issue: moving apps from internal storage to SD-card (XT1524) - E 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Moving apps to SD-card is not working correctly. Why?
After every reboot/restart a lot of apps are not on the start screen anymore and have to be moved again from the list with all apps.
Google browser is not working after moving to SD-card.
Data is not on the SD-card from apps moved.
How to solve this issue?

[Q] Android can't move app to SD problem

I have a rooted LG G Pro Lite Dual with stock ROM.
The first reason I rooted my android is to move apps to SD. But on my device, i can't!
I used Link2SD+ to move the apps, but not even one app moved. App moving action is always came with a message, it says:
FAILURE
App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage.
It also said - Second partition not found -
Please, help me :crying:

If you are rooted, you can move the game data by using Folder Mount or GL to SD app!!
No other way??

it occupies 1.5 gb of internal storage and the data cannot be moved to sd and that is the reason for full storage issue..if u uninstall it then u'l get full storage.and if you want that game and storage too then you have to root your phone...
I watched a youtube video...A guy had asphalt 8+subway surf+2-3 more games in his unrooted moto e still his internal storage was not full

Yes the phone supports Hindi script. Just download Hindi keyboard from play store works fine for me.
How much storage should the Moto E have from a factory reset? I've had low storage errors already and I have no games installed. I have Pocket casts set to external SD, Deezer caching to external SD and I have just a handful of other apps - Tweetings, Flickr, WhatsApp, HSBC and a few other small apps - yet I currently have just 707MB free. I'm not sure if this is normal. I tried to use Plants VS Zombies but that is just large enough to prevent many updates installing. I do wish Moto had added just a little bit more storage.
If I use an Apps To SD method will this kill off my SD card quite rapidly? I've always though that they weren't designed to be used for anything but general storage.
general usable storage size is approx 2.2 GB on internal memory.
From my perspective App2SD is safe because it only moves 'statical' files such as .apk (the app), .so (libs), .dex (dalvik-translation). Once those files have been generated they won't be altered. So future handling of those files only is read access and not write access.
So I do not really see any threat for ageing of SD-Card.
I am using Moto E from last 6months, day before yesterday I update my Moto E to Lolipop. But from that day m facing internal memory, m using only Whatsapp Share it and M-indicator thats it. But now m not able to download Facebook app, because when I try to install facebook app from playstore 1 pop up window shows on my screen that insufficient memory. So I deleted all the images videos etc from my mobile still same problem m facing... Please help.

[FIX] Asus Memopad 7 ME176c. Apps disappearing on reboot

First, root the device using RootZenPhone.
Second, install Link2SD. Run it, and you will see that apps that uninstall on reboot appear as if they were on SD (it's not really that way, read below).
Tell Link2SD to move those apps to internal.
Done.
----------------------------------------------------------
How did I come to this workaround:
I first found that all applications that disappeared on reboot wrote data to /mount/asec, and that the data was wiped out on reboot.
I was trying to move apps to sd with different apps, with no success. But I found that Link2sd gave me the option to move apps to SD. BUT what it really does is not moving them to SD. It moves apps to /mount/asec.
That's where all the applications that disappearead on reboot had data writen to it.
I found, also, that all those apps appeared on Link2SD as if they were on the SD. So I moved all of them to Internal.
And it did the trick! Now applications don't disappear!
-----------------------------------------------------------
I don't fully understand this thing about applications in /mount/asec, and the apparent "confusion" that link2sd has about /mount/asec and external sd, but it worked. And I wonder if anyone with a deeper knowledge about Android could use this observation to also solve the issue about not being able to move apps to sd in this tablet.

If you wiped your internal storage, you will get empty message only...!
If you have other problem, describe it in detail
Yes i am facing problems.
File managers show the internal empty but if i search a particular file/folder it works fine. (i.e. i hav to use the search function of the file manager every time i want to see anything from internal)
I can move/copy from internal to sd card but am unable to do the vice versa(sd card to internal). Basically i cannot write on internal now. So i cannot enjoy playing games(modded) with obb files.
The Google play music thumbnails seem to disappear some how.
WhatsApp seems to crash frequently. Some other apps crash too. (I have a friend with the same phone rooted, with the same stock rom version and with the same whatsapp version working just fine).
I cannot even download any photo from chrome as it saves in internal by default. It shows an error message!
And all of this is happening just from the day i wiped my internal.
Need help. How to undo this?
