Hello everyone,
i have a simple question and would be grateful if someone could shed some light on rooting android based televisions (smart TV's)
well i have purchased a 55 smart (so called) 3d TV which is pretty lovely and have some nice specs & features like youtube, skype builtin cam, magic remote, voice control, 3d, etc but i do know that it can be utilised alot more with the magic of XDA developers, for example it doesnt have chrome nor you can access playstore or install apps other than the junk in LG app store,
specs of the TV as below, (sorry for pasting the general specs, but thought it would help to show some of the components in the TV such as processor or NFC, WIFI etc,,,)

it would be perfect just to be able to use chrome instead of the default crappy browser, or ultimately access the playstore and install any compatible app that can be used, having a custom rom all together would be awesome as well

I'm having one of these chinese "Android-Car-DVD-Player-for-Mazda-6-2008-2012-with-3G-Wifi-GPS-Bluetooth-Radio-TV" multimedia dashes in my car, and it's with Android 2.2. I'd like to update it to newer version and propably add finnish language into it too (oh and yea, l'd like to get support for animated backgrounds to extend my short ****, damn swaaaag is important )

I have had this tablet for over a year and have used it like 10 times in all that time because i really dont like the way it runs at all. I always use my Samsung Tab 2. Anyway, i would like to use this tablet for media eg my Roki app and i was wondering how can i install a better ROM on it. I have seen somewhere that one can install the Jellybean 4.1.1 or similar on it

there will be an accompany app that needs to be installed for daydream idk if they will detect it using that, the headset itself should work with any/most vr games. i have a google cardboard and can get it working on a honor 6. the image quality is poor tho as the display is crap
Is the Honor 7 capable of decoding 60fps video?
i have no idea about that cant you download a 60fps video and try play it?

Youtube 360 videos at 60 fps work perfectly, I don't know if the specs assume more than that with the "2 instances of 60fps video"

vr splits the screen in half and displays two images at once, does the honor 7 fit the other requirements?
