If you are like me and are having issues sending/receiving Pic MMS using the default APN Settings that get downloaded from Cricket when you boot the phone you need to make a new APN then change the APN Type as follows.
Make sure you copy and paste what I provided of it won't work. And ask other APN Settings copy from original don't not fill in the other settings or it won't work.
•APN TYPE•
default,mms,fota,hipri,supl
Old APN Type I'm not sure why moving around Settings helps but it does. Have not tested on cm12 or 13 but I had issues sending pic MMS with asop based Roms ask the time.

I had to add PAP in authentication
Thanks, I was trying this today. I created a new APN, deleted old ones, rebooted, but still no go. I ended up adding PAP as the authentication and rebooted...now Pictures thru SMS work. After the fix, I confirmed in both Textra and hangouts to make sure one of the apps wasn't my problem. I had found the PAP setting mentioned on bestmvno. I can't post links, but search for cricket-wireless-apn-settings.

Hello
I have dcd 3.1.6 installed with dcd VZW Arcsoft MMS 5.0.31.19 and I can't seem to send a SMS message to more than 1 person. I'll put the names in that I want to send to but it will only send it to the first person. This was also an issue in the rom before this from dcd. I did a test by not having aArcsoft mms installed and was able to send multiple SMS message but obviously with that I lose MMS. If anyone knows the solution to this that would be great and thanks for your help in advance.
put a semicolon between each name
Thanks
Thanks. I remember for it would just put the semicolon in automatically. I figured since it was gone it wasn't needed anymore.
By the way
BAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR SEV-VEN-TEEN!!!!

There are NONE.... Sprint users are out of luck.... sorry
Sprint has disabled your access to using Arcsoft MMS, that said, there is a program over at ppcgeeks.com that uses your email to do it....
Hi
I can't receive or send any kind of MMS
Well, I receive it, but its stuck at "Downloading". And when I try to send one its stuck at "Sending.."
Factory reset doesnt help, flashing stock ROM etc. Doesnt work either.
Edit: Comes up a message "Cannot download message atm."
Edit 2: When thinking over it, it has never worked

Anyone?

It is becourse you are on wifi, mms can only be send and recived with the standard phone connects edge,3g,4g and so on.
I'm having the same issue, and have spent many hours on the phone with my provider vodafone uk, tried new sim, various mms settings etc, still no joy.
Your APN settings are incorrect. Ask your network provider to send you the settings for your phone via email and you can follow their detailed instructions for putting them back in. You won't be able to get historically received MMS messages but all future ones will then work.

Thanks for the answers people, it worked as soon as I activated data traffic (Tried after flashing Oxygen rom, dont know if that fixed it)

I had the same problem and had it fixed by having my telco send a 'configration settings' file over the air. This then added the correct APN details for MMS.
Internet Data
Taken from many sources and is reliable

MMS Data
Here's the MMS settings that I'm currently using. I had to move what was stated as the proxy setting into the WAP fields. They are working perfectly for sending and receiving.
Tethering
For Telus, change the Internet APN settings, APN = isp.telus.com
Go to the Internet Sharing settings and turn internet sharing on.
After that I would suggest changing the internet APN settings back to sp.telus.com without turning off internet sharing. Mind you, this is sort of hit and miss at times. I haven't really found any reason for it to be acting like that. Here's a screenshot of the internet sharing app when I am able to get it going.
Hopefully this helps everyone out there that is having the same issues that I had. Even if you aren't with Telus you generally get the drift with how it works and where to put each value. Getting the setting values for your carrier shouldn't be very hard to do. Enjoy.

Which version is your phone? Mine is
45/2012
1232.2109.1242.1001
RM-820_nam_canada_200
and my settings screen says Cellular instead of Mobile Network. I've also been unable to get consistent LTE speeds. Had them for the beginning of last week and now I only get 3G and sometimes 4G. Thinking about doing a reset to hopefully sort it out.
EDIT: Figured it out... locale settings
Yesterday, I attempted a dirty flash to the latest CM11 nightly. Upon boot, I got a load of APN errors and lots of other instability. Ok, I didn't even know what that meant at the time but...no problem. Wipe and reflash.
Everything seemed to be working fine, got everything reinstalled. SMS, phone calls, data etc works just like it should. Until I tried to send a MMS today. Gave me the same APN error. Doesn't matter if I am on WiFi or not. So I reset default settings on the APN list under settings. No change. I've also spend a lot of time searching looking for the correct VZW APN settings - tried just about everything I could find with no success.
Here are a few screens of the current APN settings.

Anyone experienced this? Solutions? Thanks...
Well, after doing some reading over the dev section, seems I'm not the only person with the problem. Now to just get a few most posts so I can contribute......
It was suggested that I change my sms app from the default CM11 messenger. I tried Handcent and Hangouts, no luck.
Have you tried a clean flash

Had the same thing happen, do a clean flash, and uninstall Google Play Movies App, worked for me after that.

I have a message thread between my fiance and I. But, for some reason, when i send her an MMS, it will create a new thread. So, then i will have 2 message threads between the same contact. Even when I am in the actual thread itself and try to add a photo that way, as soon as i click send, it appears as if the mms will go inside the same thread i'm already in, but then it disappears and when i go back to my conversations page, it shows as a new thread. Then all further sms' received will go inside the new thread the MMS created.
I already tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1227352&page=2
but all that did was merge the threads together, but, then again, i send an MMS and it creates a new thread.
i did notice, however, when i use SMS Backup and Restore and i use the "Backup selected threads" feature, it will show the phone number in different formats. EX: +1xxxxxxxxxx and +1 xxx-xxx-xxxx
I know that has something to do with it because every time i tried the method in the link above, The new MMS that created a new thread, will show up in the .xml file under a different number format than the other SMS'.
I don't understand why my phone doesn't recognize the number formats as the same contact .
PLEASE HELP!
Here is a screenshot of what i mean by 'Multiple Threads for the Same Contact'

Are your contacts properly synced to google? This happened to me before. But once I synced my contacts to google they're now properly merged. Weird issue though.
