[Q] Cannot Turn on Wifi (Wifi is stuck) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Alright so heres the story!
I bought my samsung gear watch and realized I cannot use it because my phone is rooted and on 4.1.2
So I tried to unroot my phone so I was able to update back to 4.3 and use my new watch.
So first I reset my flash counter using Triangle Away.
Then I downloaded my stock rom from SamMobile. (SGH-I747M 4.3)
I flashed that using odinlite.
After reading tutorials that was supposed to be the end of it all and I was unrooted.
After flashing, it turns out I couldn't turn on my WiFi. It would never turn green and refuses to turn on.
I read more online and ended up factory resetting my phone.
This is where it gets weird. After factory resetting my phone in hopes my wifi will turn on again, turns out my flash counter is back at 1 and I have a custom binary again.
So at this point, my phone is not rooted and I factory resetted my phone but my "custom binary download" is at 1 again.
Im stuck here now hoping you guys can help me out.
I think I might have to reroot my "already custom phone" then to try the process all over again.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANKS

[Q] Stuck in ATT Rethink Possible Bootloop

Here is the story so far. I rooted my phone and got a little carefree with Titanium back up and uninstalled some essential gapps. I was able to get into download mode and am using LGNPST to restore my device to factory settings. The issue is I keep running into is I am getting stuck at 85%, which I know is a common error point in the LGNPST process. I turn the phone off and power it back on while keeping the phone plugged in and the phone reboots. After a few minutes I finally get an error message saying the following
Process:Upgrade_Masterbin
SubProc: Masterbin Download
Cause: Error: Fail opening port
Any kind of help would be much appreciated
Thanks!
Desconect the phone and do a hard reset.
Alright that seemed to get my farther. After a hard reset I was able to catch a glimpse of the phone setup before the phone immediately shut off. I am going to try and re install stock firmware through LGNPST again to see if this will work finally. Thanks!
Instal the 11c update anf root with the universal root.

[Q] help :(

Hi guys,
once again this painful phone hasreset by itself. I was testing some headphones to make sure they work, played a song and the phone rebooted immediately and got stuck on the samsung logo. For last couple of hours i've been removing the battery and turning it on but the phone is just stuck on the logo. I managed to get it into recovery, used the fix permissions option and rebooted the phone, it took its time but it booted in the end and showed me the initial setup screen and constantly showing force close errors for some apps. I had to remove the battery as the phone was freezing from all the force closes. Now it won't boot again.
Unfortunately this has happened too many times and I want to send the phone off for repair/replacement tomorrow.
The phone is rooted, has the rxtreme rom installed and another kernel installed and the flash counter is not at 0 anymore.
Is there a way I can set this phone back to normal and reset the counter without booting and using the triangle thing app?
Cheers

Ok mate thanks, just to clarify, unrooting after running triangle will not increment the counter right?
Also is there any way for me to backup my texts and other important application data
Try the basic faqs and guides .
It's okay i backed up data partition via recovery and done a full wipe, phone is booting fine. gna try a new ROM. I'm pretty sure this will happen again but whatever. send it off next time when i can afford to be without a phone
Cheers for the help !
Sorry for double post..
So i backed up /data in recovery. I'm going to install ripper ROM on my phone which is what I had originally, and I'm going to fully wipe my phone from rXtreme. Can I restore the /data backup into ripper or will i have problems?
Cheers.

[Q] Bricked, Flashing via Odin stuck at NAND WRITE START!!

Hey guys, I just f***ed my phone up.
This is what happened
First of all, I'm sorry for my bad english, as I'm not a native speaker
I'm using Archi Droid v3.0.2, while playing a game my phone suddenly rebooted, I thought it was just overheated, but I got a bootloop, I tried to wipe cache & dalvik, reboot my phone... bootloop. I made it to the lockscreen though, but after 5 seconds it will reboot again. I'm wiping my phone through Philz & clean install the Archi Droid ROM, aanndd, still, bootloop. So I tried to restore my Lollipop backup (I downgraded my device to Kitkat because Lollipop is not as sweet as Xposed & A.D. ) and ... I can boot, BUT I CAN'T connect to the Internet, everytime my phone got "H+" signal on the top of the screen, the screen will flicker and signal will be lost (over and over). I can still make calls & sms though (if i turned the mobile data off). Then I tried to factory reset my Lollipop, and at first boot, it says "Installing Apps (or something) ... of 98" I thought it wouldn't install or upgrade any apps after factory reset. THEN I got bootloop again. I gave up, flashed stock firmware via Odin, succeeded. Going through setup & realized I still got this network problem, so i factory reset my stock 4.3 rom & after it finished... Planning to setup my phone and after 10 seconds I got bootloop again. I got a feeling (my feeling sucks) that this is a partition problem. So I tried to flash .pit file with samsung 4.3 stock firmware, and I'm stuck at "NAND WRITE START!!" in Odin. After praying for 1 hour I decided to remove the battery and disconnect my phone from the PC. Now everytime I flash something via odin, it will always stuck at "NAND WRITE START!!"
I want to try this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/solved-pit-bricked-dead-problem-gt-t2535367) though, but I'm afraid to mess my phone up even more.
Now I'm unable to flash ANYTHING into my phone, I need some (a lot of) help here. I'm going to university and asking for a new phone will get me into trouble (they will give me a $10 phone for sure). Thanks in advance

Fixed the problem by using this, Rescue Firmware . Flashed 4.3 rescue firmware with pit file, it worked.
The battery caused boot loop on my phone, guess it's solved then

Help me save my S4 i545

So I have a S4 i9545 for Verizon. It was on 4.2.2 rooted and I upgraded using Fireflash with I545_OC1_Stock_DeOdexed_ROMwNK4_BL.zip. Everything seemed fine so I was using Titanium back up to remove the bloatware and then my battery died. When I charged it and booted up it got to the Verizon screen and hung there. I reset and tried several more times. I tried to use odin and flash a stock ROM SCH-I545_VZW_1_20140330160240_yni63xq6zh and I also tried one more. Odin gave a an error and failed. I then tried going into the boot loder and flash the I545_OC1_Stock_DeOdexed_ROMwNK4_BL.zip. Not sure if this was foolish or not. When I booted up I got to a black screen and there was a voice talking, maybe some sort of training, but I couldn't do anything.
If anyone can point me in the right direction on how to unbrick my S4 I would appreciate it. I know I screwed up.
Right now when I turn on the phone it says firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again. I tried connected to my computer and opening kies but it doesn't find it.
Try disconnecting your phone, completely closing Kies, then re-launching it with your phone still disconnected. Then click Tools > Firmware Upgrade and Initialization then follow the prompts

Note 5 Bootloop

Recently I rooted my phone, Note 5 (t-mobile variant). It did not go too well. Everything worked fine but when I would power it on, there would be a message in the corner that read, "Kernel is not seandroid enforcing". After I rooted it would randomly shut off, especially during phone calls. I was getting sick of it. Yesterday I accidentally opened the smart manager app and I saw it said threat detected so I clicked on it and it said something about Knox and I pressed restart. Big Mistake! I soft bricked because it was on a constant bootloop. Since then, I was able to install TWRP Recovery. I need the files on my phone. I'm not trying to install a ROM, I just want it back to the way it was. Is it possible to get all my files off the phone before factory resetting it?
Just downloaded original firmware in sammobile and reset your device in odin, always be careful that your really download your right firmware with the right device
