Software install failed - Honor 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

B140 caused problems with my Honor 7 battery. So I managed to downgrade to B121 full rom. I tried with local update, with volume-power buttons, and fastboot but everytime I get the message "Software install failed". I also did factory reset and still the same.
I tried with B100 full rom too.
Please help

[Q] Vega A870L System Restart Because of Application Error

My Vega Iron suddenly restart and encountered this error "System Restart because of Application Error". The first time, it restarted just fine but on the second one it always stucked at L+ Logo. I already tried factory reset on the stock recovery but it didn't solved it. I also tried the Vega Self Upgrade but always have an error on USB Driver on 3 PCs I used. I can't find any help on the net on how to properly run it. Then I tried to flash a latest firmware but with sms fix using CWM Recovery but still encounter same error. I actually found a vietnamese forum with the error but I can't understand even if I translate it.
Can anyone please help me? Current firmware is S1235210.

Huawei P8 Lite boot loop

Hello XDA Community! I have a "small" problem with my P8 Lite. When booting, it gets stuck at the carrier screen (in my case, Vodafone, European carrier). This happend after I rooted the phone.
I tried two methods to fix the problem, however each method had an "issue":
1. I tried to install the stock firmware, however at system.img i get the error "unknown status code"...
2. Tried to do a hard reset, however in the Recovery mode there's no "Factory Reset" option (and I have instead an "Update and Recovery download" option which gives an error)
Mentioning that the phone runs Android 6.0 with EMUI 4
What should I do?
Sorry for my bad english, i am from Eastern Europe

Mate 10 Lite (RNE-L01) without O.S.

Hello guys, first of all sorry for my bad English but I'm Italian and I'm writing through the use of Google Translate.
I wanted to ask for help with a problem that occurred to me a few days ago ... about a week ago I bought a Mate 10 Lite brand TIM Italia (RNE-L01C55) with the intention to flash a firmware No Brand (C432) so documenting on internet I tried various methods:
Update with Firmware Finder but always with poor results (even with compatible firmware) because the update stopped at 5-6% giving me the error "Software Install Failed"
Local update from SDcard and forced update but also always gave me the "Software Install Failed" error
After several desperate attempts I decided to unblock the bootloader and install the TWRP recovery by trying to flash "Update.zip" and as a result I made an advanced cleaning also eliminating the operating system. After twisting the zip in TWRP he gave me the following error:
"Updater process ended with ERROR: 9"
Right now I find myself without any operating system and when I try to flash any firmware via TWRP I always have the same error.

Unable to set property ro.boottime.init.mount.cache after upgrade firmware with Odin

I'm having a strange issue after flashing latest firmware on my Tab S7 (SM-T870)...
When I try to flash an update with odin I'm using "HOME_CSC" as I want to keep the data on the device. However it results in a boot loop to recovery where I have 3 options
1. Restart the phone
2. Factory reset
3. Check logs
Restarting the phone just restarts it and boots to the same menu.
I've checked the logs and saw an error saying:
Unable to set property "ro.boottime.init.mount.cache"
I've tried wiping cache in recovery as well, but that didn't help.
Anyone here who can help me out?
Thanks!

Maybe try to reflash previous firmware version.
There is no need to run after the lastest update.

No I tried it but only factory reset does help -.-
This is why I hate Samsung for Security reasons after a f***ing Update ...
I have the same problem, but i didn't update from Odin.
Just OTA september update, and the phone randomly goes in bootloop like once in a week.
Same here. Does anyone have any news?
same here. im in a bootloop and not even factory reset helps. i can access recovery and download mode and have flashed newest firmware three times via Odin with "pass," wiped cache, name it i've done it. I'm despondent. Does
Samsung not have the equivalent of Oneplus's MSM tool? four days have i worked furiously to save my phone.
sorry to revive, but I'm having this issue as well on my z fold 4.
Factory reset helped for about a week, and back to bootloops every 3 min or so.
PASS received in Odin, had to use micro usb cable with C-adapter as c->c did not allow Odin to complete flash (stuck at ~95% on "Super").
Not sure which error in the logs apply, but the "unable to set property "ro.boottime.init.mount.cache" to "0": error code: 0xb, try count 1-3" seem to be cause for alarm.
Has anyone fixed this?
