Hi forum.
Ok be honest.
Am i the ony one here there hope to see progress from the development team so mutch, that i check in and read the forum 3 or 4 times each day...?
I am shure there will be a development soon.
Btw. This is only ment as a little fun dev support, as i can`t help in any other way than moral support...
Send from my X10
Well, to be honest...
Am doin the same thing too...
But i dont think they would have any ROM before 2.1 for x10 release....
I used to do it, now I just don't think it will ever happen
Waiting for the F'n update from SE now
naah...ive given up on SE long back...im rooting for the devs...i think they r making progress...they can get a custom rom on the phone...but it keeps on rebooting...and they have more brains helping them now...
P.S. Check the devs custom rom thread twice daily...
i too am checking this thread multiple times a day.
hope,hope hope.
I gave up. I think that Devs are trying there best but they need more help. One dev named "Ghorog kun" was making good progress but i think that he abandoned ship. So i am trying to swap my X10 for an HD2 although i think that x10i has better hardware.
Checking 4 Times a day.
Dear Devs
Please break this thing and give us full glory of X10.
i check it evry 2 hours relly !
plez Dev. we are waiting for u !
Same here, checking 3-4 times everyday.
I hope we will have some news soon.
Cheers
I'm checking it every day too Wish I was a dev so I could post in that thread too
Yeah im checking non stop I hope it happens soon! We need a site like engadget or gizmodo to call on devs to help out lol

Most of us do look up to our developers to crack the bootloader and bring better usability for our beloved X10 and one day they will have it.
For other Devs to find interest in such project, they need to have an X10.
Only thread that I check in Development.
I check it twice a dice. And pray for a cracked bootloader!
me too im checking the fourm 3-4 times put i gave up and i'm waiting htc desire hd
I am doing the same thing too, felt like an addict. I check at least 4 times a day even though I know there's not going to be much happening anytime soon. From what I see so far lots of effort have spent but only a few progress. Even if they manage to find ways to modify the spl and mcpu there's still a lot more to handle until we can load our own rom. But again, I still check no matter what.
I hope there will be progress soon
Checking the forum everyday.
I check here more then I check the update button on the phone.
Sent from my X10a using smoke signals.
I check once a day on average, hoping that they crack the bootloader before their patience wears out...much respect to the devs here.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10
Checking right now. I'm at page 33 atm. I'll see if I can help out.

he-he-he....I do not check for updates, do not expect it.
I read that the update was moved to the end of October
Sorrowfully
By this, we can only wait.
My blog http://xperiaminicyanogen.wordpress.com/ has been quite successful in attracting newbies to the power of custom roms. It also has help people to know the latest update in the custom rom without having to check in into XDA everyday. The problem is that on 26th May to 1 June, I will be busy participating on the National School Debating Championship. I think i will be too busy to manage the blog during those days. So I need help. I need someone to cover for me during that time. Your job mainly is :
1.Check in to XDA everyday at least once on development of x8, x10 mini and mini pro to check whether there's an update on the custom rom.
2. If there's an update, post it on the blog with the link to the installation thread
3. Reply to the occasional comments. It would be easier if you use the wordpress apps on your phone like I do.
I think that's all. If you are interested, just email me on [email protected] I will then reply with the instructions.

joon,
Regarding the kernel I think not. The kernel version in my pre-relase SW is 2.6.29.
.
Regarding 16M colors, as I understood it from the developers it required to much re-development which made it impossible to prioritize, sorry.
.
On air control, thanks for the hint! It seems to vary between 30 and 31 fps. As said before I’m trying to find out more on this.
I also tried the Quadrant standard test and got a score of 1033 points. It’s however important to remember that I’m running pre-release SW which first of all isn’t final but could have extra debugging enabled etc also.
.
TripNRaVeR,
Sorry but I had to remove your comment. A pity really since it was a long one and good one. Please remember to stay away from explicit language next time so that we can let it stay here. This being on our .com domain gives some rules I need to follow.
nice one Trip
another one time,se let us down.
Goodbye x10 and SE till you make a top spec phone unlike the Arc which is single core while everyone else is going dual core...

If you don't read the p.s here and the p.s there you will die.
P.s: read the p.s mota has given
This is a very pre alpha rom use it only if you know what you are doing. Don't blame the devs for anything..
Btw don't blame me too I'm just posting the link.
http://www.madteam.co/forum/index.php?topic=1767.0
I'd like to give it a go, but unfortunately I use my phone for calls most of the time, and can't afford a new one to try this rom out.
The best of luck to the developers though, I'm sure they'll do a great job.
Welcome to this help thread for HTC U12 LifeWhen you have no place to go you will surely find help here!
Hello! new users and welcome to XDA - Developers. We are a developer's forum, with the purpose of development. Out work can be used in several ways, and, we know that sometimes it could help you. So, in order to maintain our forums clean and properly organised, maintaining a proper development environment while at the same time to give you a chance to join our forums, we created this thread.
This thread is for sensible questions from new or inexpert users. If you think your question may be little basic for the wild Q&A forum then this is the place to ask it.
Here you shall find an atmosphere free of prejudice, where we will try to help you in your problem, answer your most basic questions and aid you on troubleshooting your device. We know that learning all the technicalities takes time, however they are necessary in order to interact with us.
Keep in mind that we are not technical support, we do not work for any company or get paid to help, we are just independent developers gathered in a community called XDA-DEVELOPERS. Therefore all we will do is guide you into troubleshooting your device yourself, but under no circumstances we are abided to do so.
Few things to remember before asking question.
1) Make a quick google search about your problem, may be you might find solution to it, if not at least you will find some new information.
also search for Q&A threads and if there is a frequently asked question thread, read it, might be some and already answered your question.
2) Be patient after asking question, Users might be online, offline, we don't know about the situation so give them bit of a time.
3) Describe in detail about
- Your Problem.
- What caused the problem.
- What all have you tried.
- Which all forums have you checked.
- And also information of the phone.
the more information we have , the more easy it will be for users to help you.
Don't just say "Please help, I F**** my phone " or. "My phone has gone nuts help me."
you want proper help from us, we need proper information for you .
We want you to become the kind of user we see as productive to a developer's community, and why not?, to be a developer yourself!. Do not think about how can I ask this silly question. remember every master was a noob once. Whats important is that you are willing to learn and improve.
Note to General Users:
This is a chance for more advanced users to "Give Back" (Like Iam doing now for the community) to XDA-Developers the knowledge we gathered together this time we have been here. This is a thread to behave in a tolerant way, taking into consideration that the users posting queries might have never even heard words like "Bootloaders, ROM", so, if you are not willing to be helpful, I kindly invite you to browse into another thread.
Moderators will not tolerate "flaming" or "trolling" in this thread as it is specifically provided for those who are still learning the basics.. We will delete and sanction without warning any post that show intention other than to help the new user.
As you may notice, I Copied this thread layout from @D.O.C M7 thread. Thanks in advanced.

The link is for U12+
U12 Life doesn't have "Personalize" option in the settings. It isn't possible to change navigation bar at all.
What's going on with this phone? There are *zero* posts about it anywhere outside this thread -- the "real life review" forum is completely empty. The retailers near me have cut the prices like the phone gives you the plague or something, currently 200 EUR for a phone that launched at 350. I'd think about buying one, since SD 636, 4/64GB, 1080p for 200 EUR is a steal, but I can't even find any accessories online. Is HTC in such a bad place that the phone died at launch?
I bought one online and I love it. 6" display, is fast, Bluetooth works well, The battery lasts forever. 1 day of heavy use and it only goes down to 65%. Great price on it..... only downside is I can't find any development on it but it has had 2 updates. running Oreo 8.1 and sense 10. I wouldn't be scared of it. What kind of accessories are you looking for? I have 2 cases for it I found on e-bay. Comes with a set of headphones.

Did you unlock bootloader in your u12 life?
I bought u12 life European unlocked version a couple days ago and I can`t get token required to generate unlock.bin file.
Try a couple time, Win 10 and Linux, always get this response :
Code:
C:\Program Files (x86)\HTC\HTC Sync Manager\HTC Sync>fastboot oem get_identifier_token
...
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time: -0.000s
htc_fastboot finished. total time: 0.267s
Does anyone successfully unlock bootloader on this device?

Nope, I tried at HTCDev but failed. Same code...Will only take a few fastboot commands in Bootloader. I posted here a while ago about getting root and nobody seems to be developing anything for this phone. I am just waiting but am fine with it not being rooted or unlocked. Microsoft launcher gives it a fresh look but I seem to go back to sense 10 after a short period of time.

Me too.
It seems that bootloader is unlockable for now : . I bought this phone because this is the cheapest device which supports 3CA and probably QAM256 ($210 in Poland). OOTB supports VoWIFI on my operator Play Poland. To activate VoLTE and lock LTE Bands root/magisk are needed and so unlock bootloader.
What build number and Android security patch date do you have in your U12 life? My build number is 1.53.401.1 and 1 November 2018 android patch date.

I was hoping someone from here would crack it but nobody seems to be interested.
I bought mine from Taiwan, a HTC store for $245 in December. took 1 week to get it which I thought was fast. Some waited months to get the HTC U 12plus. Attached some screenshots. w/build number and Radio info.

February 1st.
Hi at all,
i don't have this device but i'm interested on it, considering the actual price around 230/240 euro. I want to know if there are any chances that htc will release android Pie. According to all the news that i read, HTC will not provide Android 9 to this device, and this is really a shame. Does anyone have any news?

I am not sure if they are going to release Android Pie or not for the HTC Life, a few months back they released a update for bugs, but is running Oreo 8.1.
I did hear in the Taiwanese HTC forum that it would receive the Pie update in the 3rd Qrt but will wait and see. Nobody has confirmed or denied it yet. NBD for me as I run Pie on my M8 and M9 but but my HTC U12 Life battery's life is outstanding. Heavy use daily brings my battery down too maybe 65%.
New Update:
Awesome, april security patch
