And check if it works on your phone recording. If you do not hear your voice in the recording, you probably have a broken microphone.

After rooting my phone, I am getting this message when trying to make calls while roaming (which is 85% of the time while at home). Texts just won't send.
I contacted sprint and had them reset my network etc. But it is still doing it.
Anyone else having this problem? I can't seem to get a fix.
Yep this happens after s-off. Call sprint for a refresh.

I had to call them three times before the issue was resolved. If you get any error codes when you're making the call, be sure to tell Sprint. Also, I was told by Sprint, if when you make the call and receive the error, stay on the line and it will transfer you to the correct department. I kept hanging up in frustration and dialing *2 but the people I was getting through *2 weren't the most knowledgeable...
I'm sure you'll get it resolved, sometimes, unfortunately, it takes a lil while to get somebody at Sprint who is able to "fix" the issue...be persistent!
Revolutionary is all closed source so we're not sure why/how it triggers this and it is a very unfortunate and frustrating side effect of the current nand unlock method ... the things the manf/carrier make us do for nand unlock!
Tell them you are getting a "Error 16" and need a HLR Refresh. You can do this via chat, if they dont have you pull battery, they didnt do it!
my experience...
Today while I was way out on a bike trail was the first time I noticed this issue. I logged into my Sprint account and said I was "getting a "Error 16" and need a HLR Refresh"
The agent didn't argue, but then didn't ask me to restart/battery pull or anything. So, sounds like he may have been humoring me. I won't be able to check again till I am out on the trail again.

I don't know if it will help, but maybe calling Sprint while not roaming would work best for refreshing on their network.

Hi, Did you manage to fix this, I'm having the same problem on two Honor 7 handsets!!

Anyone would be able to help here, pls?
Are you guys sure its not a problem with your carrier? Only heard these reports from people in the UK, nothing on any other forum. Have you tested in any other location to rule out signal/interference issues?
Hi, I am also having the same issue. As per my additional analysis phone in sound stops working on a call if the phone's proximity sensor detects something. if you keep the phone away from the ear, or start a speaker Phone for that matter, the call goes through.
This is less than 3 months used.
Well, restarting the phone did solve this issue, however, it is not a viable option to restart the phone when this happens. the phone is now on Marshmallow.
Thanks
I messed with the phono information and after i did so when ever i send a text it says message not sent. Anyone know how to fix?

I have the same problem. Had any luck fixing it? I changed some APN settings in order to fix the 3G (which worked) but now I can't send texts.
It seems to be a problem with the sim card, as I tried putting it into my old phone, and I wasn't able to send texts there either. I am going to get a replacement sim to see if that fixes it.

Ok I think I seem to have fixed the problem (for me anyway).
Go onto the messaging app, hit the drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner and go into settings.
Then press "Text message(SMS)",
Then "SMS Service centre".
Here you need to enter the 'SMS service centre number' for your network (For example, on Talk mobile you enter +44 7785 014 318. For Vodafone you enter +44 7785 016 005). You can find the specific number you need by googling it.

Hi guys,
so I received my new LeMax2 today and I tried out the stock rom but decided it wasn't really doing it for me. So I decided to flashed ResurrectionRemix which worked fantastically until I realized that people where unable to call me. I could call them and I could use mobile data to browse but they just couldn't call me. So I thought "Well maybe thats a glitch of the ROM" so I flashed Small EUI but the problem remained. So, here is my question: Is that an issue that is known with LeMax 2s so is it likely that I have received a faulty unit? Or is it more likely to be something in the settings that I overlooked? Or even something with my contract? Any ideas?
Best regards
Reinstall the sms messanger and give it all permissions
Go to Settings > Backup & Reset > Reset network settings

Don't mess with sms messenger it has 0 to do with incoming calls
I had this issue on a few builds of LineageOS too. It seemed to resolve itself after a factory reset or something, I never really worked out why.
Thanks for all of your replies. I just wanted to inform you that it was actually a problem with the sim card. The phone works really nicely now.
Hello,
I have tried basically every custom Rom I found for my Redmi 5. And with every Custom Rom, I have the same issue:
The volume with voice calls is too low on maximum volume, especially on speaker phone.
And on speaker phone, the other person can hear themselves (atleast with all Oreo Roms, don't know about Nougat).
That only applies for Phone calls though. With a WhatsApp call, the volume and function of the call was perfect.
The only Roms that worked flawlessly with Phone calls are the Miui Stock Rom and the MIUI 10 EU ROM.
Does anyone have the same issue, and can someone tell me how to fix it? I would really appreciate it!
Thanks
only on oreo and pie.Audio call issues in device sources,it will be solved soon. hi
