Hello guys, since yesterday I have a problem with my Tablet and I don't know how to fix it..
So : yesterday, suddenly after turning on tablet, a message appeared, saying that the Police caught me in suspicious activities (?) with my Tablet and then that they fully blocked it, and I have to pay €100 for solve. I can't do nothing, go back, home, nothing.
Now : I know that it is a FAKE so a " virus " , the same thing happened to my PC time ago, and I easily fixed it by accessing Recovery Mode on PC and booting ComboFix. I modded the Tablet, so I thought " what if I send my Tablet in CWM Recovery and so some wipes? " and then I did, because I could long press power button so I could check " Go in CWM Mode " .
But then, the issue : sadly, for my fault, I just wiped cache and dalvik, and I don't know why, ( I don't know why I remembered this ) I remembered that I had to go on Mount storage and select Format System ( I know, my big fault.. I just realized later what I've done ) and then I rebooted.
So my Tablet now stays on " Lenovo screen " everytime I try boot it. I tried many times to access again on CWM Recovery ( by keeping pressed power button while turning it on, tried to press many times Vol+ and Vol- ) but nothing.. it doesn't enter in Recovery. I'm blocked and I don't know what to do!
If it would happen to my phone, I would already fixed it, because with it I can use tools via PC like Flashtool, so I could directly flash a new Firmware. But with Tablet I don't know what I can use..

You are facing the same problem that I faced with my tablet a few months ago.
It is a very serious problem.
There is no support for chinese brands.
Don't blame me if my idea didn't work
Here's what I did to recover:
Wait until the charge of the phone completely drains and the phone gets switched off by itself.
After that, plug charger and switch on the device. The same screen appears.
Now remove plug immediately and reconnect it. Now again reboot the phone.
Do the same thing again and again. After doing it for 5 to 10 times, again connect charger and reboot system.
You device should boot normally. If not try again.
I got my device back safe like that only.
The idea may sound silly but it will work.

I have phone Lenovo S820 (mt6572) and I have huge problem.
After I bought it, it work within 4 hours. Next it restart itself and stopped on Lenovo logo.
I tried factory reset and nothing happened. I enter Chinese menu, click on one option and from now on it stopped on Android logo, of course it didn’t turn on. Still it doesn’t work. (With SIM card, without it, SD card ect).
Moreover, I tried to install new software. I found and install by Flash tool Lenovo S820 copy mt6572 Multilanguage RoM from needrom BUT, I push Firmware->Upgrade button instead of download. From that moment in general it doesn’t start at all.
My computer see it as MKT USB Port.
I don’t have backup (or it doesn’t work), cause I didn’t create it earlier.
Pls help, because I have new phone and I can’t use it

It might be a softbrick or bootloop
Hi the softbrick doesn't do as much harm as a brick (brick meens it can't be fixed and it has the value of a brick nothing)a softbrick you can fix by having a micro SDcard (or normal if your phone uses that) format it and make it a ''bootableSDcard'' (see a video on YouTube) then get a customrom and put it on your card place it inn it's place in the phone and turn it on it should bring you to a image of a android with open belly under its a progress bar when it's finished your device will restart and boot up as new

i happen to be in the same situation.
please help me i have had this tablet for a while i would say about 2 years and one week ago i noticed that the tablet shuts off by its self and when i try to open it it would be on loop then i would close it again and again until it opens up with me i would say at least for 4 trys later and it would open up but now theres a huge problem that its stuck on loop and doesnt want to open at all i tried everything i tried holding the power and volume button at the same time and it opened up the settings i pressed everything i even restored and it didnt work i tried to look for a software or something for the media pad but im afriad that ill install a virus or make it even worse pleeease im begging that someone helps me
Did you meanwhile solve your problem?
If yes, can you post solution for others to know?
If you still need help, can you tell if you can manually turn tablet off and boot to recovery (Press and hold Power button + Volume key down and release it when Mediapad logo turns on)?
Have you try to do factory reset (options wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition)? Be warned that factory reset wipes all personal data from internal storage - do don't do it if you have important data on internal storage!!
If that doesn't help you will probably have to take your tablet to repair shop for them to take a look at it.

I have a BIIIIG problem. It is my fault, but I would like to know if there is a way to fix it. My phone does not boot. When I turn it on, blinks for a sec the boot logo and then it shows a black screen with this msg:

I have a rooted Lenovo S60a with the original ROM, but I made this mistake: I installed a patch to make my Play Store valid/verifed again, because I could not install apps/updates.
The Recovery Mode with the power button & vol up does not work / show up. It is dead. I think that the adb option was not checked in the "secret" menu.
I would like to know if there is a way to save my data, to find my data, to copy my data in my pc. I don't care about the phone, it was about time to buy a new one, but I dont want to lose my contacts etc.
Any way of help is welcomed, from installing special linux on my desktop, to pulling out the rom chip and make it usb somehow!

Hello, I registered here in XDA to only ask a question.
I have a phone (Hyundai e501) that's bugged in the no command screen.
My aunt gave me the phone with the description of 'just fix it'. My guess is that the ROM is corrupted so I tried to flash a new one (if that's how it's called).
I saw a YouTube tutorial and got pretty far until it said that the phone has no space.
So my question is: how can I factory reset / format the phone without starting it? I tried to use the recovery menu but it automatically says 'No command', even when I'm not trying to get to the recovery menu.
I tried the combination of buttons that said to get to the 'No command' screen with the power and vol up button pressed and then click and unclick vol up button and it didn't work.
Is there a program that could help me? If there's not it could be a hardware issue? Thanks!
