Hi TechTex198,
good job but i think it's better to install directly the Twrp without Kingo and Flashify apk into phone, a best way with Odin.
It's possible to install SuperSU package under Kingo with some shell script but it's more harder especially on KitKat.
So to do:
- Boot into HRESET : Vdwn + Home + Power
- Odin: Load twrp.tar (vivalto3mveml3g) into PDA and set Auto Reboot then Start process
- Boot into RECOVERY : Vup + Home + Power (hold on Samsung logo)
- Install Update from SDCard: UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip (latest)
- Reboot

use the download from here, the official superuser.
http://androidsu.com/superuser/
you will have to add busybox to the zip from this zip or just add it manually

How to do this ?
Which kernel is this, the one which is supposed to be flashed via flashtool(kernel.sin)?
There is absolutely no need to flash the kernel and then flash original kernel back if you have unlocked bootloader. You can just boot the kernel (fastboot boot <kernel image>) then enter CWM and flash the zip. When you reboot the phone it will start on the original kernel.
trying now in 4.0.4
not working for me, i think i need to downgrade.
hi i managed to update my tab to the latest firmware 4.0.4 . Previously it was already rooted and TWRP installed. I was thinking of rooting and backing up this build so from romtoolbox i boot into recovery mode (thinking that i will be seeing TWRP) But when boot i was shown the folllowing picture

since all of my buttons are not working (hence the reason installing TWRP ) i was ok fine lets reboot it via adb. therefore i run adb reboot and yet it still boots back to the same screen . Thinking i need to reverting all of the changes via odin i tried reboot download also does not work. reboot-bootloader also does not work. apprently i am stuck at this screen.
Right now i only have access to adb and is there any way i can recover from this?
many thanks again
I'm assuming you were running some kind of custom rom with TWRP as your recovery before going to stock ICS. Essentially, flashing stock ICS overwrote the old TWRP.
To fix it, flash in TWRP again (its somewhere in the development section) via Odin.
EDIT: If you can't access download mode... Try push the TWRP .tar file via ADB

the thing is i only root and installed twrp for the sake of backing up since my daughter loves to install application. I've read about pushing / Installing application but that would requires root right? this is my command console like
Right now is there a way to force it to boot into download because thats the only way i see i can fix it (without using physical buttons)
Again many thanks for replying.
This phone is my brother's. He said he just downloaded a system update, I think it is OTA. And when update starts (from the stock recovery? not sure) It stucks at 50% progress bar, and it reboots. And update starts again, and reboots again. It won't boot even after removing battery, putting battery back on and turning the phone on, it persistently go back to loop update system. Should I flash it with a stock ROM? which one? The build no. I think is 1.0020? Can I flash the 1.050 one? Here is a pic of what's happening in a loop.

Follow this guide to reboot into recovery
http://www.hardreset.info/devices/acer/acer-liquid-z630/recovery-mode/
After entering recovery , try factory resetting your device.
This will reset all data.
If the above method didnt work , only option is to flash a Rom manually using SP Flash Tool
Stock Rom

Hello there. Please take a look at this guide by Shreps.
Download a compatible custom recovery (CWM or TWRP) for your device. Also download the firmware (ROM) for your device (list by Shreps). Please refer to the guide (there should be one). You would need to (a) Install necessary drivers, and (b) ADB and Fastboot interface (try this)
Copy the custom recovery image into the root folder of your ADB and Fastboot program. Copy the firmware to your device (via external sdcard since you cant copy directly into the internal sdcard).
Go to recovery via (a) volume up + power buttons, or if device accessible via ADB, (b) adb reboot recovery
In the recovery options, choose 'fastboot' (or simply, via adb: adb reboot bootloader)
Go to your terminal/cmd: fastboot devices - and see if your device is recognized
Then: fastboot boot "recovery.img" (replace "recovery" with the name of the recovery image)
In the recovery, navigate and select "Install" and select the firmware on the external sdcard. (wiki)
If you cant install via fastboot (bootloader must be unlocked first before using fastboot), then flash the rom via SP Flash tool (refer to the guide)

Hi!
I made a tutorial to teach how to root the Ace 4 Lite because the tutorials in youtube cause bricks on the phone, and i discover how to get the root.
Video tutorial:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roV2pbVIyeo
First download the files:
- Download Official Samsung drivers.
- Download TWRP 3.1.1 by @Parthib Link
- Download Odin 3.09 by @daerragh Link
- SuperUser v2.76 by @Chainfire Link
Installing the root:
1. Install Samsung drivers
2. Transfer the Super su file in your internal or SD card, and shut down your phone.
2. Open Odin, uncheck "Auto Reboot", select in "AP" the TWRP file
3. Put in download mode your phone (Volume down + home + power button)
4. Plug your phone, and push start in Odin. Wait until the diaog say "REBOOT".
5. Force the shutdown in your phone, then start in recovery mode (Volume up + home + power button) until a TWRP screen appear.
6. Select install, then select your the "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76-20160630161323.zip" file.
7. Swipe to install and reboot.
8. IMPORTANT: Wait until your phone finish boot all the system, then wait another 10-15 minutes aprox. without do anithing in your phone.
9. Open Super SU app, then select "new user" and wait until the program finish configuring the SuperSU, then wait 10 minutes without do anything to your phone.
10. Check if your phone is rooted with Root Checker app.
11. Now you have your Galaxy Ace 4 Lite rooted
NOTE: if your phone says that's not rooted, reboot your phone and wait 10 minutes again until the system completely starts, then open Super SU app, wait another 10 minutes and check again your root status.
Thanks to @Parthib , @daerragh , @Chainfire for aport the android modding to do this tutorial.

Hello ..
I'm using LineageOS 14.1 with android version 7.1.2 & ADB Enabled
When trying to root it with Odin V3.12 flashing "CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.zip" file, everything goes smooth till the end & showing me ( Pass ) green mark ( as shown in the attached pic ), but after rebooting i check with SuperSU apk to find that it's still not Rooted !!
I've tried KingoRoot Android Apk & Pc Versions, Both Failed !!
What's going on here?!!, Any Idea ?
Thanks

Take the SU-addon from lineage & flash it via twrp ?
I also was not able to get the device rooted. I tried 3 different ways all without success:
I downloaded Magisk v25.2 (Latest) from github, patched the boot.img from the installed ROM: lineage-17.1-20200717-UNOFFICIAL-i9300.zip, all with no errors. Instead of using fastboot I renamed the patched magisk_patched-25200_eb1Em.img to boot.img and created a tar file from it so I can flash it with Odin3 v3.14.1.exe (AP checkbox) as I did for the twrp recovery image. After this some signs of root access are visible. Root Checker Pro even shows my device as rooted. Still it says that the su binaries are missing and Magisk keeps showing as not installed.
I also tried CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0xx-gti9300.tar through odin
Finally I tried to install the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip through the installed twrp recovery but the results stay the same. Root Checker Pro still shows that the Superuser Binary files are not installed.
If there is somebody who managed to get Magisk and/or root access fully working please let us know.
