezound is the most solid feeling phone I have ever had. I switched from Sprint to get it.
Solid, great display, good battery, stupid fast, Sense 3.5!
Rezound is probably the best 4G phone you can get on Verizon now. The Hardware is high end, I'm sure once we get s-off or once ICS hits oh baby.
Edit: no creaks.
Agreed. Absolutely in love with this phone. Usually I get a phone and say I like it except for a few things. The only thing missing for me is s-off, and its so good I'm not even that upset

I just came back from the Nexus. The battery life was horrible, the reception was about 30db less, no simultaneous 3G voice and data, and the screen wasn't that impressive.
I am happy to be back, I really like this device.
Sent from my HTC Rezound
Creaking is very slight. Some rebounds have over heating issues, so be aware that you may have to exchange for one that doesn't.
However I love my rezound, does everything I want and one of the best things is simultaneous voice/data. Came from tmobile and so glad I get to keep that feature.

I have been considering the nexus (I haven't looked at it yet) but after reading the tremendous amount of issues and people trying to defend things that should not be acceptable, I'll probably stick with my rezound which is perfect accept I don't have root and an MIUI rom option yet... But other than that, pretty much have 0 issues with it hardware wise, and I do like sense 3.5, but MIUI is more my style I think.
It seems that there are too many issues on top of compromises by switching to the Nexus :-\ the only reason I kind of want it is for the constant updates and Google support, but that's not worth sacrificing everything else for IMO, even if we don't get root, ill probably still be happier with this one

tbh, mine does creak now which is annoying. extended battery door doesn't yet. Decided to buy a case and don't notice it anymore. Had the Razr before this and I can honestly say I am very happy to have switched to the Rezound. Camera on the Rezound is much better than nexus or razr.
edit: plus we have Scrosler over here now. Can't beat that!

Thanks for the call out. Glad my guide helped you out.
I can make the sides crash I'd I squeeze it hard, but mine doesn't with normal use. I think that happens after you pop the back off a bunch, the clips, which are plastic, start to stretch.

I see I'm not the only one thinking of trading in their Nexus for a Rezound. I'm coming from the Incredible.
Incredible has better reception, faster 3G speed, louder speakers (ear and rear). Also people said the DInc had poor battery life, mine last 2 days on a charge. I'm sure I can get the Rezound to last atleast day.
I'm still not fully liking the on-screen buttons. The menu button, depending on the app, is sometimes at the bottom, sometimes at the top, and some others have reported no where at all. They also reduce the resolution on most apps to 720x1184. Only a few apps (anything by google) can shrink or hide the buttons for full screen.
Phone connects to USB via MTP instead of Mass Storage Device, due to lack of sdcard.
Still images aren't bad at all, but doesn't seem to deal with motion all that well.
The reason I chose the GNex was for the amoled screen, but I might settle with slcd for an overall better phone.
Considering how most amoled screens over saturate and enrich colors to the point where they aren't accurate, and have banding issues, they are pretty, but too many issues come with it... SLCD is better lol as it does none of this, it only has a minimal wash for blacks that u can see visually, but its so minor, its not as much of an issue as seeing glare from the glass (like reflection glare that every smooth surface has...)
Edit: I went and checked one out in the store today and while ICS is cool and all, too many cons to the phone, screen problems, home buttons were weird when typing, signal wasn't as good as the two beside it (rezound and razr) even in the store, and it had more hiccups than the rezound on bloated sense. The front cam was noticeably worse, and the rear cam was fine but the rezound took better pictures... The back plate was also jacked up but I'm sure its because of the sensor things on them, though the rezound had the same thingy on it and its plate wasn't warped and bent.
Anyway, glad I got it out of my system now, I much prefer this phone, I just wish it got the same support as the Nexus. Though root will come ...

I actually love the AMOLED screen on my Incredible, however I'm a little let down with the AMOLED on the GNex.
Never used any of the Note devices before and only glanced at them in the store. I just knew it had the features I wanted in a phone, so I pre-ordered. Yet when it arrived yesterday I don't think my mind was prepared for just how big of a device this is. I came from a Gnex so it's quite the change. The speed on this device is incredible though, love that. Don't love that it looks like I'm holding a brick to my face when talking.
I find I'm having trouble finding places to keep on my person without it looking too obtrusive in pockets. Any thoughts fellow Note users? I'm seriously considering returning it for a smaller device, like a LG G2...
P.S. Hell no to a holster / belt clip

I went from Gnex to Note II to the 3. I know what you're feeling. Honestly give it a day or two. You'll be used to the size before you even realize it. You'll pick up your Gnex and wonder how you ever used a phone so small.
As nice as the G2 is, this her Note 3 is one beast of a phone. Give it some time. I swore I'd never get rid of my Note 2, and only did so to get the 3. This is honestly the best phone I've ever used and could never see myself using anything but the Note line.

You will need more than a day. Give it a week or 2...by that time the device will be normal.
Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk now Free
Trust me just give it time and it will seem normal size to you. I went from a note 2 to an HTC one and although the phone was nice I hated how small it was. At least in my opinion everything else is too small after having the note. I usually keep it in my back pocket.

I am coming from S3 and the Note is much larger, it will be a more of a challenge to keep it in a pants pocket but hopefully it won't be too much of an adjustment, and I plan to get a very thin case to go with it. But the positives of having the larger screen far outweigh this minor inconvenience.
Coming from an S3 I have to say the size doesn't bother me at all. I don't have big hands, but it just seems to feel right.

Yeah, I got a spigen Neo-Hybrid case but it feels too slim and doesn't make me feel like the device will be safe if I drop it from ANY height.
As for the pros of a larger screen, I have a Nexus 7 (which now feels pointless). So that serves to feed my need for a large screen. I just can't help but feel for my go - to service, it should be more...compact.

I feel like the ergonomics of the device are good, it still feels like a chore to stuff in a secure place when out and about though.
I guess I'll give it more than 2 days. We have what, 14 days to return if we're unhappy? Here's hoping I adjust. I really do like the features and the stylus. Although many have said you tend to stop using the stylus after a while.

Well, I returned my second one the other day. I guess the structural integrity of the device can't withstand the removal and installation of cases.
First I noticed that something looked a bit crooked around the volume rocker. After looking further I noticed that it was tweaked sideways. Like if you're looking at it the screen, take the top half and twist left and bottom half twist right.
I haven't seen this issue before, but make sure to not remove cases once you put them on.
I'm back to my nexus 6 and ordered a one plus x just because. I'll wait for the next google variant.

This device has a very weak design for sure. It is a pity, because it looks good with good screen, performance, and battery life.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
that's why i am moving away from the nexus line - build quality of nexus 6p is better than nexus 5, but still too weak. it is a pity for sure.
the constant google design changes which don't seem to have a purpose (for ex hangouts) and the little annoying bugs are making me move too. the bugs are worst than iPhone bugs i mean i remember for a few months last year my nexus was unusable due to battery drainage.
I do have to say I am somewhat pleased with marshmallow's lack of critical bugs, although, the weak physical build and somewhat low built quality of these phones makes me get want to move away from google - with two alternatives Samsung and Apple - And Apple wins because Samsung touchqiz is just disgusting.
Maybe it is the way you remove the case. I have used four different cases. I have in general, removed the case once a day, and my 6p is OK.
There is a general thread called bent after two days. You should post in there, so we know how many it happened to.

I had two tight fitting cases, the Verus and a kugi case
http://www.amazon.com/Nexus-Verus-Shield-Steel-Silver/dp/B015GHQGM2
http://www.amazon.com/quality-ultra-thin-Google-Huawei-smartphone/dp/B014ZJ0538
The only way to remove those is to pull at the corners, which should be fine. But I think because the device is so tall, and narrow, mixed with the fact the structure is weak, bad things will happen.
I really hope next year LG comes back for the main, or bigger of the possible two devices. Even moto is better than this current crap.

I think it was more due to the Kugi snap case. It was really low profile and essentially had to pry it off. In doing so, you really had to grab on the bastard and yank it off.

Loving it so far and much better than my previous phones (G2, G3, G4, iPhone 6, Nexus 5X,) It's incredibly comfortable to hold and use - fits perfectly in my hand and does not show fingerprints, has good grip, just feels right. The top of the screen has a slight curve to it which is really nice swiping down for notifications.
Performance-wise it's a beast.
Gonna keep if for 10 days and re-assess. I almost bought a 6P but grabbed this instead, mainly because of replacement battery, up to 2TB expandable storage - it was the last one left and the 3 staff members had nothing but negative things to say about it at the Best Buy Mobile where I picked it up. None of them had ever used the phone. They just kept asking why don't I just get an S7 or iPhone? lol

Why ? A 18:9 has less screen area than a 16:9 with the same diag measurement. This has been noted in reviews of the phone.
As noted in this review, the total screen area is actually a little larger than the iPhone 7 plus and in a smaller body, but still less total screen area than a 5.7" phone with a 16:9 ratio.

For some odd reason the nav bar is absolutely enormous, even in small display mode, making the usable area of the screen quite a bit less than 5.7, making it feel much more like 5.2/౩. If it weren't for the always on display this thing would already be back in the box.
I'm assuming you guys have not taken an update, if there even is one. In order to preserve whatever root method comes about first?

My G6 feels faster than my G4. I almost got the V20 but it didn't have wireless charging. I got a wireless charging sticker for the G4. I'll try to get use to this odd 5.7" screen size.

You can tell the software isn't optimized for the SD821 like it is on the Pixel. The Pixel is by far the smoothest phone I've ever used.
So far the only thing that bugs me is the uneven LCD screen, the bottom half is warmer than the top which triggers my OCD like crazy and I see it every time on a white background. Brings back memories of my OnePlus One days where I had to exchange 4 different times to get a half way decent screen.
I'm getting really good battery life so far which is a good sign and it charges way faster than my Pixel it seems. Camera so far has been pretty meh... I took a few night pictures and they come out better on my Pixel.
So far, Pixel to me is still the king, I'll most likely return this thing and try the Galaxy S8. If that doesn't blow me away, I'm hanging onto my Pixel until the next gen version.

Don't worry once you guys get root you can use kcal to adjust screen calibration as we guys with the v20s are doing

T-Mobile shipped out their pre-orders early
yeah I`m waiting on ATT version, but I`m been with android forever, I`m also thinking of getting Iphone 7 plus and I have played with my wife`s phone and love how smooth and quick it is, not sure yet.........but I`m little concerned with the issues reported
Root is not fixing this thing's performance issues. It's not bloat causing it, its just clearly unoptimized. You will definitely want software updates enabled to get hopefully optimized software.
