Hi. I've bought an xperia z2 from a friend and i think i might have a big problem here. It keeps rebooting for no reason at random moments when i'm using it. It freezes like 3-4 sec and then it reboots. I'm really concerned about this problem... is this a software or a hardware problem and how can it be fixed? When I bought it the android version it came with was 5.1.1 and I flashed it now to 5.0.2 with no success. Also every incident is being reported in the software incidents but it is not shown any information about it. What can I do? I will be forever thankful if you can help me out!
check bootloader at first. It looks like software problem. Can you tell me which compilation you have?
I just flashed a few minutes ago official version 4.4.4 kitkat and I'm afraid to install any app at all...
Could you tell me where can i find the bootloader version please?
Also how can i upload a picture here? Thank you.

Hello Guys,
I'm kind of a noob in Desire X, i got it from a online site 2 days ago.
Now the problems I'm facing is that -
1) The GPS isn't working at all and I can't find any satelites while my Galaxy Y can find.
So I want to flash the latest stock rom here which might lead to a fix for this issue.
Can anyone tell me how to flash stock rom here and where can I find it?
Thanks in Advance

A Jelly Bean update has started rolling out to Desire Xs today, if you keep checking for software updates on your phone, you might find that it will be available very soon. From there you could then make a nandroid backup, and then try solving the issues if the software update does not fix the gps issues.
Wait for at least 5 minutes an go outside to get a gps lock... always works for me...
Recently I updated my galaxy alpha from software update in about device menu. Now,I have too many problems such as overheating. Also gallery is not working. Is there anyway to go back? I mean to go to the version before update.

Hello,
Which model do you own? If its G850A then you're out of luck, since there are no downloadable firmwares online and you're stuck with Lollipop. If not then it might be your devices issue since there havent been any bug reports such as overheating on KitKat.
So no, there is no way to downgrade your current software unless your model is G850F.
Best regards,
James

Hello I had problems with overheating with kit Kat and found out that one of 8 cores was at 100%, I found out that step meter in s health causing this problem. So I tried to pause the step meter with no luck.
finally I stopped the s health app and because I couldn't uninstall it. And the problem solved.
so give it a try. Try to disable s health app.
Ps. Not only overheating, but emptying battery was an issue that solved too.
Please help me, I have a galaxy alpha g850f lollipop 5.0.2 fingerprint sensor does not work Is there a solution to this problem?
I am using Moto E(1st Gen) for the past 10 months. I got this handset with Android 4.4.2 later got an upgrade to 4.4.4 which I did happily. But after that upgrade I started facing frequent re boot issues which was less in the earlier stages but for the past one month its rebooting minimum 10 times a day. Getting irritated because of this. The I heard about the soak test lollipop has been rolling out for my handset so upgraded to 5.0.2. But the re boot issue is still noit solved. Can anyone tell a possible realistic way to fix this issue?? Thanks in Advance

Hi Guys,
Please kindly help where you can,
I'm using an Xperia Z ultra (C6833) , since I have updated it from kit kat 4.4.4 to lollipop 5.1.1 in December 2015 the screen has been flickering so badly. I tried switching off the adaptive brightness option as read through other forums and xdaforum but nothing helps. I've sent multiple emails to Sony thinking they would assist but all I got was to be referred to an authorised Sony repair centre. The phone works fine fewer times but most times it gives me headaches with flickering.
I tried downgrading twice using flashtool and ftf stock rom file but it was soft bricked, it bootloops forever. I had to repair using Sony companion suite 2.1 to get it working again but the problem persists.
I have tried all possible ways to fix the problem but I
The question I have...
1. I want to downgrade to kit kat 4.4.4 from lollipop 5.1.1 without rooting or unlocking bootloader, is that possible?
Please kindly HELP,
After upgrading my M4 Aqua (E2303) to Marshmallow, I can't make or receive phone calls (except occasionally). I've tried repairing the MM install with Xperia Companion, but that doesn't help. Booting into safe mode doesn't help either.
According to the Sony forums, other people have had this problem as well, and there is no Sony solution forthcoming. One person has said that going back to Lollipop solved the problem. However, when looking into how to go back to Lollipop, apparently I need a Lollipop FTF file to use with Flashtools. But I can't find any for the M4, just Marshmallow ones. Does anyone know where one is to be found? Or has any other advice about fixing the call problem in Marshmallow? That would be much appreciated.
Actually, even a generic Lollipop version would do, I'd be quite happy to debrand at the same time.

Thanks for that. I'm still waiting to hear from Sony, to see what they say first, but I may have to use that.
I went back to Lollipop using Flashtools and a Lollipop FTF file I found on Xperia blog:
http://www.xperiablog.net/forum/resources/categories/xperia-m4-aqua.78/
The file I used was the one called 'E2303_26.1.A.2.167_R16A_UK Generic_1293-9369'.
All my problems have now gone away.
It's not easy working out exactly how to downgrade. The best instructions were probably these:
http://www.xperiablog.net/2016/03/12/install-xperia-marshmallow-using-flashtool-and-xperifirm-guide/
But there's quite a few complications, and I found reading around the web on this issue helped.
There is a risk involved. There's no guarantee it will work. You may end up bricking your phone. (But my phone had become pretty much useless anyway.)
