To flash the factory image:
Reboot your Nexus 6P into fastboot mode by holding Vol down + Power after turning it off.
Connect your Nexus 6P to the computer. Make sure you have the latest USB and ADB drivers installed.
Then on your PC, extract the Zip package and go to Software > MDB08K-release > signed-angler-img-2343511-factory-build.
If the bootloader is locked execute ‘device_unlock.bat’. Otherwise, just skip this step.
Next, execute ‘flash_all_and_device_lock.bat’ to automatically flash all the images and relock the bootloader.

I had the wrong title :good:
The build number etc. looks like a normal Huawei phone - is there really such a special edition of N6P?

firmware for Huawei nexus 6P
Even if this is legit (I have my doubts) locking the bootloader right after flashing anything without verifying it boots first is one of the dumbest things you can do.

You should probably explain what exactly this is
just as you say, anyway
to flash the firmware needs the unlocked bootloader

Google provides all factory images, why would a user need this?
It means that Huawei is so

I don't see on the screen shot where it will reset the tamper flag. The program bootunlocker from the App Store will take care of that for you

@op Will this method patch the kernel for gaining root access ( as chainfire method does ) or it's using something different without patching kernel ?
( i'm asking for nexus 5 with lollipop)
It will patch the kernel. It flashes the full image
Will this work on the Nexus 6?

https://disqus.com/home/discussion/...kat_is_available_for_mediatek_mt6589_chipset/
There is many reason why Android 4.4 KitKat did not come to our Android device, because, some device that running with mediaTek chipset did not provide appropriate upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat.
Finally, there is domestic smartphone manufacturer has successfully upgrade their system to Android 4.4 KitKat using CyanogenMod 10.2, and now the device that using MediaTek MT6589/MT6589T is capable to using higher version of Android.
Some people in XDA Developer forum has been built the Custom ROM based on CyanogenMod 11 that targeting for device which powered by MediaTek MT6589 processor, and now they ready to update their Android to KitKat.
Here is Installation guide, taken from XDA Developer Forum:
– Install new CWM linked in this thread (for installation see in: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show….php?t=2440304 ) – if you Do not have it yet, make sure you backup recovery.img
– Make a backup with CWM – you will want to go back to stock, don’t blame me if you don’t have a backup!!!
– Copy the cm_stairway-otaXYZ.zip to the phone and flash the zip with CWM
– Copy the gapps to Phone and install the ZIP (see: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps – this is CM11)
– Wipe

Firstly, you take all responsibility for using this work.
Love flashing ROMs and find it a hassle finding a computer and the time to reinstall genuine LG G3 firmware?
This ROM is for you!
This ROM lets you install the latest v20i european firmware without a computer but by using TWRP. And it is already rooted!
Steps:
1. Download the file
https://mega.nz/#!QYlh3Q7J!1cKq244pEOwD7GmyWbQzYkXBEt2_kKemzqEEGvHUkVI
2. Unzip it using your favourite file explorer. I use Root Explorer!
3. Place the contents in the following location (create folder if necessary!):
/storage/emulated/0/TWRP
4. Reboot into TWRP recovery
5. Factory reset
6. Click 'restore' and select the nandroid backup.
7. Boot into the latest v20i firmware with root!

For what I know the 20I is the newer for EUR. Looks like the changelog is bigger

Yes, in UK, where I am, 20i is the latest ota version. Using this method saves loads of time so feel free to use, or not
Can someone point me out a changelog for LG OTA updates? Can't seem to find any.

can you replace this baseband (radio) with international baseband (20p) ?
to see what's the different if use regional baseband and international baseband.
I think the v20p thread had a list of ota changelog. You can flash another modem baseband if you have the zip file.

OK. So is this actually pure stock or is anything changed or customised?
If so, whats changed? Kernel? Mods?
Rather vague... Or am I missing something?
Dear developers of firmware! Add please the full Russian language in the firmware. Very much you I ask. Thank you.
