So factory images or flashable zip. I did the latter a bit ago, working fine.

Smart lock of mi band now working... Bluetooth fix?
It appears that the Bluetooth issues are mitigated as well, at least so far for me and connection to a 2014 Mazda 3.

My pebble watch now connects via Bluetooth correctly and doesn't get dropped after half a second.
What about Microsoft exchange? In Marshmallow the global address book is no longer there/works.

Actually, I think the black in 6.01 is worse. It used to really blend the nav bar with the rest of the phone. Now it doesn't

I'm on a Google Product forum thread that speaks of this but have yet to see on my stock 6.0 N6P.
It would reared its head when I had my OPO last year using Hangouts.
And maybe once so far on the N6P.
But it's really odd that it's affecting some & not others (mostly 6.0 people on N5, N5X, N6, few N6P's - though N5 owners have experiences since 5.1.1).
Leads me to believe that another app isn't configured correctly for Marshmallow & now Google has to do all the work to clean up some1 else's bad development.

But anyway, yeap, expect a few months to get to us. I hope the xda dev will have something b4 U.S. providers pushing out OTA.

Airdroid is more better and simple.
I disagree. With wireless storage I can map my my phone as a network drive, which means as soon as I turn wifi on, it will be accessible on my computer just like any harddisk.
No apps, no 3-rd party solutions, no web interface.

I totally agree airdroid is a mess compared to wireless storage
Exactly. The G3 roms don't have it either. It does suck and I miss the simplicity of the Wireless Storage on stock G2 roms. Samba Sharing is the best alternative I've found. It is a small app, activate, navigate to the IP just like using Wireless Storage; map drive, etc.
It is a 3rd party app but pretty easy to use. You can set your own username/password too which has it's advantages.
With Lollipop also comes ART and breakage of Xposed. The Notification pane looks very similar to what we have now... which was one of the bigger features of Lollipop. Honestly not too excited for it. I'll stick to my Kitkat-based G3 rom... at least until a custom rom comes out with Center Clock, navigation bar tweaks, etc.
Cm12 has center clock, nav bar tweaks etc, check before you write, there is new updates builds of it every day that improves it and add feature + fix bugs as well, you should check it out..
Well I just found out lollipop suks for this feature being Removed !

I can't stand system software updates, it didn't even tell me it was going to install lollipop. I want my Kit Kat Back ! NOW !

The Lollipop OTA was for ALL Phones, I'm sure other phones were affected by specific " Features " , Some people didn't even get asked. They woke up the next day with a Lollipop in their hand, scratching their head " wtf is this , what happened to my phone ? "
Sooo...., I spent about 6 hrs getting back to Kit-Kat. ( yeap, I was scared because I couldn't take the battery out, Sooo,.... I read Instructions, and Entire threads before doing anything. )
Learned how to adb push also.
Hey so I got the Galaxy S6 Edge on release as my contract was finally running out right before. I liked it a lot, other than the crap that is Touchwiz and it has started to run super slow as of late. I've been running Nova Prime which speeds it up a bit but I have to constantly wipe everything from RAM so that it doesn't lag just to go from Youtube to texting and back (and even then it still slightly lags). Lately it's been getting progressively worse and I haven't downloaded any new apps in ages or anything at all, just the usual social media and texting - that's it. We're talking no apps multi-tasking and I go to open Play Music and it just shows a black screen and 20secs later it shows the app.. I've pretty well had enough especially with waiting so long for 5.1 that a phone that's so expensive has issues much cheaper phones don't even have.
This is probably the wrong thread to post this but I was wondering if anyone else has gone through these problems and if so did you find a way to fix it? Other than that I'm wondering what phone would be a better choice for me. The typical flagships come to mind but what phone seems to be the best to you as of late? Thanks!

My phone started to lag but ive rooted mine on 5.1.1 and a few days after i deleted some bloatware it started to lag but its not too bad. When it does get bad i power it off for a couple minutes and power it back on and unlock it and let it sit there doing nothing for a few minites and then it returns to its normal speed.

Nope. I really loved my z3 and while the camera was able to take great photos it was no where close to s6. Especially when needed to snap and shoot. With z3 you had to do manual controls and even then results wasn't always great.
Everything else (except the design) I liked z3 more than s6 edge

I've not noticed any changes since updating - other than a newer kernel build (8/10). The camera app still seems quite buggy - that's the only issue I've experienced so far so can't really comment on anything else.

Your camera app too? FFC seems a bit shifty, the back camera seems fine. SlowMo video seems to freeze up though at times. Also is your front facing camera fairly blurry on taking photos? Mine is.

Running it now, albeit the leaked beta for the note 8. With the polish that this build seems to have I would highly expect it within the first two months of 2019.
Overall, the UI is a huge change. But overall I seem to like it when paired with some of the android pie changes. It feels snappy and so far user friendly.
I am still a fan of the stock android (pie) ui but this is definitely my favorite OEM skin so far.
I hate the fact that the Snapdragons get betas and leaks, and then after the official streams kick in, Exynos is bombarded with releases and Snapdragons remain behind.

I agree, this build of Pie, and One UI feels very good. AR Emoji and Bixby Vision are broken, but I don't ever use those features so not a deal breaker. Adaptive Battery is included with this build, I'll be interested to see how battery life is affected by this feature. All in all a very nice change from Oreo.

Apparently, closed beta ONE UI for Note 8 Snapdragon is up already.

I have a T-Mobile Note8 that already got CRK1 and installed this update last night; it was working totally fine, except for any 'Sunset to Sunrise' time settings, that would turn off every time you turned the screen off. It seriously is a good upgrade from the stock Oreo UI; much more clean, unified, and snappier.
But this morning, I woke up to my phone basically soft bricked. It just sat charging last night, and now it just randomly vibrates here and there, and the lock screen just doesn't show. I can make it do things with adb, and the camera will launch, but otherwise, its basically useless. I would skip this build.. I still haven't found a solution but to download CRK1 and downgrade back, which I'm waiting for the download to finish now. Reinstalling this beta and clearing the system cache didn't do anything.
I have a theory to why sd gets leaks more than exynos. Countries like usa brand the phone heavily and perhaps need to test it more and earlier to push out the update. That's also why they get the update last..
Just my 2 cents opinion

Man, my wifi signal was lost during the OTA download and it failed. Now when I go to check for software udpate again, it doesn't see the new Pie OTA. ugggggg.
You're better off without it. New LG image is missing features in the last one, especially for AOD. Honestly I want to figure out if I can re-ROM it with the last one.

Just happened to be looking for alternatives yesterday & today, as my 2yo AT&T V30 was starting to fail (alarm fails to go off, Chrome won't launch, security failures after using [email protected], preventing tunnel use). Had rebuilt just 3 months ago to no avail (stock).
Very glad to see the Pie update unexpectedly show up, and I'm hoping it to resolve all my issues (which I admit doesn't make sense).
That's wild, mine is still stuck on the March 2018 update. Fingers crossed I get an update soon!
