Hi,
Alerts notification is always showing by switching on the screen even though there is no alerts.
I can't switch off the alert slider also as it will put my phone in silent.

Hi,
Yes I did it in the morning today and will update on the progress here.
Update:
Checked again and issue still there.
Even after switching off the Notify option in Messenger App, phone keeps on showing that there is a message received.

Yes, I am on 2.1.3 - X
Cleaned the cache and was fine till I received a SMS and then it started showing the notification again & again.

You should go into Messenger app and erase data, close it and reopen.
Maybe it will solve it.

go on home screen and pull down notification control from top and then click three lines (to clear notification bar) to dismiss it? Not sure if this is what you have to do.

Thanks, but the issue is with the phone is getting ON when it is locked & always shows that there is a SMS received.

Try to go to menu Cutomuization an desactivate LED.
Re Wipe cache from recovery and reboot.
If it doesn't work, try to flash over the complete 2.1.3-X zip

Did you dirty flash custom ROM? If so you have to do clean flashing of it. I had similar issue yesterday when I did dirty flash of CM 12.1 v3 but after clean flash this notification issue has been resolved for me. So, try clean flash of rom if you had dirty flash.

Upgraded my phone yeasterday to Android Revolution HD 32.0. Did Full wipe and istalled the rom. When done and reboot of the phone i get this message right before the pincode do unlock the phone.

The earlier rom i come from was ARHD 25.0. Have i done any wrong or do i have to make the steps once again to let go the message?

I did the wizard today but still get that message The phone is running smooth and everything works. Just ignore the message?
One more thing, the sms tone is not working, the phone only vibrates. It worked on earlier ARHD Rom.
Try another rom is all you can do and read the rom thread see if others have the problem .

I read some other threads and found out that Quadrant was the app who was ****ing my phone

So you uninstalled Quadrant and it's gone?
I've been having the same issue, I'm going to uninstall Quadrant and reboot now...

yes, it's gone. So for me quadrant was the problem, i haven't tried to installed it again Hope it works for u.

Hmm.
It's still there strangely.
I'm going to run a few things in SD Maid and see if that changes anything...
If not, I may look at doing a full wipe and reflashing..

just flashed a new 4.3 rom on my S3 and after i installed all the apps this msg started to appear after every restart... i googled it and i found that This issue occurs when applications are changed or moved from phone to memory card or vice versa!!
i still dont know what to do im just ignoring it for now :S

Did you ever solve this problem? I have tried with TWRP: Fixed permissions, wiped Dalvik cache and other cache. Problem persists.

I used TWRP's Fix Permissions and the problem is gone. Hopefully for good.

I was wondering if anyone could help me on this issue. Viper has had very few problems since I've utilized it, but SMS Text Messaging icon it says App isn't installed.

I would suggest a reflash. I would try a dirty flash first, wipe the Davik and Cache - flash over. If that fails to work, I'd wipe it all out and sideload the ROM via recovery ADB and see if you get any better results.

Is there a walkthrough for this? I really don't want to go flashing things and accidentally wipe something hat I shouldn't.
So your saying to... wipe Dalvik.. Cache, and the reflash?

Figured it out, I feel quite stupid now. Had to remove the icon from my hotbar and replace it with the stock android sms application, apparently I never installed the replacement that the icon was bound to.
My phone randomly freezes and i have to reboot everytime it happens. Anyone have an idea why this happens? I tried different ROMs and Kernels, but I still get that problem.

Problem solved. SMCS was missing.

I don't get that issue with the clock, if you really need to use the clock app try downloading a clock app from the play store or re-flash the rom.
i was thinking to reflash the rom but didnt want to loose the data ive got on the phone as google doesnt always remember everthing

when reflashing the rom using SPflashtool uncheck userdata and flash it all the data will remain on the phone
Try to install another Clock app from PlayStore and disable the default Clock app.

I'm on official 7.1.1 lineageos. I was watching a video on youtube and the phone got a bit laggy after a while, i restarted it and then the notification drawer wont pull down anymore, no notifications show and home + recents button wont work as well.
I tried searching in xda, androidcentral and other places, and tried to clear data/cache for all system-related apps. I tried restarting the phone, pulling out the battery for 10 mins, going in and out of safe mode, all with no luck.
Anyone faced such an issue and was able to resolve it without full wipe and install again please let me know. Thank you !!

Try dirty flashing your rom, flash your current rom in recovery and wipe cache and Dalvik cache only then reboot.

Okay i will look into it as a future solution. As for now, i clean flashed the rom.

I remember i used it once or twice when i was on JB and ICS. But KK was amazing so i didnt need it. And so far, LOS is flying :good: :good:
I got the same problem, I'm tired of reflashing everytime . All Nougat roms do this.
