Note 5 Bootloop - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Recently I rooted my phone, Note 5 (t-mobile variant). It did not go too well. Everything worked fine but when I would power it on, there would be a message in the corner that read, "Kernel is not seandroid enforcing". After I rooted it would randomly shut off, especially during phone calls. I was getting sick of it. Yesterday I accidentally opened the smart manager app and I saw it said threat detected so I clicked on it and it said something about Knox and I pressed restart. Big Mistake! I soft bricked because it was on a constant bootloop. Since then, I was able to install TWRP Recovery. I need the files on my phone. I'm not trying to install a ROM, I just want it back to the way it was. Is it possible to get all my files off the phone before factory resetting it?

Just downloaded original firmware in sammobile and reset your device in odin, always be careful that your really download your right firmware with the right device

[Q] Cannot Turn on Wifi (Wifi is stuck)

Alright so heres the story!
I bought my samsung gear watch and realized I cannot use it because my phone is rooted and on 4.1.2
So I tried to unroot my phone so I was able to update back to 4.3 and use my new watch.
So first I reset my flash counter using Triangle Away.
Then I downloaded my stock rom from SamMobile. (SGH-I747M 4.3)
I flashed that using odinlite.
After reading tutorials that was supposed to be the end of it all and I was unrooted.
After flashing, it turns out I couldn't turn on my WiFi. It would never turn green and refuses to turn on.
I read more online and ended up factory resetting my phone.
This is where it gets weird. After factory resetting my phone in hopes my wifi will turn on again, turns out my flash counter is back at 1 and I have a custom binary again.
So at this point, my phone is not rooted and I factory resetted my phone but my "custom binary download" is at 1 again.
Im stuck here now hoping you guys can help me out.
I think I might have to reroot my "already custom phone" then to try the process all over again.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANKS

Samsung Galaxy s4 T-mobile bricked bootlogo

hello i tryed to root the phone using odin 3.07 and i did what the website told me to i put the phone into download mode started odin, odin found the device, clicked PDA after i clicked start and it said pass, phone rebooted and i shut it down held volume+ home screen and lock screen and clicked the first option which was to move the CyanogenMod file which was in the SD catagory. After i clicked reboot and it restarted and froze or stopped at the T-mobile 4G sign and the blue LED was on. i have tryed restarting the phone taking out battery, factory reseting through volume+ home screen and lock screen and option but still nothing. Just frozen at this point i dont mind making the phone to change back to factory setting with no root. the problem is that i dont know how to do that. i read online that people said that you could download the factory tar file and go into odin and do the process but dont know if thats what i should do plus i cant find a link or place to download that. the phone is a T-mobile samsung galaxy s4 was on andoid 4.3 before froze and model 919 and mk2. if this is the problem i was wondering if i could still go to t-mobile and ask them to fix it or replace it in worse case scenario but i am not sure if the phone is fully rooted and if they diagnose it, will it pop up as rooted. please help!!!!

S3 Complete OS reinstall

Hello androiders,
Recently my friend drowned his S6 and told me that he needs a spare phone. He has one, but it's messed up he said. So as a good friend I took that phone home and it appears to be Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 international model for baltic countries. The phone was always kept factory set and never rooted or tweaked in any other way. I am also a really early begginner in this android business, so I am not completely sure what I did.
At first I thought, well, no problem I'm just gonna connect it to Kies and do an emergency recovery. But no, Kies downloads the files all right, but hangs on 0% when installing, also the phone doesn't show any progress bar in download mode. So I abandoned the Kies idea.
Then I said ok, let's try Odin. Got the ROM from Sammobile, checked the tutorials and tried flashing. It went okay for about 80% and then said "FAIL!". After browsing through the abbyss of Google I found that you have to extract the missing.img file and reformat it o .tar, then flash it again. Did that and it semi worked, it started booting! BUT nothing lasts forever, the phone started showing error messages in red and it looks like the phone cannot read the data flashed into it.
So, people, I am asking for your help. I think I need to delete every single crumb of information from the phone and write everything manually in it. Or don't I?

I soft bricked my phone

I successfully rooted my phone about a year and a half ago, all went well. Sunday night I had my phone plugged into my computer, and somehow I must have clicked "update" in the Verizon Assistant thing. So it starts updating, and about 2 seconds later I realized what I did. So the phone finishes updating and then goes into the setup wizard. I got a couple questions in and got a message to the effect of "The wizard stopped working", I'd hit "ok" and less than a second later the message would pop back up. So I figured I'd reflash the existing ROM in Odin. "Fail".
Now my phone turns on and goes straight into what I believe is Odin mode. It says "ODIN MODE" with the same text it has in what I know is Odin mode. The only difference is that it doesn't have the green android in the center, it says "Software Update Failed - Your device didn't update successfully, Use the Verizon Software Repair Assistant on a computer to repair your device and complete the update". (Is this the same mode as entering Odin mode with the power/home/vol dn buttons?) So I tried that. Five times. Each time it stops at 83% and says the phone was unplugged. It wasn't, I tried combinations of different cables/USB ports.
From what I've found so far, you need to know my bootloader to help me. The ROM I flashed all those months ago (and tried to reflash recently) was "I545VRUFNC5_I545VZWFNC5", My original build was "KOT49H.I545VRUFNG6", The Verizon Repair Assistant sees "Version OF1"... So I guess I have NC5 or some screwed up combination of NC5 and OF1?
I *may* have had a little bit of data on the phone that I'd like to save, almost everything was on the external card, which I have now removed to prevent accidents. However, I believe I've already lost any data that was in the phone? I'd be perfectly happy to get it working at all, but I would like to update to OF1, since it appears it can be rooted. If that's wrong, I'd like to have the newest version that can be rooted. But like I said, working at all would be great.
Thanks so much for any help

Set warranty bit: recovery issue

Hi everyone, I have a samsung galaxy j5 rooted with cf root 4 months ago. Everything was fine until I got a message yesterday prompting to restart my phone as threats were found. I restarted as stated, however afterwhile my phone got stuck on android logo with a notification at the top in yellow " set warranty bit: recovery ". I removed the battery and put it back, only to get the same message. I even tried hard resetting it, but couldn't get into recovery mode. I don't know what's going on. Please help. It's burning inside.
Sounds like you got a virus that locked out your device. You may need to reflash a full stock setup and wipe your device.
There are many variants of j5 00f and I can't see those information as my mobile is switched off. So can I install any one of those
Lol. What answers ))) a virus.. No dude. It's showing these lines because of the aboot.bin file. When it finds unsigned kernel/recovery images it shows that lines. This can be also caused by rooting.
