Kingzone z1 have the MTK 6752 and i want to do it with lilipop ROM from lenovo k3 note k50 with the same processor
I have read http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-how-to-port-lollipop-based-roms-t3223938
Is it possible? Some one have Lredy fine it?
I want to di it because MTK 6752 is an 64bit and KitKat is 32 so i want to port it to lilipop to run android compleatly in 64bit
It will work?
The kingzone have the magnometre, screen gesture and fingher print reader, after the porting and copy of sensors.mt65xx.so lilipop will have access to these devises?
did you get it to work? i could not port anything due to the system partitions does not even allow install the ported rom
Havn't been able to find any info on this.
Lots for the k1 but the z1 seems completely unsupported. Did it not sell very well? Thought by now there'd be a few to try.

So I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 851F Tablet, which can Boot up Remix OS 32bit if i use xforcevesa, sadly it's laggy, touchscreen doesn't work, the DPI are way off and its crashing sometimes.
The tablet has a Z3745 Bay Trail CPU, 2 GB Ram, a 1920x1200 display, Broadcom Wireless adapter (BCMSDH43XX), and seems to have the same components as the Lenovo Yoga 2 830F, which is an android tablet that has an official Lollipop rom (5.0).
Lenovo even released the source code for their Lollipop rom
Could I extract drivers from that ROM and add them somehow to Remix OS?
Edit: I also had to out comment the line "terminal_output gfxterm" from grub, else it would only show question marks instead of actual writing.
Btw the touchscreen does work with the newest Android x86 6.0.1, so there must be a driver for it somewhere.
Hello, I have ordered my xiaomi, and I have seen all the mobile with s650 or s652, and same with only this SOC, they have a lot of mobile, some people work to port their roms ? I think : EUI from LeEco, Xperia from the X, or ColorOS and all the others
link to all the phones equipped with s652 : http://www.kimovil.com/en/compare-smartphones/order.kiPerformance,f_dp+id.198

I May Be Spamming But I've Gone Through Many Threads But I Can't Find A Post Where You Can Port A Marshmallow Rom To A Device Running Lollipop.. If I'm Wrong Someone direct Me To A Proper Guide..
My Total Problem Is I Have A "Lenovo Phab Pb1-750m" (Not Plus) which Lenovo Would Have Even Forgot it Released :crying:
Device Runs with Lollipop Rom (Don't Know What The Stock Rom Type is) On A ArmV7 Snapdragon 410 msm8916
I've Thought Of Porting Roms From Different Devices Running Marshmallow With The Same Specs As Mine Like Lenovo A6000 and Yu Yuphoria... But Couldn't Find A Definitive Guide To Port Marshmallow Roms To Lollipop Devices (I May B Wrong)..
I'm Not A Dev Or Not Even Someone Who Knows Coding..
If Someone Is Upto The Task Of Porting A Rom For My Device, I'll Be More Than Happy To Help..
I know maybe this would be difficult since developers doesn't have SoC of MediaTek Helio X27 but I love MIUI and it would be great that someone with knowledge of porting and developing can port a MIUI 8 ROM to UMIDIGI Z and/or Z Pro.
I found this tutorial on this site:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/guide-build-port-miui-rom-to-device-t3250984
I don't know anything about doing this so, the most I think I can do to help is to offer my Z Pro (and me, obviously) for testing the ROM if someone of here decides to do it.
Thanks!
Hi,
I’m asking your help because i’m getting lost, i explain :
I’ve got a Acer Liquid Jade S (Acer S56) with a MT6752 CPU, it’s currently on Android 5.1 and i want to « port » higher Android from another phone with the same soc.
I already tried in august and july to build my own rom for this device but i never did it before, it was my first « rom building experiment » and nothing so far, it’s too hard for me, there is no device tree at all so ^^’
The good thing as i already said, there is a lot of other phone with the same CPU like Lenovo K3 Note, Lenovo P70, Jiayu S3 with latest android version custom rom.
I ported a 5.1 stock rom from the Lenovo P70 and it’s work (but still 5.1..) because the rom was x86 and that’s the issue...
There is a lot of rom but they are all x64 and i only got a x32 rom with my Acer (the cpu is compatible x64, strange choice from acer).
So i’m asking, how can i port if i don’t have a x64 kernel and « x64 base stock file », like lib64, it is possible ? Acer guive the Kernel Source, but for Kitkat, i’m asking if there is no way to « upgrade it » to support higher Android version and add x64 compatibility, but will it work (probably with some bug but don’t care ^^) ?
Because i don’t have the lib for 64, I know it’s possible because i look myself on lenovo website and they provide Android 5.1 x32 and not 64. Someone ported the stock rom to x64 but i didn’t find how…
Can you please help me ? I know that phone start to be « old » but it’s good for me, i’m not a Android « gamer », just want most recent android because apps starts to be not compatible with 5.1
Thanks
Any idea ?
