It's an old lowlevel device. How does it run?
If I remember correctly, the Adreno 2xx graphic units haven't full driver support with Android 4.3 or above. Am I right?

There is an Adreno 2.x update patch floating around for some time. I'd say most kernels have implemented.
Camera and flash work great, even has camcorder light. Commonly has the dim CM torch, but 3rd party torch works brightly. Also streams web video nicely.
I flashed some random version of Skernel Final and is fast and smooth, overclocked and underclocked. Definitely a ROM worth tinkering with.

Hi @adrian1234a. Great work! Your KitKat 4.4.4 build seems nearly the only reliable for the LG L5. :good: Question, is NFC supported at yours Android 4.4.4 build? Is it well supported? I ask because the NFC controller NXP 44501 (aka NXP PN544 C1) used in the LG L5 seems totally jinxed. There a countless of reports at the xda forums of people which have problems with that damn piece of silicium. The main reason is that this type is not (well) supported by the official NXP-NCI Android stack, - all other NXP controllers are.
There exist a NFC patch (NFC enabler) which adds NFC support for this controller on a lot devices. This seems to function well for LG phones like L5 or L7, but NOT for my Samsung Galaxy mini 2. This is so strange, - the LG Optimus L5 E610 has near the identical SoC, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC hardware like the Samsung Galaxy mini 2 S6500 has.
There exist a recent CM11 build for the Samsung Galaxy mini 2 which is almost perfect, it has awesome performance on that low end Snapdragon S1 hardware. The only thing which don't work is NFC. All CM11 developers have tried to fix this, - without success.
My last attempt were to extract the nfc.msm7x27a.so file of your build and put it into the NFC enabler. Also this failed so far. I ask me now why this is so hard to get working when this is possible at near identical hardware? Which version has your Kernel?

In the custom rom of the L5 does not usually work the NFC
Hi Jonas. Thanks for this fast replay. At the main page at the release information of this KitKat 4.4.4 "PAC-MAN" build it is noted that "all is working". So I thought this belongs also to the NFC controller. If NFC isn't working on this build here then I should extract it out of the most recent LG L5 or L7 Android stock rom. I must take it from there because the mini 2 never get a later android version then 2.3.6. So these old mini 2 stock files are mostly incompatible with any newer 4.x Android release.

Thank you for this. I'll test it out.
I just wanted to know which recovery I should be using to flash this. I'm currently using Philz touch 6.57.9 and it has no problem whatsoever for kitkat roms. Should I change to TWRP for this rom?
And what is the difference between your Cm 12 and brothaedhung's Cm 12?
Thank you

1st question: If your recovery has SELinux support i believe it will work fine. I'm personally using TWRP 2.8.2.0. from @brothaedhung.
2nd question: according to his OP, his is a mako based device tree. I'm using the official gproj device/kernel trees provided by CyanogenMod. When official nightlies begin, mine will be identical to the official nightlies.
Thanks - RJ

Right. I think I should start using twrp too as it seems that support for cwm has ended and many roms in the future might not fully support it.
Anyway thanks a lot for still developing for our awesome optimus g. You guys are amazing.
@rjwil1086 : thanks for bringing proj based cm12, will try soon, as i remember last build I tried was LS LP based on gproj, but in that build some games loose colors and lot of graphical glitches.
also, will you please update build to latest changes as I can see updated common and kernel trees in cm.

Thank you for the beta CM-12. I flashed the TWRP, ROM, GAPPS and Supersu 2.37 update and the system is working very well, almost as good as my previous CM-11 nightly. Your Thumbnail indicates excellent battery life. I’m going to give the CM-12 a few days to see if I can get the same performance. Your CM-12 handles autorotation and camera w/o problem. I plan to check out Bluetooth and MHL this evening. I was also able to re-install CM-11 Apollo music player but DSPManager persistently stopped. I will only return to CM-11 if the battery drain persists. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I bet those packages were removed from the official repo because of incompatibility issues. I'm sure they'll add them back once they are updated unless they are phasing them out. I know they added audiofx. I guess it is replacing dspmanager.
Pleased to report both mhl and bluetooth work w/o problem. I link to a keyboard and mouse via bluetooth and to monitor via mhl. Sometimes I use my LGOG as a desktop. I got the idea from this blog:

Awesome, so far
This is a great rom, it feels so solid. The only issue I am having is bluetooth, it doesn't recognize any bluetooth devices in the area. GPS connects quickly, and the camera (Google) is great.

Hi, I'll test it and provide feedback. Thanks! :highfive:
------------------------------------------
Hola, yo la pruebo y te aviso que onda, que tal anda. Gracias!
EDIT:
Just flashed this and is working simply fast... I really like this ROM, is just plain AOSP with no extra stuff.
We'll see how the battery behaves.
Volume is fine, is not that high or that low. (I really like the music player you added)
No problem with proximity sensor as far as I can tell.
Camera is just AOSP camera, so I don't expect it to be "the" camera... is working fine.
Thanks OP, will stay with this for a while.
Saludos de Buenos Aires, jajaja,
Nice to see more rom choices for my D855~
Thank you man~
Paranoid Android!!!!
I REALLLLLLLY HOPE SOMEONE PORTS THIS TO D851 ASAP!!!!
all works great except when i try to make a video with camera app. Photo works well but with videos, app camera crash. Please fix it in the next release, and if you can, add the battery percentage option in the status bar. However great work, much faster than cm12, paranoid win!

D851 is in the official AOSPA-Legacy repos so running a build is super easy. All you need to do is set up a build environment, download the source and run a build. I compiled the one running on my phone with an old computer in about 2 1/2 hours (not including downloading the source).
OP-sorry for the OT

One apk: fresnap camera, give very good quality, based on lg g2 stock camera, and ported with api from lg g2 framework. B!GBOY did good progress for lollipoop, but still didnt find solution of dpi for G3. Maybe some of developers can have a look, as temporary its can be best solution, i did compare to stock LG G3 camera, and quality is awesome, sometimes also better because of great noise canceling.

Known bugs.
- When you try to take photos while recording videos with the rear camera, the stop recording button deactivates and you have to close the camera app.
- When you are recording videos and move the phone the camera is constantly focusing and it can make videos blurry for some seconds.
- Overclock doesn't work in some phones. This is not a bug. It is rather a hardware issue.
Great!!!! good news for p769 users...

I remember looking into this before when working the x compact and decided it doesn't work like that. I can't recall the exact reason.
Would it be possible to include OC/UC control as well as .kcal support?
Thanks!

I'm a little nervous about adding OC support to the X compact and X. On the X compact, the phone already overheats when under heavy load. That doesn't make a good case for overclocking on these devices for very little gain in real world performance.
I'll look into adding KCAL support.
Has anyone played with undervoltage? I have very little experience with the SD650 running under a custom kernel.
KCAL would be nice.
OC? I don't think so, X gets pretty hot when used as a video call device or while heavy gaming.
It would be better to add UC or give us a chance to modify some voltages for better battery life and less heat.
After all there is no error on my phone, Magisk work perfect, more advanced functions are working perfectly fine with your kernel.
Some undervoltage recommended?
On another phones like Nexus 5 with ElementalX Kernel , SoC works fine using 750mah with [email protected],4/2,5Ghz (Yeah, Overheating is there), and [email protected],1/1,6GHz and 730mah...
Curiously, with their Kernel App UI, you could make another type of Undervolting or force the SoC to other low frequencies... And when you try to install Higher Frequencies installing the kernel, the phone is locked later on Splashlogo/Bootlogo (For Voltage fault, I guess).
I think that you could some similar Kernel for this... And if you think put OC option remember the Overheat and some method for a cooler
- Send from my Oven Xperia X (Bye paint, hallo Aluminium back cover :3).

One of the features I have added for the next release is undervolting - see here.
I'm updating the list as I go.

can you include this 2 commit to your build? For full SuperUserMod.
Any ETA for new version of your kernel?
After one week of testing I can tell one thing - everything is rock stable

Good Work
In my humble opinion, currently this is the most stable rom and best option to keep our Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 SM-G7105 phones relevant (installing new apps) and (more) secured (Privacy Guard, security patches, etc).
Except one small bug that can only be replicated if you do not install Android 7.1 GApps for ARM stock/super/aroma, everything works perfectly.
The bug in question refers to the default Lineage OS camera video recording option, basically it doesn't allow filming on 30 FPS only 60 FPS or 90 FPS which our devices do not support on 1080p recording resolution.
I have several G7105 phones and on 1st one I installed GApps for ARM 7.1 stock and the default camera was replaced by Google Camera which takes pictures and records videos correctly. On my second G7105 phone I installed GApps for ARM 7.1 mini and this GApps version doesn't replace the default Lineage OS camera which has this bug. So far my fix was to install from Google Play a different camera app which of course works with video recording [email protected].
tldr: Snap Camera is missing the OFF option from High framerate recording menu.
Thank you again for your great work!

I'm not working anymore on Grand2, but you can use my repos to build a ROM for g710K, just modify the Kernel config file to use the Korean version and you're good to go I think.
Can install this rom on G7102 device?
