I have a issue with my back button on my HTC HD2 it the one thats just to the left of the power off button and has an arrow like this on it <- everytime I go to press back it locks my phone as if I had hit the lock button to the right, If I get the pressure right it does work ok but it's really driving me mad. Anyone had the same issue or can recommend a fix?
Hi, I have the same issue. Did anyone reply to you or is it just a hardware problem?
Cheers,

Found it! We need to buy a new flexcable.
why do you need to press back button? seriously in winmo??
I know the Atrix and Photon are very similar, so has anyone tried this yet to wake the phone on the volume keys? My power button is getting annoying and would rather use the volume buttons. I'm not experienced enough to try this myself so hopefully someone can maybe get it working.

EDIT:
Found out that Widget Locker from the market will do it with the correct settings. here is the link;

Yes Yes Yes.. I too would like to see volume rocker power without custom rom. but for the mean time try Button Savior on the market. You have to be rooted though.
Supposedly we can enter service mode by entering *#197328640#, then select [5]Audio to change default volume levels.

But when I clicked [5]Audio, nothing shows up. It goes back to main menu.
Anybody knows if it's an AT&T thing, or some other settings I need to change?
Many thanks in advance.

Same issue here... Have you managed to fix it?
I recently noticed my volume up button does not click, however my volume down button does click. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm thinking about taking the phone apart to check whats up. I did attempt to disassemble the phone previously but I am positive I placed everything back in place and the volume buttons worked fine afterwards. From what I know, I did not drop my phone, have the phone stuck somewhere, etc,etc.
Does anyone know if it is possible to disable the volume up and down buttons on the side of the phone? I looked through the build.prop but nothing jumped out at me.
Bump... anyone?
