Hi there guys,
I have an old phone Xperia Sola. Yesterday I did a factory reset from phone setting. Factory reset was successful. Phone restarts but every app starts to crash as soon as phone boots and I am unable to use the phone. Tried PC companion can't get to the flash mode, Tried Flashtool same issue can't get to the flash mode. All drivers are installed but phone doesn't show up in flash mode. It does boot normal but on each restart after sony and xperia logo there is a windows saying (Android is upgrading... Optimising Application 0 of 84) this process runs and then again errors and phone reboots like I just performed factory reset. It does showup in fastboot but not in flash mode kindly help I am stuck here.
Notes:
1. Phone is not rooted/Dont know about the bootloader whether is it locked or unlocked.
2. I am using windows 10 so kindly if you guys know any issues related to drivers on windows 10 do let me know and share drivers If you know about any. (Using windows 8.1 drivers and technique)
3. I have installed adb but flashtool show no device even when my phone is connected. (Screenshot is attached)
4. I can't turn on usb debugging mode because I can't use the phone.

hello guys,i have a problem here,and i can't figure out how to fix it..the problem is,i can't connect my phone to my laptop with flash mode,everytime i connect there's a pop up shown "SEMC flash device" and then my laptop is freezing,so i have to force shut down it..i did search on google and here on XDA forums,but none are works,my laptop are still freezing everytime i connect the phone into the flash mode,i did what they told,like cleaning system with ccleaner,reboot into safe mode and try to connect into the flash mode,but still not working...
this is what i do :
1. clean with CCleaner
2. reboot laptop into the safe mode
3. when windows are on,i turn off my phone,then connect it to my laptop with flash mode
4. pop up "SEMC flash device" shown
5. laptop stuck
did i make any wrong step there?
as you can see on my third step,i just connect the phone with the flash mode (hold turn down volume button and connect the USB) do i need to run any programs to install the SEMC flash device?
is there's a way i can install the SEMC flash device without connect my phone?because i tried many usb_flash driver exe files i found,but none are works..
or maybe a repair for windows to fix it?
FYI I'm running on acer laptop,with windows xp sp 3,and i've tried on my brother's laptop with windows 7,but still the same,PC companion,ggsetup,ADB driver is installed correctly i think,since i can root my phone,and put some tweaks..
anyone can help me?please?
I can't access flashtool or SEUS,and that's not good..

that's what I do after with the normal mode fail,and because on many sites i found about this problem said so,they said if i keep freezing on the normal mode,then i should go to the safe mode and try again..
but they did it,and I didn't,mine are keep freezing,no matter what mode is
nevermind,,i just upgrade to windows 7 and it works well now..you can close this useless thread now sir,,

I am on a Neo, running Super Jelly Bean 7. Today I do something stupid then I want to change the kernel but I now UNABLE TO CONNECT THE PHONE IN FASTBOOT or FLASHMODE
I did try followings"
1) Phone off, press & hold Menu while connecting cable. Led flash blue once, then led off and Sony (text logo) appear
2) Phone off, press & hold Back while connecting cable. Led flash green once, then led off and Sony (text logo) appear
3) Phone off, then power on the phone. Few first seconds when booting, led is purple, then led off and the phone boot normally. When I connect it to my PC, flashtool recognizes it properly (says its a Neo phone). I tried to use flashtool to reboot the phone into fastboot via ABD. The phone reboot but not enter fastboot (screen shows like 1st case)
I also try to switch off phone for few mins, clear system/cache/data... restore the phone from my backup, or even make clean install new custom ROM (from zip file)... but all not work!
In my PC, I reinstall adb/fastboot/flashmode drivers... but seem nothing work
My system:

PS: I did flash ROMs (stock and custom, GB, ICS and JB) many times. And of course, I entered fastboot/flashmode many times.
This is hardware issue... same problem with me tried everything setool2, 4se nothing worked. .. Now your device can be flashed with testpoint if you manufacturing date is below 12w10... Only stock firmware

Just to inform you that I have solved the issue but not really sure what is the root cause: Following is steps I make
- New (another) PC
- Another USB cable - Important to make sure good connection between PC and the phone
- Install updated driver from Sony site
- When connecting device to PC, DO NOT use automatic driver install. I manually chose the updated drivers
After that I now can reboot the phone into flashmode/fastboot again

Sorry, ive found a similar thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2820018. So the situation:
1. Download PC Companion and pc companion tells me to update.
2. Download finished, and its asking me to hold back key and plug the usb simultaneously.
3. I know im supposed to wait the green led, but it doesnt stay on, it flashes about 0.1 sec then turns off.
4. It then showed SE logo and showed the battery charging.
5. Update Service also not working.
6. Flashtool: Not working.
7. I know that S1Boot driver is installed, because ive flashed a lot of phones over and over again, only this MT15i failed.
8. The phone is definitely UNROOTED and still on LOCKED. And i plan to let it stay that way until its been updated to stock ics .587.
How can i access flashmode / fastboot without pressing those keys?

And now, the phone seems stuck at that SE logo. Waiting for half an hour now, no reboot, just that logo.
Ive heard about the need to use OctopusBox, JTAG and the like, but i want to refrain from using them. (Paid service, not sure if it would work at all)

So I wanted to try out the newest CM12 ROM with A5.0 but seems like it didnt exactly happen how I wanted it. Rooting the device and then installing the XZDualRecovery without a problem. Then downloaded the ROM and gapps.
I have SGP311 (pollux_windy) so I downloaded that version of the CM12 at first. It said that my device is pollux, which I ofc was dumb enough to just skip and download the pollux ver and then install that one. So I installed the pollux ver instead of pollux_windy and when I hit restart device I didnt see it boot again.
So I wanted to connect it to my PC, PC didnt recognize it ofc. Only way my PC regonizes my tab is by fastboot mode. I had to install a driver for that. And even then only the Sony Mobile Flasher by Androxyde recognised it. I run into bootloop various times before with my tab and Emma always fixed it but thats unfortunately not the case here as Emma doesnt recognise it either :/
So now here's the problem, I can only do fastboot mode (not flashmode) and the only program able to do sth with my device is this Sony Mobile Flasher. I downloaded a official FW there and wanted to install it but it required me to go into the flashmode which I can't.
Is there sth I can do? The only thing working is the LED and fastboot mode.
Is there a way to put the device into flashmode via PC, that would solve all issues or maybe a trick to go into flashmode? As there was some thread about it but the thing they did didnt work for me :/

Nevermind, I just forgot how to use Emma....
For anyone to whom this happens:
Computer: Open Emma from the Start menu of your computer.
Connect a USB cable to your computer.
Phone: Turn off your tab.
Connect your tab to the USB cable while holding the VOLUME DOWN.
Computer: Select the software you want to flash in the Service list. The tool automatically detects the tab and lists available software versions, which are called Services in this flash tool.
Click on Apply Service. The tab will now be flashed.
Phone: When you have flashed your device, you can disconnect your phone from the computer. The first time you start your device after you have flashed it, the boot-up might take a little longer than normal.

I'm trying to get new software to my Sony Xperia E3 but computer can't see my phone in flashmode.(Fastboot is ok)
When I normally turn on a phone I can see boot screen (Sony, Xperia) and it stay on this.
I can see green light on phone but computer can't see it.
I'm using sony mobile flasher by Androxyde.
How I can solve this?
So, let's resume in correct terms:
-You tried to flash something using Odin but your computer does not detect your device.
-Now you got into a bootloop.
Is that correct?
No. Phone restarted by itself, started loading android and turned off.
It's everything.

if u are using windows 8 you must disable verification and then reinstall drivers
also try reinstalling drivers from the folder in the /flashtool/drivers folder
make sure you are not using a 3.0 usb port, it causes many issues.
