hydrogenOS vs cm12 .1 ?? - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

which one do you prefer? i get better benchmark score 51000 on CM12 but like the UI of H2OS, i find it smoother too despite a lesser score of 47500.

It's only numbers. I have h2os and works great. Completely lag free and multitasking is nice

It has the battery draining as every ROM based in Lollipop?

Battery life is better than Oxygen OS 2.1.3.x One Day with more than 4h screen and LTE using all time

Does h2os have multilanguage?

I stay h2os for blu spark kernel + layer support

eng.stk has already confirmed about bluspark kernel compatibility in his own thread comments...yes it works

the quick settings are very annoying in h2os... sometimes i have to try like 2-3-4 times until i get the quicksettings to appear (by swiping from bottom to top)
and when i swipe two times from top to bottom (for notifications panel), a large gap appears between statusbar & the first notification lol, anyone else has this?

What's the difference between this and the 2.2.0 one?
Do you have any changelogs, etc?
Could you post some snapshots, too?

After a whole day, this rom Seems stable and smooth. The battery is almost full (%76). Benchmark is good but less than MEDROID V6.1 but stable (including the ap2sd build in...).
Also used it for one day now, seems really stable!
The only thing I noticed is when you turn on the battery percentage option, the default battery icon doesn't disappear:
Should it be like that? I would prefer the battery icon to disappear cause it saves space in the the status bar.

[MOD][2.3+] Remove "Downloaded Only" banner from Play Music (PMDOR)

Simple module this, removes the "Downloaded Only" bar from the top of Play Music, which can be annoying when you're offline and turn it on to avoid greyed out albums and unplayable songs
Doesn't remove the drawer option, so you can still turn it off there.

This no longer works on the latest version (5.8).
Updated for material version (sorry for the delay), I'm pretty sure it will still work on Android 2.3 but am not totally sure, if anyone can test that would be great
New icon too:

Grey Bar on bottom of screen
Hey man, love your module! But there is one thing that is kind of annoying me, after turning on Download Only mode, a grey bar appears at the bottom of the screen, assumingly the same size as the removed "Download Only" banner. Don't know if this is replicated on every device but it is on mine.
Thank you for this fantastic module! I was just wondering if there are any plans to also remove the "Get Unlimited Music" banner that was added in the latest update. Thanks
MODEL: VS980 ?
ROM: LiquidSmooth ?
KRNL: B14CKB1RD ?
RCVRY: TWRP 2.8.4.0 ?
Hey man just a heads up that the update to GPM today broke your module, hope you can fix it. By far my most favorite module.
Yes, on the new version the text is removed but the bar still remains.

Works pretty well on Samsung (TW) 5.1 but you need to change any setting first and then click the apply button to restart to actually get things to appear.
It works on my Verizon Samsung s4, and let me tell you it works even better than stock one that used to hang with nova launcher, with your module it's fixed thanks a lot

It works on my hTC one (M7).
Thanks you! I hope that on next update, this app will have "auto clean recent app" feature.
Why would you wanna clear all tasks? It only leads to increased battery usage
Its a good idea but the problem is (like gravitybox) doesn't work with cm12.1
As it is, it does not seem to install on KitKat...
Is it possible to recompile the apk with minapi 19? Thanks!
Works on Moto X Pure. But can you please revise that RAM bar? It's ugly... lol

Can you make the ram bar look like how it is in temasek and resurrection remix rom and can you add an option for bottom center clear all recent icon? Thanks
Great job.
It works perfect in my OnePlus One 5.1
Can you create a widget CLEAR ALL?
Would be great
Works on my S6Edge. But i dont see automatic clear, and ram in recent dont work in landscape mode.
Works well on my one plus 2 oxygen os, except for the apply changes part.
I have to manually reboot or restart the system UI.
But gr8 work.

OOS status bar signal icons

How do I change these?
I'm xposed.
Hate the look of the stock blocky icons, I'd like some bars.
Thanks
You can try GravityBox[LP] in the Xposed downloads. It's great for AOSP/stock roms but it may cause issues with OOS. I remember trying it but I didn't like how it behaved on this ROM so I uninstalled it.
First thing I tried. No options for those icons tho.
Think I'm gonna have to install a cm13 based ROM. Been put off a bit by the persistent bugs tho. Wish I had the talent to squash them...

App called XStana is also useful... I can't confirm if it works with OOS but it worked with Touchwiz so my guess would be yes

Maybe start here? https://github.com/0x192/universal-android-debloater/
You'll still need to do some research regarding packages but the basic lists should be safe.
I only debloat bixby, Game Optimizing Service as well as game launcher and game booster, AR Emojis and thats it. Been doing it since my A70 then now on my a52 5G.
Here is my list of debloated apps, significantly decreases number of running services and helps increase free ram.
My device is a52 5g latest oneui 4.1 firmware, rooted with latest magisk.

By using "system app remover pro" app. You need to be rooted to use that app. If not rooted, you can search for other method on the internet and use my list as reference.
