First, I flashed TWRP with Fire OS 4.5.3, (I downgraded from 5.0 with the 4.5.3 bin) then I installed a cm11 rom, and then flashed back to 4.5.3. I decided I didn't want to root it, so I decided to update via OTA, and when it finished installing the update, it simply restarted, and just shows an empty screen. (The screen isn't even on) The update was listed as Fire OS 4.5.5, and since it's in an OTA, I don't know why it (probably) bricked. Any help on this? (Or on WHY the update bricked my Kindle)
Thanks in Advance
Help
hi, i have the same exact problem with my kindle fire hd 6 (4th gen) and from what i have read it says you have to download sp-flash tools, and the rom which includes the scatter file. After downloading these you have to format and flash the kindle with the sp-flash tool.
I tried this with my phone(blu advance 4.0)and it works perfectly.
If by any chance you find the rom with the scatter file in it please let me know thx.

I simply got another kindle back, but what you said is true. Since it uses an MTK chinese chipset, you can use SP Flash Tools to unbrick it. Thing is, nobody was able to get the firmware into a scatter file format. And you'd most likely need to remove the battery, which means you'd need to open it up. If anyone experienced sees this, I hope they can somehow change the firmware format to a format SP Flash Tools can recognise.

We have the firmwares, but we need them in a file format that SP Flash Tools will recognize, and that would fix a LOT of bricks.
I bricked mine after flashfire got stuck and didnt finish flashing CM 12.1. I have been toying around with the sp flash tool. The chip is MT8127. I am working on building a scatter file. If I have any success I will let everyone know.

Fire HD 6 is actually MT8135.
I have a bricked Fire HD 6 that I want to fix for a friend. I have a lot of experience with SPFT and if someone can PM me who has a working Kindle then I can make a scatter for them. I can't make a scatter or anything because the Kindle doesn't even boot the screen.
It's detected by the PC tho, I just need a scatter file and the TWRP and then I'm good.

You do not need a scatter file (it does not work!). Instead, follow these instructions :

Damn! You just gave me some hope ! Thanks!

Anyone have a stock firmware zip that can be flashed in stock recovery? I messed up some system files and can't get back into android. Thanks to anyone in advance.
Here you have it: S6000_A422_001_006_130703_CN_WiFi.

The error message is clear: use Firmware Upgrade option on SP Flash Tool. For that, you have to load all partitions and that should not be a problem taking into consideration that I've already shared the link to the full package.
thanks but
Thank you for the help but its really not working out as easy as that. I am getting checksum errors now too. If you think of anything else it might be please let me know.
Isnt there a way to flash this in fastboot? I tired but it wont let me but was wondering if it was because the bootloader is locked?

Just delete checksums.ini file and proceed with flashing.
So just so I am clear on what I need to do.
Download stock firware from link you provided
Extract image to drive
Replace stock recovery.img with CWM version
Replace scatter file with version from CWM download?
Delete checsum.ini from MTK tools folder
Load CWM scatter file
Check DA/DL box in SP tool
Click Firmware upgrade button
If this is correct then it doesnt work. Or perhaps I am leaving out a step. Thanks for your help.

Just out of curiosity, why are you quoting my posts? Is it really necessary?
Anyway, the process you mentioned is correct, but perhaps you're using an old version of SP Flash Tool. Note that the scatter file that goes along with CWM recovery is the original, taken from the stock firmware package.
I have the latest SP flash tool. Does not work. Thanks for the help anyway.
The latest? Which version is it?
Thank you sir for all of your help. I did get it working finally. If you don't mind me asking, how did you compile the cwm? Using the online builder? Any chance you could compile a US version ?
Hey, would you mind giving me a little guidance on how to build the US version of this CWM recovery? It would be greatly appreciated... you have no idea...
I have compiled it from sources, not using the builder as it is not totally compatible with MTK devices. Anyway, what do you mean with "US version"?
Also, do you mind saying how you get it working? It may be useful for others. Let me know the SP Flash Tool version you've used.
I'll post the sp version. What I mean by US is that I had received a copy of the US firmware (a US version of the CN you posted) but when I tried to use the CWM you compiled with it, it did not work. I am in the US so running a China firmware is not optimal, but is OK I just had to side load Google apps and change the language.
It seems you forgot to tell which version you've used. Also, if you know where to find the US firmware please let me know.
US firmware
Hi All, any news on US firmware ?
Hi everyone.
I have a 4gb version without 3g.
Bought it in China. Tried to use russian ROM but it was corrupted, so now I need some ROM to make tablet work again.
I tried ROM from this thread, but SP flash tool showed a mistake that it's not enough memory. So, now my tablet is a brick. Where can I find another firmware?
I think that this is want you want / need: S6000_A422_001_005_130524_CN4_WiFi.
So here's the thing, first off this Tablet as great as it is..seems like a ghost of an existence in the android community.
Anyways please please anyone at all any suggestions, I've tried numerous things to get out of this boot loop... So what happened is I ended up updating this device with Asus latest zip file they said to manually update with for Marshmellow
I've tried to re-install the zip file again using the IntelAndroid-FBRL-07-24-2015, to which now doesn't work nor does ADB Fastboot, it recognizes the device.. but now all commands pretty much fail... I don't know what else to do with this.
I did however installed the Asus Flash Recovery Program, I just cannot for the life of me find what file to use to re-flash this. Anyone please ANY SUGGESTIONS
If anyone at all has access or knows a working link for ZenPad Recovery files or raw image files.. I haven't been able to see if Asus Flash Recovery can help.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I tried the Asus Flash Recovery Program and found a raw file that seemed to be the right one. After flashing the tabled remained stuck on a spinning logo, however a hard reset in recovery solved that. My tablet is now back up and running.

I accidentally used the ROM a rom of the S7 MT6580, to flash my note 7 (Clone) n930f MT6580 with sp flash tool.
Now my phone is stocked at the Android boot logo & sometimes it wont even start. How can I solve this issue or is there a correct ROM for my phone?
Another rom that is suitable is fine to if I can install that without having ADB/download modus on(not possible).
You will be hard pressed as cline devices use a hacked together version of Android and almost never post the files due to copyright lawsuits.
Also xda doesn't deal with knock offs.

Try to flash it with the stock rom suited for your device. If it does not solve the problem, try to post in a thread related to your device and its problems The thread should have many replies for a higher chance that your question to be noticed by other members.

Do you know where I could find the right Rom, I managed to find a "system . img" file. (dont know if it is a right phone, but that one does not have a scatter file in it so don't know how this would work since I don have a working OS to install or use twrp recovery on my phone.
I also discovered a ROM of liniage os that is suitable with my device, but then again I need to have twrp recovery on my device.
ADB and download modus is not possible on my phone unfortunately.

I found a here https://mtkfirmware.blogspot.com/2016/11/samsung-note-7-clone-firmware-mt6580.html you should check it out to see if its your rom. Download it then extract. Most of the time the .rar file contains the SCATTER FILE specifically for that rom. But if it doesn't, just google it.

I flashed a corrupted bootloader to my SM-A025U variant, and now it shows in Device Manager as QUSB_BULK. and is not shown at all under Linux when I run lsusb.
The guide here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/debrick-images-hardbrick-recovery-plan.3387010/ requires a phone of the same model, which I don't have. I considered trying to use QFIL, but could not find the necessary firehose or firmware files online.
Can you use the unbrick sd card with this model, and if so could someone send me an unbrick image? If not, could you tell me where to find the files for EDL flashing?
Thanks!

The good news is that since it is bootlooping, the bootloader is probably okay.
For this model device running android 9, neither of the bootable partitions can be modified (while still running the original bootloader), even if the bootloader is unlocked, without causing a signature check failure. Since flashing some twrp version has modified the recovery partition, which is a bootable partition, the signature check is failing.

One way is to flash the original recovery partition back to the device using burn mode.

By holding the button on the device. You'll need the worldcup drivers and command line "update" burn mode tool (not the GUI burning tool).
If you have a copy of the original recovery partition, you'd just flash that with the update tool and be done.
If you don't have a copy of the original recovery partition, you can use the update tool to dump a different partition, like system, in order to learn which version of the firmware is installed on your box. Report the version here, and maybe some member will have the matching recovery partition that you can flash to your device using the update tool.

An alternative ROM, or the original ROM?
If you installed an alternative ROM, you may have "fixed" your box, but you've also blown away your drm keys forever.
If you're happy with the result, that's all that matters.
Although you could have posted that your issue had been resolved. That would have saved me from wasting my time. I always regret replying to posts about the dv8519. This is the last one for me.
