I already belong to a team, The Darkforest Group, and I work on the sidelines for ICX, more of a backup developer.
I don't really have much time, as I am sixteen and still at school
I will be working on this as and when I can, I have a full-time job and work 11 hours a day so progress may be slow
Saturday i will be trying to compile cm9 with cm_split 3g.
Nickholtus is already helping by working on a kernel for me so things are looking good
Any other help will be much appreciated

I respect your work and would love to have you help me with this.
Merging miui into cm9 is no easy task and this is my first ever project.
I have only read up a small part on these matters and at 38 years old its harder to learn.
I am going to stick to this project until it is perfect as I am sure this will keep alot of play owners happy.
I will be working hard over the weekend to try and get a build to boot... wish me luck!

Kernel is easy, but if you dont compile CM9 with VMSPLIT_3G then it will not boot.

sorry for delay was out last night on mates stag so... i get an Error 6 on both kernels :/
Error 6 is the update.zip not recognizing a valid flash target.
You'll have to edit some line in there for that, and try again.
Help me out with which one, guys ^^..
If you go into the script-updater and replace \r\n with \n it will then install (thanks restless123)
Still need a kernel though, Im not quite sure, but now that miui is open source experienced devs could build a complete miui v4 for the play without having to port it..

Strange thing keeps happening only noticed it wen I get an email I use yahoo mail when email comes thru screen goes black then back to home screen keeps doing it until I dismiss email any idea what I can do cuz I want to keep yahoo mail app
Update **** deleted yahoo mail synced with Gmail and its doing same
No 1 at all
it even does it wen I update apps in play store aswell
It's like it's refreshing the screen like normal wallpaper then black screen then back 2 wallpaper keeps doing it until I remove email or update

You are not alone I have same kind of trouble : as soon as I get a notification (incoming sms, gmail, huawei mail, launching deezeer ...) my Mate 10 Pro get a black screen for 1 second, refresh the wallpaper and set back to home screen every 5 seconds ! I have to read the message or delete the notification (this work around is not working 100%) or kill tasks to get ride of these bug.
This is very very annoying. This bug appeared since perhaps 2 weeks. The phone was working without this bugs since 1 and 1/2 month.
It seems to be a problem with notifications management, If I disable all there is no problem anymore :laugh: ... but that is not a good idea.
Please Huawei give us a patch.

I managed to get rid of this notifications bug. I reset all notifications to default and installed latest Huawei Mate 10 pro updateBLA-L29 8.0.0.129 (C432).
I don't know if notifications reset was mandatory prior to upgrading but now the notifications are OK and don't set me back to home screen each time

Hello Rinazzle,
(my huawei is configured in French language, so the english menu will differ from what i'have writen here under)
Options > Application & Notifications > Applications then choose parameter icon at the bottom
Choose "Special application autorisations" > "Superpose to other applications"
Choose the 3 dot ... at top right of the screen > Reset to Default
(There was an other menu : Choose "Modify system parameters" then the 3 dot icons "..." at top right > "Reset to Default"
