Moto E 2015 Boost Mobile Cyanogenmod 12.1 visual voicemail replacement app - E 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I am on a Moto E 2015. I managed to successfully install Cyanogenmod 12.1.
However, I don't have a visual voicemail app. I'm running Boost Mobile.
I've tried backing up all apps and system data in Titanium Backup, but when I flashed the zip, my device would always crash, so I restored a nandroid backup from the stock ROM.
Can I either
A. Get the stock voicemail app from Boost Mobile?
B. Download a replacement voicemail app from the Play Store (I can't find any that work with Boost Mobile
Thanks in advance!

New privacy app

Hi guys. Found a new app which blocks out private data such as imei and network locations. A dev called svyat is currently working on it in the main forum.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357056
Trying it out myself with CM rom and results seem impressive. Worth checking it out. /Make sure you have current Nandroid just in case.
hello,
it seems very interesting but does it works with last nightly ?
thx
Hi. Sorry not sure really. But if u do a nandroid backup it would be worth giving it a go. As you should b able to just restore back to before you install the patch if it doesn't work for you.
Need to flash the patch first then install app dld from market.

Since I do not have a GSM model. I can suggest the following.
1) Make sure you put the file in right folder.
2)Make sure it is on your phone.
3)Try to reboot.
Sorry if I didn't help much as for I don't have a GSM model. I recommend that you start a new thread for I can't help much further.

Google Account Removal
Go to:
/data/system and remove accounts.db
Install Problems
People tend to have glitches on my rom that I don't have for some reason.
Create an update.zip
(I can't do that for my rom because I've some kind of issue where the notification bar is missing and I've no clue what I can do
Also Clean Music and File Manager get installed because It's on NXT Lite base and I swear these are not in system/app or data/app)

heh, It's on the list sent one back. Gotta look and see what the 500 is using for the screen. If it's synaptics, this might be difficult. Also working on remote and overclock, but those may take a while. Glad to see you got your system up and running!
just downloaded and installed the odexed version. Everything works as it should and I'm very pleased with what I'm finding. Thank you for your excellent work. I have also installed my kernel and the system is now blazing fast!
Did the updater script come from Mako or?
Does this rom has miracast and the option to move apps to sd?
Thanks
Can we flash this rom on v500?

I tried.. and it shows "Successfully flashed!" but my device didn't reboot
so i take it the V510 model is the device dubbed Google Edition right?
and this rom can only be flashed on that device?
the other global variant, V500 models - this rom will Not work?

Help with sync
Problem: Google Calendar "can't find any calendars to sync".
I just bought a used V510 on swappa. Flashed the deodexed version of this ROM. Everything is fine with it except above issue. Also, in settings I am getting a Google Sync error. When I expand the sync, I see app data, chrome, Contacts, Drive, gmail, And people details. All of these show successful sync. But there is no box/choice for calendar.
Suggestion appreciated.
Edit: I tried numerous "fixes" from a Google search. Clearing cache for calender, contacts, enable/disable airplane mode, log out of Google account/reboot/log back in. Uninstall calender and reinstall. None of that worked. Finally I did a dirty flash of PA gapps and that solved the problem. Not clear why that fixed it, though.
Is it possible you could make a complete stock backup ROM of v4.4.2 - KOT49H.L004
4.4.3 is set to be released and it may be neccesary to be completely stock for the update. Also, the update may present problems concerning root for some applications. Thank you for your consideration!
Yes, would be very interested in a stock 4.4.2 to flash back to

stripped\minimal os

I have an old Galaxy S (Vibrant) that I want to use as a display for a specific app(YaV1) in my car.
It will not be used as a phone. I will only need the GPS, Bluetooth, and sometimes WiFi
Is there an android version that is stripped down and contains no apps - except for maybe play store ?
TIA

Hello,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
You can use a debloated ROM and can use apps like Titanium Backup to slim down the system.

I currently have CM 10.1-20140217 installed. Is this considered debloated ?

Backup - Restoring Apps on new ROM

Hello everyone,
Can anyone please tell me, whenever we install a new ROM on the android phone aka one plus instead of manually installing each and everyone app is there any way to backup all apps on my existing ROM and restoring all the apps @ one go. Because installing one app at a time is a tedious thing. So let me know if it's possible.
Thanks
