I used amins cm 001 as base.
Didnt have time to test it and must use my phone for work, so i cant test it.
This is to be flashed via cwm recovery. It is for unlocked BL and need Fxp kernel or doomkernel for fxp (doomkernel got reported with no network..)
Please do a nandroid backup in recovery!! I am not responsible for anything.
Waiting for bug reports.

Yes it flashed ok. I using X10_FXP_DooMKernel-v05a-FS-BootManager-v1.3. I just did flash again &:
Both times google talk fc'd during setup. Setup wizard also FC'd. This time it has loaded lockscreen but when i unlock a black screen appears (except for status bar which appears as usual). Also yes can confirm no mobile network at moment. I hope this info helps in some way buddy.
Edit: It no longer boots past blue & white super OSR animation (keeps showing the screen-off animation but very slowly).

Gonna try fxpkernel now. Yeah it didnt load up launcher just status bar. I also tried fix permissions but as i say not sure if it helped as i could not boot phone after restarting it.

FXP kernel is doing the same thing. I didnt spot the setup fix u posted so gonna try it now see if it makes difference. (will take me little while i ran out of battery almost & need to do NAND restore so I can transfer fix to my SD). Ill get back to you about this when i try it

Ok just mount sdcard in recovery thank you for your effort
i flashed the fix it stopped FC issue but home launcher is still failing to load. I can also confirm that WIFI is not working for me (couldnt scan but it gave me option to add connection. So i entered full SSID & password but nothing happened). Another thing i just noticed i get WLOD if I press volume buttons when it is frozen (after unlocking screen lock).

Try installing an other launchet through recovery. Goto my vmod thread and download any launcher. Then flash it with bootmanager in xrec. Waiting for your answer ;P
Forgive if there are similar threads about this topic.
I suffered from scrolling cwm so i tried this fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27830023&postcount=41
It worked excellent but when i lock my screen and unlock it again it starts flickering like shown in this video: http://youtu.be/P6fMxjFdpJE
I have tried to do factory resets both from recovery and flash an original firmware. Nothing works.
Is it possible to get this fixed or am i screwed?

When you tried the fix noted above, I assume the screen didn't roll when you rebooted then into CWM recovery. At that point did you flash a ROM and THEN reboot to find the flicker after locking the screen, or did you do a reboot back into the same stock HC after flashing the bootloader and experience the problem?
I'm contemplating flashing this same bootloader because I have a rolling CWM5.5.0.4 right now and I want to stabilize it - but just so that I can root...not thinking about a ROM just yet...
Just to inform you all, i also had to flash a different bootloader after installing cm9 on my p7511, wich is in fact a 7510. For the records, pershoot made the new bootloader for exactly that issue, not backwards. But seems to work also.
What i deal now with, is that after flashing the uk ics for p7510 to my tab, the stock recovery doesn't recognize my sdcard. Can't mount sdcard...
Could be that a repartitioning with pit file will be necessary afterwards for us all.
Edit: thanks to the wise help of msedek, i know by now that my hind was totaly wrong. My mentioned point has to do with the Changes within stock recovery of ics, which have been made to prevent changes from there.
Getting more confident..
OK so it is sounding like this is definitely better. One more question:
I'm following the stickied root guide in General and that method uses CWM 4.0.0.4...I had reflashed that version. If I want to flash this boot loader should I flash 5.5.0.4 first? Or does it matter if I'm just trying to root right now?
EDIT: Flashed the bootloader which straightened out the recovery!! Successfully rooted after that. Downloaded root apps (ROM manager/Titanium/etc). Then turned off my screen - FLICKER CITY!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1680738 <<< THIS fixed it. Load this kernel into the root of your tablet and flash it with CWM. Seems to have done the trick nicely and I'm exploring my newly rooted tab! My wife no longer wants to kill me either.

I have the same problem on my P7500 3G and the minute i load the bootloader to fix CWM recovery rolling i get the screen flickering after lock screen.
Rom: ICS 4.0.4
Build Number: IMM76D.XXLQ8
BaseBand7500XXlQ8
Kernel: 3.1.10
Still stuck.
Hi guys,
Gtab 10.1 Wifi here. Fix didn't worked, somehow...
After installing official ics from Samsung and rooted, i had the same insane flicker issue. I followed this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1680738 - , flashed new kernel, and now i cant pass Samsung Galaxy Tab logo for some reason, not even past half an hour.
Im in a dead end, even tried installing back CM9 but it also wont pass the splashing blue screen.
Any ideas?
cheers!
EDIT : After some reboots, finally managed to boot into ICS (CM9) but now i was pushed back to the step 1, where I don't have a working camera, but I have root access and non official ICS from Cyanogen. I am afraid re-doing all my work and get stuck again in the scrambled screen after it updates the kernel..
I'm I missing something, guys?
Hi there!
Are you still having problems?does this guide here work for you?:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1555984
I've found something, the kernel flash package changes our devices' WiFi driver, that's why it doesn't work.
sorry for not giving a fix until tomorrow,it's sleep time here,I know my excuse will be accepted because you all care for basic human needs...
But please inform me if that guide(Pershoot's) has fixed your problem, thanks for that

Hello everyone !
my atrix start gets crazy... when i turn it on, after 5 seconds its got reboot.
and the battary precentege is going from 100 % to 40 % after the reboots..
what i should do ?
thank u :good:
Did you try to change the kernel? Sometimes that helps, in my case for the GB based roms i solved it that way
Hi
you don't say if you have changed anything recently (eg installed a new rom).
What i would recommend is you go into recovery and wipe your cache, reboot and see how that is.
If you have your current rom on your sd card then reinstall it (no need to wipe data)
If you have installed a new rom, try to go back to a more stable one that works for your phone.
good luck

Well it can bee battery or WIFI/BT chip. You can check does your wifi an bluetooth work if they doesn't work or provide error mesages then your chip has burned out and you need to delete WIFI/BT driver or check does whit other battery your phone work.
But maybe it can be solved whit just factory reset and wipe caches in recovery. Hope that this will help you.
P.S.
If you can't check your phone whit other battery you can use factory cable, and then battery isn't necessary.

You can tray this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1656760 where wifi/bt driver alredy is deleted but you can use other rom and delete dhd.ko file. It can bee stored in different locations and whit different name for different rom:
/system/lib/modules
/system/lib/
or for example in ICS leak rom /system/lib/modules/bcm4329.ko
But if you can't do it just upload rom somewhere in internet share link and I will modify it for you.

This is the ONLY thread you guys will talk about the CrDroid ROM.
DONT post questions or whatever at the other leaked AOSP ROM thread else it'll create much confusion
So far annoyances thats been reported are:
• Random reboots (at least for some people)
• Auto-brightness
• Underclocked CPU
• Not working HDR & Panaroma (solved with workaround)

Regarding Random Reboots !
I have been using the ROM since yesterday though i have yet not observed a single reboot . I have tried following things as suggested in AOSP thread however it does not give me a reboot. Auto Brightness is the only lingering issue i faced !
Any pointers to reproduce the reboots ?

Done... Flashing went ok but after booting all my apps are gone (I didnt do a clean wipe while flashing.. only wiped dalvik)
The apps are gone anyway.. so i went back to recovery and did another clean flash.. Reboot the phone, but no mobile network. Unable to latch on to network even manually.. so may be there is something missing in the boot.img ?
Back key
Anyone can confirm back key in this rom didnt behave as it should after deleting pre-install files such as baidu services apps
edit 1 - looks like it has been warned by the dev as do not delete keyboard input method or else back button wont work..
Where is the link to the ROM. I'd update OP. Also, is there any bugs with the ROM? Or is it working like AOSP?

Hi all,
I have a strange problem that i can't seem to find elsewhere, another wifi one. I am connected to wifi and it shows that i'm connected and shows send/receive arrows. When i try to do something that requires wireless it is like i am not connected even though i am. I have had this problem before and a factory reset or 2 (or 3) normally fixes it. this time i can't fix by factory resetting. btw, i am rooted using cyanogen mod version 11.0

You could try flashing a different modem on your phone or update or change the rom. Since it works after a few flashes, we can rule out that this isn't an issue with your router.

i only rooted last week with cyanogen mod. Isn't that changing the rom? it has had problems before and after this. I have a feeling it's hardware.
Just did some more research on i9100s and wifi... seems to be many problems. Could it be the leaky battery on the main board? i would have thought that would have completely disabled wifi but maybe not

I doubt it is a battery problem. What I meant was to update to a newer (snapshot) of CM11 or try a previous version of android (4.4.2 or 4.1.2).

Sometimes could be your modem/router not connected to the net but your S2 do to it...

Defiantely not router as other devices were connected and working. Flashed CM11 the other day. I did sone further research and it appears that whatever controlls the wifi gets corrupted and reflashing the rom fixes this. All good, have a backup now so fixing this problem is now a 10 minute event rather than mindless resetting for an hour.
