Downgrading from Jasmine 9.1 - Verizon LG G3

Downgraded to 10 via TOT, then KDZ'd to 12b and then flashed Jasmine 9.0 and 9.1 with the 35b boot stack. Can I KDZ back to 24, or do I have to TOT back to 10 and then KDZ to 24?
Really want to try that Stock based Marshmallow rom that was released.

Yes you can but why KDZ at all? Just flash whatever the right bootstack you need for CM13 (could be 24B) then flash CM13.

You can flash any Verizon Rom at this point. The Rom's won't include the updated modems, if you want to update those you can flash them separetely - http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/general/reference-stock-img-files-t2966958

Sim card not detected on CM 12.1 or 13

So here's where I am and how I got here... Just got an lg g3 that was running 12b and immediately wanted to put CM on it like I have with all my other samsung phones. Root / TWRP went on no problem, my problems began when I decided to update to CM 12.1. Found out my baseband was incompatible so I installed modem for 35b (no problem) then installed cm12.1 and gapps. After it booted up, it tells me I have no sim card installed. Usually this is modem driver related, but I can't find anyone who has had this problem.
Anyone have any advice?
There's other partitions needed than the modem for the 35B modem to work. Flash one of @xdabbeb 's bootstacks in his VS985 v2.0 ROM thread in Development.
Very important: flash the 24B bootstack before flashing any ROM other than @xdabbeb 's. After flashing the ROM you can try flashing the 35B bootstack. If that doesn't work, try the 24B bootstack.

Cm 12 an 13 run fine with 35b just flash 35b bootstack them the Rom works fine.

Thanks for the replies. I got it working with the 24b modem. I'll try flashing the bootstack so I can have 35b going.
Installing that bootstack got everything working except google maps hangs on load and eventually has to be forceclosed. Can't find that this is a known issue w/ cm13, so it must be something I messed up during my buggered install.
I'm on the same boat, installed CM12 with 12B and ran fine, updated to 12.1 and 24B, still got reception, but once I flashed CM13 with 35B sim card stopped working.
Verizon VS985
I went from cm12.1 to cm13 yesterday and had this same issue on the 35b bootstack. The ROM would not detect the sim card at all and cellular network options was greyed out. I tried reflashing a few times and same result everytime. I gave up on trying to get that to work and went to stock marshmallow which is okay but id love to get cm13 working. I am also running a straight talk sim card so I don't know if that would cause any issues on the 35b bootstack or not. I never had any issues on lollipop besides having to change my APN settings for data. Also on stock marshmallow in the setup wizard it detects that my sim card is not for Verizon wireless so I go change the network settings from global to LTE/GSM/UMTS and it picks it right up.
I have the same issue. Running resurrection remix 6.0.1 with 35b. Verizon sim works but tmobile sim does not.

For just the modem, @bweN diorD 's stickied thread in the General section. For the whole 24B Bootstack, @xdabbeb 's VS985 v2.0.0 ROM thread in the Development (non-original) section. The Bootstack would be easier since I know it's in a zip file - not sure if the modem is, so it'll be easier to flash in TWRP.
hi there!
I'm flashing CM13 on my VS985, I try flashing the 24B bootstack, 35b and doesn't work the network. Isn't trouble about APN and things like this. Simply my phone doesn't recognize my sim. Hardware is completly working, i'm using CM12 and work fine, CM13 have some bug?

You should probably check in the CM13 thread. I haven't tried CyanogenMod in over a year, I'm always not satisfied enough with it over debloated stock - too buggy for me. I think lots of people in the CM13 thread have mentioned problems with the network/mobile data and/or possible solutions.

Fix It!
I can fix it, I just need flash the 24b bootstack, cm 12.1, run the system, after flash cm13 and do wipe data. This is the solution for me.

Issues with Baseband on 10b

Hello everybody
I have a few questions regarding my phone and I hope you can help me solve them. I have the VS985 and I had it on 35b Lollipop 5.1.1 I was able to root it but then I realized there's no custom recovery for it yet, I was planning to try skydragon, so I downgraded using the TOT method to 10, so far so good, nonetheless, in order for me to try to install that ROM I read that I had to have the 35b boostack, so I installed the xdabbeb_vs98535b_bootstack.zip file, TWRP 2.8.7.0 says that installs successfully, I restart the phone but when I go to baseband says unknown and sure enough I can't install skydragon or cm13 because it says I don't have the 35b baseband.
I've tried the 24b, 23c and 12b modems, all get me baseband unknown and get no signal on Tmobile. The TOT I used was LG G3 VS985 10B_03 Stock TOT. I've been looking online and everybody says just flash the baseband on TWRP and voila! but not my case, I can flash it but doesn't work.
Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you.
Hello!
It is incorrect that you have to have the 35B bootstack to be on SkyDragon (same with JasmineROM). The only time it's a must is if you want to use Advanced Calling, or just plain want to use the latest modem. SkyDragon and JasmineROM contain several partitions from 24B. Flashing the ROM after the bootstack is what caused the issue, because critical partitions in the 35B bootstack were overwritten by their 24B counterparts that are in the ROM.
If you want the 35B bootstack, then you need to flash that after having flashed SkyDragon.

Hello there!
So let me explain a bit more about my situation, I currently have 4.4.2 stock 10b I downgraded from 35b 5.1.1. I rooted the phone and installed TWRP but when I try to flash CM 12.1 or CM 13, I mentioned skydragon but my mistake is CM what I want to flash, I always get the error that the modem isn't the right one, I've tried with several modems and same error. What can I do install CM?
Thank you

Either flash the 23C or 24B modem before flashing CM12.1/13. The 24B bootstack contains the 24B modem so you can flash that before trying to flash CM.
Edit: I haven't tried CM12.1 in a long time, and I've never tried CM13 so this is based only on old information which was definitely true at one time, at least for CM12.1. Repeat, no personal experience with CM13. I only chimed in at the mention of SkyDragon.

Hey there!
Thank you for your help! Well this I what I've tried, I restored to 10b using TOT I installed all modems, 12b, 23c, 24b and 35b and all of them are giving me unknown baseband afterwards, I get no signal, so I figured I'll install CM on top, but guess what? it always gives me the error that the baseband isn't the right one. I'm not trying to restore to 10b by using the KDZ method and then I'll install the modem. I don't know what is going on.
Thank you for helping on this.
P.D. I'll try skydragon to see what happens, I didn't install it because I read gives no data on Tmobile.

Hello! I have an update
So this is what I did, I downloaded SkyDragon V6.0.2 and installed on the 10b vesion and it worked just fine, I didn't want to risk to try to flash CM anymore but so far everything is working! even data on roaming, I'm currently in Canada and the Telus network is flying, over 70mb on download, as a matter of fact, I never seen those speeds in the US, at least where I live.
I'm sure if I flash CM from TWRP it will work because I'm using the 35b baseband.
Thank you all for your help!
Merry Christmas and Happy 2016!

Downgrading Rom (LS990)

Hello, I am currently on a marshmellow rom (rooted) that has a few issues that I can't live with. I would like to downgrade to the latest stock lollipop rom (rooted). Is it my understanding that ZV8 is the latest stock rom? Also, does anyone forsee if I will run into any issues going from marshmellow to lollipop? Also, I did a search and found multiple ZV8 roms and I'm not sure which one to use. If anyone can link to the appropiate rom, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
ZVC is the latest rom. However I don't have a link for it. You can however downgrade to ZVA and then upgrade to ZVB and ZVC after that.
http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G3/LS990/LS990ZVA_00.zip <-- ZVA tot
http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G3/LS990/LS990ZVA_00-LS990ZVB_00_update.zip <-- ZVA to ZVB
http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G3/LS990/LS990ZVB_00-LS990ZVC_00_update.zip <-- ZVB to ZVC
If you can find a direct link to the ZVC tot that would be easier.
Thanks for the reply. Can i just flash zvc from the marshmallow rom 6.0.1 or is it recommended to flash zva and zvb first?

You will need to downgrade using the tot method first.

How to root from 47a official

So I went back to stock and took all of the official updates. Can I root and flash M Roms again?
Sent from my VS985 4G using XDA-Developers mobile app
In the future, please post questions in the Q&A section. I'll ask a moderator to move this thread.
The easiest way to be on the latest official but rooted stock Marshmallow ROM is to flash the 10B TOT using the .DLL that's extracted from the 35B KDZ, the root with the Stump app and put TWRP on with TWRP Manager from the Play Store, then flash @xdabbeb 's stock 47A firmware ROM and his 35B Bootstack, and any optional debloat zips in the third post of his 47A ROM thread.
Any other way on 35B and higher is just really complicated, involves suspicious rooting apps that only give you temporary root anyway and you can brick doing what you need to in order to have TWRP if you want, requiring you to use the TOT method to recover so it's easiest to just use the TOT to begin with.
