Hello everyone.
I'm coming through this post to ask someone an A20 firmware.
The fact is: I looked for roms, but it's harder to find one. I tried lots of roms, I got two that worked good,
but unfortunatelly, I got camera and g-sensor problems (I think they're for 10 inches tablets).
I don't want to use the default rom that comes with my tablet because it has only 500mb of internal storage
(the internal storage used for applications, and besides, 150mb already come "used"). Also, after some months
the firmware starts getting slow and freezing during initialization.
My tablet specifications are attached to the post.
OK guys I have looked around threads and I couldn't find one (or see if there is one) suggesting my problem. Anyway we I've been trying to download apps and noticed that the devices "Misc Items" storage is taking up 11.04 gigabyte us of my systems storage and I cannot download anymore applications to my device. I just recieved it today and it's running Android 4.2.2. It is rooted, and I used Framaroot to root it. If anyone could give me a tip or something to rid of that rediculous 11 gigs of space without formatting, I'd definitely appreciated it.
I'm a long time android user but have never rooted/flashed/recovered or anything like that.
A few weeks ago i bought a "full android" smart watch, the Lemfo LEM4.
According to the specs it's has android 4.4.
https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pr...32742033816.html?spm=2114.12010608.0.0.AGUhkp
It has 4 GB of storage but it seems that it is divided into different parts. There is only 601mb of space for installing apps and a seperate partition with about 2gb of storage for video's, photo's, music and other files.
I have already opened a thread about that :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sma...emfo-lem4-smart-watch-memory-storage-t3516500
The 601mb partition is already loaded with stock apps, and you get about 150mb of free space to install other apps. You can imagine that this makes the watch very limited.
So i'm trying to figure out a way to change all that but my knowledge of android rooting and "hacking" is very very limited right now.
So i'm turning to the XDA community to try to find answers for a couple of questions.
1. I was wondering if the 601mb partition and 2gb partition is actually one storagespace that is split into two partitions(or more parts, because i don't know where the android OS is stored on). So is there a way (or an app) to find that out.
2. If it is indeed one storagespace, is there a way to change the partition (for example putting the 601mb and 2gb back together).
3. Additional question : can i install another android version onto this smart watch? Or do you need drivers and special software to make it all work.
Can this all be done?
I'm trying to figure all this out too. Along with if/where the SD card slot is (or if it's the same as the SIM slot).
Edit: SOB! I just read that it doesn't support TF or SD cards. It must have been listed on a bunch of generic Chinese listings that just list every feature you'd want to see. Sighh. Guess I'll join the struggle of figuring out how to repartition.
I used flash tool to upgrade Oukitel C5 Pro (16GB ROM) from Android stock 6.0 to 7.0. Now when I go to settings - Storage Settings, it tells me 7.83 GB total used of 16.0 GB. When I go in for details I have 2.55 GB apps and the other items listed (images, videos, audio, other, cached data) are minimum.
Would just appreciate a confirmation that this is correct?, so I can continue setting up phone. I think I had a lot more free before the upgrade. Is about 5 GB correct for Android 7 to use. Maybe the extra partition for the seamless updates?
Or is there something hanging around from the upgrade?
I used "firmware update" and default options (all items ticked) in flash tool. I have tried a clear cache partition but made no difference.
(I asked in the device specific thread but there is not much traffic there.)
EDIT: Seems to be correct. Found an app that shows 3.78GB reserved for Android and 10.9 for apps and files giving a total of 14.68GB, which of course is 16GB unformatted.
Hi
I have a chinese android phone, it displays "SUSAN" when it starts up and here are the techincals:
Development Device ID
J3RF-M3EP-6USW-6
MODEL NUMBER
M5
ANDROID VERSION
5.1
BASEBAND VERSION
SC7731
BUILD NUMBER
DW_X10_H2.0_GT022X_M5_BOE_QG_FL_V1.0_20171202
HARDWARE VERSION
HW_V2.0
I am trying to find ANY rom that will actually allow me to use the phone.
It has an Octa Core, 2GB ram, 32GB storage.
Problem is, the firmware that is installed at the moment will not allow me to install ANYTHING as it says there is not enough space.
I have done fill hardware resets and it still reports this. I have even put a 32GB Micros SD and set that to be the install location, and it still wont allow me to install anything.
The phone is already unlocked.
I have NEVER flashed a firmware before so please, make the instructions as idiot proof as possible.
Thank you in advance.
Hey,
Did u get anywhere with this, I have been looking around for a ROM / flashing procedure for one of these phones to make it usable.
Thanks.

Although I haven't tried to flash it yet.....
I just replied to another member What a strange coincidence. I have a friend of mine who owns a pawn shop and he always lends me "acquired" phones so I can analyze them and see if I want to buy them I have on my person the X8 5.1 susan. I'm Canadian and usually were pretty limited to our choices from providers. how a china phone got here? i've never even heard of this brand I don't even know what it is root would be an option. if I could know if I can get it to nougat. I started up with S6 then s7 and now I'm at the S8 (oreo) can't root and S8 Plus rooted nougat. I can't have an unrooted phone it's like driving a Porsche that's an automatic. Anyway so far my used with it has been very frustrating because it's it's not very touchscreen friendly at least mine is in and I don't know what version of Android experience it is but it's not very opening to the user. I've come to the conclusion that I think pixels are the way to go I just don't want to pay 1300 bucks for one because I know that I'll drop it in the sewer two days after I own it. he wants $80 for it.
OS flawed
there must be bugs in OS ... 8GB but access to 2% ???
susan M5 Phone

Is a joke. It doesn't have 8 GB storage. It have 87 MB.
Same on RAM and CPU. It have 256 MB RAM and a 2 x @1.00 GHZ CPU (sc8825).
You can root this phone and put LINK2SD which moves your apps to sdcard.
Please keep the stock firmware (in this case, you can make a backup if you want to flash an firmware).

Hi There,
at first I would recomand to Root.
Try king root, Frama root and so one (playstore or use xda search)
Then You can look after read and Write permissions in your Device.
That should solve your Problem.
Susan X5
Your smartphone has less than 30MB of system storage. I have my brother's Susan X5 and I checked it via commands.
adb shell
df
The image shows it. Any app you want to install has to have less than 30 MB size and you have to forcefully install it to your sdcard. Even if your sdcard is not full, since the system partition is less than 30 MB, it will be not able to copy it from system to sdcard.
Install everything in sdcard with the storage option in settings, "install everything on sdcard".
That Chinese smartphone is not even lollipop. You can tell it from the icons size and ui. The sdcard directory is write protected, so you cannot check it and test the scam. The texts saying Android version number and storage size are fake. If you can build a rom you can fake these numbers.
My brother bought from the Wish company. I have seen Wish adverts, the products they sell... well, they lack any common sense.
Now you know why.
I have a phone which displays susan and model is y6,can i get its flash rom?
