Tried using 4.4.4 Root (CF-Auto Root) .. successful at first boot. But when you restart/power off. It won't turn on..
Only works in Download Mode .. No recovery mode
Yeah. I tried that on my SM-A300F too but if your device isnt running on the same built id*KTU84P.A300FXXU1ANL1 then it wouldn't work. I just hope CF will update the new CF-Auto root.

Wait.. I am not sure what to do here.
1.I go to download mode, flash the cfautoroot.zip for 4.4.4 eventhough I am 5.0.2 right?
2.then you say flash the recovery.img from 5.0.2 StockRom file.
this is the part I don't quite get it. Cause you said dont reboot.
Do I flash it when my phone is turned on or should I put it in download mode to flash???
EDIT: OK ignore the all of the above. I got it now. I was stupid and blind. lol
EDIT2: All work perfectly. THANKS

but when I shut it down it also automatically goes into recovery. Even if I choose power down in the stock recovery it stills reboots into recovery. I can boot it back up perfectly tho but now I just can't fully shut my phone down.
How did you manage to shut your phone down?
I shut down my phone via option from holding power button.
did you shutdown your phone by holding the power button for a period of time or you choose from the option from holding the power button for a few seconds??
Edit: I got it. I went to download mode via terminal emulator and then shutdown from there.

Thank you very much for your instructions and I was able to upgrade my firmware to ********BOD9 (Russia). I did not feel any lagginess and the upgrade is smooth and stable from 4.4.4 to Android Lollipop 5.0.2 ********BOD9 (Russia). After I updraded the firmware, I root my phone using CFRoot 4.4.4, followed your instructions carefully. I did extra work to make sure the system is clear so that there will be no lagginess. After flashify the recovery.img and boot.img rebooted the phone by flashify it went back to the recovery. Then I wipe data cache and wipe cahe. Go to bootloader mode and again install ********BOD9 using ODIN V 3.10.6 and root and copy the recovery.img and boot.img of ******BOD9 to external SD Card. Next flashify the recovery.img and boot.img and reboot. Then the problem of recovery still exist. I off my phone for 2 minutes. Turn on my phone again, do restart and the problem of going to recovery was gone. Take note that flashify will be used for 3 flashing per day. If you consume the 3 flashing don't reboot your phone, patiently wait for 1 day and flashify the recovery and boot.img then reboot using flashify. It will bring you to the bad recovery and reboot system. Now my phone is updated to Android 5.0.2, no lagginess & no stuttering and no recovery problem. The only problem problem is I cannot backup my rom. Still waiting for CWM Recovery for SM-A300F.
Thx this helped but after rooting it, when I turn off the screen, after a while, it reboots and I don't know how to stop it. Any help please?

Hi. Thanks for handling my query. I am planing to buy this kind of tablet too. However, I really want to know if I can grant root access in this device.
Update? I guess you can temporarily uninstall your SU if it hinders you to download updates for your device. Then, you can root your device again after applying updates.
(Why, is there any update for this device like Android 6.0 update?)

Tried KingRoot and Rootgenius but those didn't work on Marshmallow release
KingRoot worked on TAB 2 A10-30F but it lose root when rebooted tablet also you can not update supersu binary with kingoroot. So kinda stuck there.
I tried also that TWRP which you linked. Worked but could not install anything i.e. supersu TWRP.
So if somebody know where to find working TWRP for TAB 2 A10-30F for Marshmallow release

hello friends, can now explaned to install a custom recovery for this model?
and need more information for unlock bootloader lets create now Forum for PULP FAB 4G
thanks for your best helping
Hello, Wiko Pulp FAB 4G can be rooted with kingroot. I'm trying to search on various forums about cwm, philz or twrp but nothing...
The bootloader seems to be already unlocked because communication in fastboot mode works.
I think the beginig before custom ROM is a custom recovery but I don't have any information... sorry.
Hello friend i search but dont see nothing.... Your team xda need developer twrp custom for this modelo.....
I have unlock bootloader but i have this:
Then I used this command
"fastboot oem unlock"
It promted for the confirm (yes [Volume Up] or No [Volume Down]).I pressed volume up key.But Nothing happened. Then I pressed volume down button. it said "unlock failed..... return to fastboot in 3s"
after 3 seconds :
Select Boot Mode :
[VOLUME_UP to select. VOLUME DOWN is OK]
[Recovery Mode]
[Fastboot Mode] <<==
[Normal Mode]
=> FASTBOOT mode.....
I tried to select the mode. But No key was worked.
Good morning,
Have you tried (on normal usage) to enable oem unlock in : parameters - {} developers option - enable oem unlock = ON.
Maybe after this, reboot fastboot mode and retry...
Best regards.
root and twrp recovery
Hello,
I have some news about root and twrp recovery
1) ROOT
You can root Wiko pulp fab 4G with kingroot.apk using it directly in the phone.
If somebody want to replace kinguser by supersu then use "Replace_Kinguser_with_SuperSUv2.4" searching on google
2) TWRP
I made an adapted twrp witch works : http://dl.free.fr/jlC9Opl5O (only a little display problem : you can see a small cursor on the middle screen)
You can flash Twrp_3.0.0.2_PulpFab4G.img using fastboot or flashify (unzip file before).
That's all

Mmm sorry i do not see. Maybe a stupid question but i prefer to ask it, you tried to install it on the pulp fab 4g and not pulp 4g or pulp fab 3g?
Also it is strange that your phone reacts like this because one time i installed a bad recovery on my pulp fab 4g (it was the ridge fab recovery lol) and the only problem was there was no recovery anymore.
And normally the recovery has no influence on the system partition but when you install or delete or format something.
Maybe you were unlucky.? But won't tell you to try again lol but if you have time to kill if it doesn't work again maybe you can try.
Recovering the recovery
Hi there, I also intalled the .img in a Pulp 3G and I have no access to the recovery and also the pone doesn't recognize the SIM card. I think I was really unlucky. Do you know a way I can solve this? I have tried to hard reset my pone but no reset is done at the end. I have tried to instal the firmware and nothing also. I think thing will get better if I am able to recover the recovery, how did you do it? any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hello,
This recovery. Img is for the pulp fab 4g and only the pulp fab 4g.
It is normal that you can't reset your phonr because it need the stock recovery.
So if you have no recovery anymore you do not have so much solutions.
1st find the stock recovery somewhere maybe on forum or to someone having the same phone than you and install it like you did with this one.
Maybe the app you used to install this recovery made a back up of your stock recovery.
Last thing I know is to flash your phone completely....
In fact i don't know why your phone doesn't recognize the sim card anymore.... Strange....
Hope it helps you...
Thanks for your answer.
I've been trying to get the stock recovery. I used Rashr to do the flashing but unfortunatly it didn't make the backup (my bad). Any suggestion or tutorial on how to flash the phone? As I cannot access to the recovery I don't know how to do it.
I am also worry about the sim card detection, so I am convince I have to hard reset the pone but I can't. Any recommendation will help
Thank you!

Thank you!

Ok don't worry,
To flash the phone you have to download (on a windows computer) the stock rom that is findable on wiko site or search on Google "your phone model (pulp 3g?) stock firmware" and you will quickly find the thing. About 700 Moctet.
Unzip and install the exe file. Follow the instructions. One time the app on your computer will ask you to press vol+ and - for three seconds and plug your phone to computer. In fact you have to plug while keeping pushing those vol + and -
CAUTION EVERYTHING WILL BE ERASED ON YOUR PHONE.
Normaly everything should be good

Hello,
I have some news about root and twrp recovery
That's all

Thank you. I can confirm that this works perfectly for both the Wiko Pulp 4G and the Wiko Pulp Fab 4G.
Edit: made a guide for these phones http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/guide-wiko-pulp-4g-pulp-fab-4g-root-t3436580

Hello, sebi3481!
First of all, thanks for the customized twrp.img.
As previously reported by @Adnihil, it works for Wiko Pulp 4G, too.
Would you be so kind to send your .img back to TWRP team for review? Maybe they could add our device(s) to supported list afterwards.
Thanks! :good:
Hi guys,
Probably been discussed before, but I couldn't find all the answers I need.
I have honor 9 STF-L09, version STF-L09C432B100.
The phone bootloader is unlocked, rooted and have TWRP recovery.
Sorry for the muiltiple questions.....
I want to update it to the latest stock ROM (I have no problem wiping the memory).
I thought about using HuRUpdater tool, is that the best method?
I couldn't find a 'Global' ROM version, which should I choose?
Will I have to do incremental update with this tool?
Do I must change the recovery to this one? is there a better version? Do I need the capacitive touch fix (I didn't have any problem with capacitive touch).
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
They 're no public nougat proper recovery working with HuRUpdater. The one you linked is for oreo.
So i guess you'll have to :
- flash back STF-L09C432B100 stock recovery
- then update tje normal way to oreo via OTA
- if not getting OTA, you could force it with android apps 'Firmware Finder' to update to STF-L09C432B183. Then you should finally got the normal OTA update to STF-L09C432B364.
This process should not mess with your flashlight or caoacitives buttons.

I am already on B100 and its recovery.
Since I'm rotted with TWRP I can't get OTAs (I do but it doesn't work)
What is "tje"?

Can you please elaborate, I have no idea what you're talking about and how do I force OTA?
Thanks
I think "tje" is just "the" . I think you have to start with clean device : stock rom ( in this case stock recovery too : flash back STF-L09C432B100 stock recovery ) and update with Firmware Finder, to 183 first, 364 after.
ADD : for me, just my way, don't hurt me if I'm wrong : ) I open FF, select correct rom , hit button " get an update trough dns " " auto", go to parametre / update , system find the update, go back to FF, close it, update still DL, sometimes , when finish , update can't start, so I reboot my device, return to parametre / update and it's ok.

twrp is a custom recovery and you need to have a stock recovery for OTA update to work.
So : 'flash back STF-L09C432B100 STOCK recovery'
You could get it by using windows app 'Huawei Update Extractor' on the file 'Update.app' included inside the firmware file 'update.zip' 's STF-L09C432B100.
Don't mind your root access: you'll loose it during the update.

just a typo in place of 'the' ; like your 'rotted' in place of 'rooted'

Because you state that you're getting the OTA notifications : You won't have to FORCE them. So don't bother.

So you're saying I need to extract the stock recovery and flash it using fastboot. /then I will update normaly via OT to the latest version.
Then I need to re-root and reinstall the custom recovery.
Did I understand you correctly?
Where can I find the STF-L09C432B100 firmware?
Many thanks
Yes.
Yes.
Yes. https://yadi.sk/d/Y2yuM--73Lb9Kk/update.zip
It's C432B120 but its stock recovery is the same as B100.
Thank you all.
I flashed the stock recovery and managed to OTA update all the way to the most recent version.
Now I need to find which custom recovery is appropriate for new version

Thanks. I did that, it works
I already asked in the post you linked. bit do you knwo what's the difference between "fastboot flash recovery" and "fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk"?
I did as instructed in the OP ("fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk"), but I can't load TWRP from power off using power button + down button.
TWRP does load when using "adb reboot recovery_ramdisk". Is that the reason?

From power off, using power button + up button will give you recovery mode.

LOL, my bad. Thanks
Hey everyone,
last month I unlocked and rooted my phone, then used this tool to put on the newest firmware (at the time 366). Now, I'd like to update to the newest firmware (368). Is there anything special I need to do or can I just dirty flash it per see? Do I use the FullOTA-MF files or the OTA-MF files?
Thanks in advance for your help.
