After xmas i can test some builds for you if needed. How you gonna cm13 if theres only ANDROID WEAR builds.
Was thinking about roms too . but not as easy as it use to be

Well I got su power and twrp to work on this device. I am going to be working on this over the weekend and into next. They have cm12.1 working on moto 360. So yes everything possible bud

Sorry man. As you can read other people posts. In reality. This watch is not worth doing anymore development on. I tried everything under the sun to get things done to it. So I went ahead and sold my zenwatch 2. And replaced with s2 watch. S2 watch is a way better device. Which I think it's only solid piece Sammy makes. Sorry to put everyone hopes up.

Then it might has something to do with your device since I dont have any issues.
But I have a question, I've found a reason to root, but just in case, do you know how I can make a system.img that I can flash in fastboot when something goes wrong?

Same here, id like to be able to enable some more cores other than just the one. Soon and hopefully i wont break the watch, ill tinker with twrp to push superuser or root somehow
So maybe itll be a learning experience for us

I am happy with the gift I got for christmas, however im sure with root it would make it just a bit better before I can shell out 400 dollars for a new watch that looks better.
I know that there isnt kernel source, and that sucks. But I really am hoping that any other mods can work with it.

Im scared that something goes wrong and that my watch will stay in a bootloop.
Because they dont have fastboot images so I cant fix it.

I have all the imgs for you guys. System.IMG recovery.IMG and boot.img. when I get a chance by this weekend. I will upload them for you.

My watch has a bluetooth only connection inside my house at a distance of about 12 meters ... through walls.
Sounds interesting. Getting kinda tired of not having root or much development.. If u need help with testing , hmu. Thanks .

Alright yes, I browsed through the forums before posting and yes I have read that you cannot root 13.3.2.1. However, I just bought my new Kindle, made sure it didn't update and it came with version 13.3.2.0. Is it possible to root this? I tried using the root in the developer forums but, as I expected before I tried anyway, it was for 13.3.1.0
Google sucks at searching version numbers and I only found some Chinese sites. I realize this will be an annoying, probably-answered-somewhere-that-I-couldn't-find question but is it possible to root 13.3.2.0?

Actually, pretty much no work is being done for HDX at all. I try to help people in the HDX forum, but I only develop for its little brother, The 2nd Gen HD

Its sad but true, I do remember a time when the regular HD had nothing going on as well so we can always be patient.
I have the cdma version (tracphone) model xt830c according to device label when mounted as media device in windows. Can I root this model? Use the same tools as at the start of this section?

I figured why not give calling em a shot. It was a thousand questions and then redirected to their security department then several more questions resulting in them saying "I'm sorry sir we do not even have a code to provide you and we do not allow or support device unlocking or rooting." I was like.. Byatch! What a mess! I should have researched this before buying... I looked it up, saw moto e was rootable and looked no further. Sucked in by the deal. Now I can't even return it. I've had it too long. I'm sure no one is even attempting it anymore. Think I might craigslist it for 40 and get me one to have a little fun with. Oh and not only that Tracfone has a site and under their name it says something like, when you have our phones you have the power. Ha! Straight talk just lost a long time customer. And this phone is just bloated out to the max with Google and Motorola CRAP! If someone out there in this mod world have this phone... Get it!!! Hit it hard! We can use this as a lab rat! So here's what I would believe, the CDMA version on straight talk is a cdma-v phone.. I assume that means its a Verizon phone, if I had a back up phone I'd be willing to try to root this one using the Verizon one click root app... Does anyone have any thoughts?
I would be willing to try it. Tried searching for it but couldnt find it. If you have link to the Verizon 1 click root app Ill try it asap. I just bought it and have a 30 day store warranty. I did try the LG Stump root 1.2 and did not work.

I will try it, I dont mind messing with my device, I can probably look at the apk as well and find the exploit to see what it is.
Look forward to hearing how it goes. Need this XT830C rooted. Never had a non rooted phone. What a big difference it makes and not for the good.

This is not the Verizon 1 click root as I was looking for the same but this is the Sprint/Verizon LG Stump root method I tried.
**This might be the 1 click root app. Doing a search on google keeps bringing this link up. Dont know for certain. Method did not work for me.

Is this the Version One Click root you were looking for? This is the updated version.
I found it via this article. Chrome detected the Verizon apk as a virus, but that's probably a false positive. The apk does come from XDA.
Blah blah blah, if you install that, I'm not responsible for nuclear war or bricked phones.
I'd try it tonight, but I need to be up for class/work tomorrow.
I don't have much to lose, although I do love this phone. Right now I use it as a server with VIM via Terminal IDE or as a web server with KSWEB. Although I recently converted an old 1.6GHz N270 Atom netbook to do the same thing, it's much louder and hotter, but way more powerful.
I'm just pissed what StraightTalk did to this phone. It's absolutely amazing, but those bastards had to ruin it.
Hi everyone, I know that there hasn't really been much development for this phone, it really sucks, we've tried a few different things like adding a bounty or signing a petition... I think we need to take a new approach at getting this root method... The last developer who had our first root was great but if he isn't going to do it maybe we could convince and ask somebody else and tell them about our bounty? In this thread lets throw out ideas that we could do to get the root and twrp! So does anybody have any good ideas?

I know that I've only started this thread in advance so that once the device comes in people could post their homescreen.
Almost all the "Post your Homescreen" threads are started before the device goes on sale.

I got it from at&t for free actually. I had to add a line and just casually asked if their are any deals running atm.. turns out If I "pre-ordered" the phone with a new contract..it'll be free. I received it 2 days after in the mail.

Seems quite smooth from the bit I used it yesterday setting everything up.... But I refuse to use it outside my house until my case gets here tomorrow. It is BY FAR, the most slippery phone I've ever used. Ha
Doesn't look like anyone's actually posted a screenshot yet but I'll post something I guess! Just got mine and already making some progress! Still a bunch to do!
